Loaded Biscuits and Gravy

If you're craving comfort food, this spot absolutely delivers. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with sausage, topped with an egg--and it was delicious. Everything was flavorful, hearty, and exactly what you want when you're in the mood for a satisfying meal. Service was just as great as the food. We were seated right away when we walked in (went during the week, so no wait), our order was taken promptly, and the food came out quickly. Overall, such a smooth and enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Who's your cafe? Hoosier Cafe! Whenever we travel we always search for great diners. We found the Holy Grail of diners here. We had a vegetarian omelette with a side of crispy bacon, hash browns and a biscuit and gravy, and a Belgian waffle. There's Indiana sports legends jerseys on every wall. And our server, Shannon, was top notch. Try it, you'll like it.

Stopped in for a tenderloin, I'd heard they were fantastic, and definitely didn't disappoint! Great flavor, nice breading and of course huge!! Waitress was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed!

The food was pretty good, no complaints! While it isn't the best breakfast I've had, it did taste like good old homemade food which was nice. The service was great and quick.

Nothing too Midwest about my breakfast, but it was still solid. Adding onions and peppers for $1 to hash browns was a nice touch. Eggs and coffee good for about $14.

Always amazing and delicious. I've been coming here for more than a decade and I'll always come back! Staff is friendly, food is quick, typical diner.

Yum! We got right in.... It was busy but we roared are food and got it 5 mins later. It was fresh, hot and delicious! The Denver omelette was delicious and the pancakes were insane in flavor! A hint of vanilla! Will be coming back! Price was also good. Service quick and friendly.

This restaurant reminds me of the restaurants I grew up with in central Illinois. The fried mush was great. It took me back to my childhood!

It had the perfect balance of sweetness without overpowering the coffee. You can tell they use high-quality beans because the flavor was incredibly smooth. We also tried a latte, and it was equally delicious. Ordering is done through a kiosk, which isn't usually my favorite, but Caffenio makes it easy. There are so many customization options, and the process is very user-friendly. I was also happy to see they offer multiple milk choices, including dairy-free options. The barista was warm, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Another bonus is the large patio with misters, which made sitting outside comfortable even on a warm Arizona morning. Overall, this was a fantastic first visit, and Caffenio has definitely earned a spot in our regular coffee rotation. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

There are two drive thru kiosks here and ordering is all through a screen. There are so many different drinks and foods on the menu that if you are a newbie to this place it might be a bit overwhelming. On my most recent visit I had a caramel rockaccino with cinnamon and oat milk. It didn't take too long for it to be made and it had a well balanced sweetness and creaminess. I'd definitely get it again. I appreciate that you can bring in your own cup for them to use for your drink and it appears that you might get a little discount for using your cup too! I'll have to remember to bring in mine next time I want a coffee from here.

They have a larger patio space outdoors, which I asked and discovered they are dog friendly so happy to find another venue we can bring the girls to. The patio was still shaded when we left about noon so it's a good spot for pups. Two of our group was already seated when we arrived so we joined them upon arrival. Lisa, our server, immediately came over for drink orders and confirm we were still waiting for others to join. Lisa, was so patient and friendly while the group gathered and decided what to order. I asked for a glass of O.J. which was sans pulp for those who don't like it in their O.J. I prefer some to jazz it up but it was a good glass of juice. They have a good sized menu with both breakfast and lunch offerings, and it took a bit to decide on what we were eating. I decided on the Corned Beef Hash with two eggs over-medium and a pancake. I asked for it on a separate plate and she said no worries, that's how it is served. The hash was sooo good! Cooked to a crispy crust and so flavorful and not salty at all, which I loved because sometimes hash can be salty. It also came with hash browns, which were cooked perfectly and not greasy in the least. I asked for my eggs over-medium and they too were cooked to perfection. It came with one pancake (I chose this in place of toast) and it was good size cake, with a nice malty flavor. It's sprinkled lightly with powder sugar and a dispense of warm syrup was provided as well. Really good breakfast! Wife went with the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. They serve a wonderful homemade blackberry jam with the toast, which was really good and jammy. She also had her eggs done the same way as me and they were cooked to perfection. The bacon was perfect and she commented about the hash browns being cooked to a crunchy outer and tender on the inside. Everyone else said their meals were just as good and everything looked delicious. Great breakfast find and we will be back! Thank you to all of the staff and cooks!

Always hoping a local recommendation turns out great. *Service: the service was fair. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in the booth across from us on her phone and checked in occasionally. A few times we had to ask for things we needed. Nothing rude, just not especially attentive or engaged. Definitely didn't feel like her #1 priority. *Food: I ordered the tuna *melt*. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The tuna itself was relatively cold (should have been warm on a melt) and lacked flavor, the cheese wasn't melted (it's a "melt", right?), and the bread was good. I dipped and drenched in salt, pepper, ranch and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The fries were good, hot and tasty. Overall, it felt like a mid-level café sandwich made by a basic "cook", not a well curated restaurant sandwich. My lunch buddy ordered a smothered omelette that looked great, and he said it was very good, so that was good. *Ambiance: the atmosphere was decent. Very basic, a bit cold feeling, café-like, casual, and reasonably comfortable. Nothing stood out strongly other than it seemed pretty clean and bright. *Value: my tuna melt and fries, with no drink, was $16. Not great, not terrible. It felt like an $8-$10 sandwich max for what I got, not a standout value. I posted a picture of their specials board so you can get a feel for the value. *Overall: everything here was fair, food, service, and ambiance while value was not great. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. A three-star experience for me. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area and others wanted to go. *Update: I have a strong reputation for detailed, honest, and trustworthy reviews. What we experienced is accurately and honestly captured in this review. There were no misunderstandings, our experience is captured exactly as reviewed. I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.
