Loaded Biscuits and Gravy

If you're craving comfort food, this spot absolutely delivers. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with sausage, topped with an egg--and it was delicious. Everything was flavorful, hearty, and exactly what you want when you're in the mood for a satisfying meal. Service was just as great as the food. We were seated right away when we walked in (went during the week, so no wait), our order was taken promptly, and the food came out quickly. Overall, such a smooth and enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Who's your cafe? Hoosier Cafe! Whenever we travel we always search for great diners. We found the Holy Grail of diners here. We had a vegetarian omelette with a side of crispy bacon, hash browns and a biscuit and gravy, and a Belgian waffle. There's Indiana sports legends jerseys on every wall. And our server, Shannon, was top notch. Try it, you'll like it.

Stopped in for a tenderloin, I'd heard they were fantastic, and definitely didn't disappoint! Great flavor, nice breading and of course huge!! Waitress was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed!

The food was pretty good, no complaints! While it isn't the best breakfast I've had, it did taste like good old homemade food which was nice. The service was great and quick.

Nothing too Midwest about my breakfast, but it was still solid. Adding onions and peppers for $1 to hash browns was a nice touch. Eggs and coffee good for about $14.

Always amazing and delicious. I've been coming here for more than a decade and I'll always come back! Staff is friendly, food is quick, typical diner.

Yum! We got right in.... It was busy but we roared are food and got it 5 mins later. It was fresh, hot and delicious! The Denver omelette was delicious and the pancakes were insane in flavor! A hint of vanilla! Will be coming back! Price was also good. Service quick and friendly.

This place was a nice clean little diner. The food was bland, but also not terrible. The price was average.

I'm not an avocado toast type person, but as a (temporary) non-dairy consumer, I thought it sounded…read morelike it would be worth a try. Boy was I right! If all avocado toasts were like this, I don't know why anyone would choose something else! The sourdough bread was lightly toasted but not so stiff that it scraped up my mouth. The flavors of the toppings gave it a hearty, yet sweet decadence and the aioli really sealed the deal! My server checked on me plenty but not more than was comfortable and the place itself was small, but it wasn't overwhelming in any way. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items! (There were about ten small tables under the "Brunchin" wall, just didn't want to share all of the people that were filling them)

Apparently because the booth would seat one more than our party of four, it was held back. At this point there were at least two additional parties of four also waiting to be seated. After no communication from the host, a group of five that arrived well after us was seated there before us. We let the host know that it was ridiculous and left. This is our second less-than-satisfactory visit here. We absolutely won't be coming back. This was an impressive failure to provide basic customer service. We drove 10 minutes to Bisbee Breakfast Club and were seated immediately. Don't waste your time at Thanks A Brunch.

To accommodate for the warmer months, they have lots of shade over the outdoor seating and some fans to help try to keep it as cool as possible. I ordered the brown sugar coconut latte and it was sooooooo good. I would say it was my ideal cup of coffee! Service was not terrible, but wasn't notable. Be sure to stick around inside to get your coffee. They only bring your order to you if it's a pastry (at least that's what it seemed). It was pretty busy inside when my friend and I went, so we chose some chairs outside. They gave her a number for her pastry and brought it out, but we had to go up to the counter to find our drinks after waiting several minutes and wondering. That all would have been great info to know when ordering initially. Definitely will be returning! Side note: If you're familiar with downtown Chandler, this won't come as a surprise, but since I'm not a Chandler-regular, I was a little surprised at the lack of parking aside from parallel parking just in front of the actual coffee shop. Ended up parking in a free parking garage, but it was a little bit of a walk to the coffee shop from the parking garage.

First timers and came with a small group of women from the neighborhood. Clean and nicely…read moredecorated space, which was busy when we first arrived. They have a larger patio space outdoors, which I asked and discovered they are dog friendly so happy to find another venue we can bring the girls to. The patio was still shaded when we left about noon so it's a good spot for pups. Two of our group was already seated when we arrived so we joined them upon arrival. Lisa, our server, immediately came over for drink orders and confirm we were still waiting for others to join. Lisa, was so patient and friendly while the group gathered and decided what to order. I asked for a glass of O.J. which was sans pulp for those who don't like it in their O.J. I prefer some to jazz it up but it was a good glass of juice. They have a good sized menu with both breakfast and lunch offerings, and it took a bit to decide on what we were eating. I decided on the Corned Beef Hash with two eggs over-medium and a pancake. I asked for it on a separate plate and she said no worries, that's how it is served. The hash was sooo good! Cooked to a crispy crust and so flavorful and not salty at all, which I loved because sometimes hash can be salty. It also came with hash browns, which were cooked perfectly and not greasy in the least. I asked for my eggs over-medium and they too were cooked to perfection. It came with one pancake (I chose this in place of toast) and it was good size cake, with a nice malty flavor. It's sprinkled lightly with powder sugar and a dispense of warm syrup was provided as well. Really good breakfast! Wife went with the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. They serve a wonderful homemade blackberry jam with the toast, which was really good and jammy. She also had her eggs done the same way as me and they were cooked to perfection. The bacon was perfect and she commented about the hash browns being cooked to a crunchy outer and tender on the inside. Everyone else said their meals were just as good and everything looked delicious. Great breakfast find and we will be back! Thank you to all of the staff and cooks!

Always hoping a local recommendation turns out great. *Service: the service was fair. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in the booth across from us on her phone and checked in occasionally. A few times we had to ask for things we needed. Nothing rude, just not especially attentive or engaged. Definitely didn't feel like her #1 priority. *Food: I ordered the tuna *melt*. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The tuna itself was relatively cold (should have been warm on a melt) and lacked flavor, the cheese wasn't melted (it's a "melt", right?), and the bread was good. I dipped and drenched in salt, pepper, ranch and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The fries were good, hot and tasty. Overall, it felt like a mid-level café sandwich made by a basic "cook", not a well curated restaurant sandwich. My lunch buddy ordered a smothered omelette that looked great, and he said it was very good, so that was good. *Ambiance: the atmosphere was decent. Very basic, a bit cold feeling, café-like, casual, and reasonably comfortable. Nothing stood out strongly other than it seemed pretty clean and bright. *Value: my tuna melt and fries, with no drink, was $16. Not great, not terrible. It felt like an $8-$10 sandwich max for what I got, not a standout value. I posted a picture of their specials board so you can get a feel for the value. *Overall: everything here was fair, food, service, and ambiance while value was not great. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. A three-star experience for me. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area and others wanted to go. *Update: I have a strong reputation for detailed, honest, and trustworthy reviews. What we experienced is accurately and honestly captured in this review. There were no misunderstandings, our experience is captured exactly as reviewed.
