Pretty upset honestly, Julia was our server and I couldn't have been nicer, considering I'm also in the same field. Thought maybe she was just having a bad night because it didn't seem too busy but she just did not want to be bothered. This place is the best! Showed up with a large group to watch our Lightning play and the positive experience started at the door and didn't stop until we were leaving in the parking lot. Food was A+++ and the staff was too. Taryn and Sarah were on top of their game, as were the Lightning! LOL They were attentive and made sure everything we needed was taken care of that night. This was my first time in the Boca Hooters and I will 100% be back. Restaurant was clean and you could tell management is taking care of everything from quality of food to the staff's effort to treat every customer as a #1 priority. Got here pretty late on a Tuesday night after a long busy day. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and were quickly greeted. Service was good and I'm glad we have a local bar open late but the food was just ok. We ordered 10 hot wings and chicken Caesar salad to share. The hot wings weren't hot and they were the tiniest wings I've ever seen. A little smaller than my finger! Lol it was my first time here so I'm not sure if this is how they typically are. We proceeded to order and specifically said we would like our crab legs first. The bartender Melissa said sure no problem. The crab legs did not come first, in fact when I asked her and told her she said to be exact " well I could of waited to put the food in but I didn't so the wings and fries came first." Beer and food arrived really fast which I appreciated, but the wings were way over cooked and the beers are much smaller at this location than others. Lex was my server and while she was nice she was never there, 90% of my time in the restaurant was at an unattended bar because they were sitting on top of the main bar inside. I've been eating at hooters for a really long time but I doubt I'll come back to this location one of the things I've always enjoyed is the good conversation and atmosphere most locations have to offer but this one is so awkward I quickly ate and left. Vanessa from Guest Relations has no comprehension on how to provide good customer service and if this is how Hooter's trains their management to resolve customer complaints than they are sorely missing the mark! Do not make excuses or try to blame food suppliers, own the mistakes made, find a suitable solution and go out of your way to resolve the customers complaint! This place was maybe a third full, if that. Yet, they are charging regular prices, in other words, more than anyone else for wings. It was over a dollar a wing, and that's ordering in large volume with enough grease to make a Harley-Davidson jealous. Seriously, with less customers you need to drop your prices some. Most people are getting takeout and not seeing the Twin Peaks Scenery, not to mention waitresses faces are covered up too.
