Not sure how I feel about this location these days. Either Hooters is struggling to find talent or Boca just got the short end of the stick, but either way the management here is sort of taking a nose dive. Don't get me wrong the girls here are still great (they've lost a few good ones recently tho too) so I'm not quite sure what this spot is lacking, but maybe for starters we could bring some of the personality and friendliness back. Just a much more sterile experience here these days than in the past. This is the best place to watch any game, any time of day. The wings are awesome, lots of food options, and good drinks. Only downside, I went here a few nights ago to watch a game and the server was constantly pushing our table to order drinks. When we told her we couldn't decide yet, she said "okay well let me know because we are competing for drink sales tonight." Who says that??? First time visiting this Hooter's location and after reading the reviews, I'm not surprised. This location seems poorly managed. The manager was talking with other customers instead of managing the 2-3 waiters having side conversations all over the restaurant. Our waiter seemed extremely distracted, she only came over once to give us water and take our orders, then once the food came out part of our meal fell off the plate onto the table. I tried to get her attention 2 more times while we were eating just to get more blue cheese dressing. She didn't notice me and didn't come back until she was handing us our check before we even asked for it. I've been here so many times and it's so inconsistent, it's one of the better locations because of the outdoor patio and easy parking. With cool weather it's a pleasure to sit outside or at the bar with fresh air all around. However if you are not a regular or a muscle headed biker, you can be invisible to some of the air headed Hooters girls.... with that said, why am I here? They have a ton of TVs for football games and the wings and some appetizers are delicious. I've been coming to Hooters since I was a young teenager. Still, to this day, the hottest girls without being a strip club that I've seen this side of South Florida. In addition, the indoor outdoor dynamic of the space truly blows away the one on Paradise Boulevard in Las Vegas directly across from the airport. Got to tell you, after all these years this one is truly my favorite, hands down. What makes it easier to write such an eloquent review about the Boca Raton hooters is Scott, the Manager. Truly goes out of his way to make sure you're having a good time and everything is perfect. In addition, I imagine that Scott, as a manager has the amazing staff that keeps me coming back here. I always pick up Togo from here but one time I recently stopped in here for a Togo order recently and sat at the bar to have a beer while I waited. The bartender was extremely respectful, tentative and polite. The manager Wayne, stopped by and introduced himself to me which I found shocking but appreciated. He noticed my shirt which I got on vacation in the Colorado so we started talking about that. I enjoyed myself so much and felt so welcomed that when a few friends were in town from Cleveland (huge Brown fans) I brought them in to watch the game. We had such an amazing time! This is a family-friendly sports-bar environment. Despite the somewhat suggestively attired servers, the food is good and prices are right. Specialties of fried wings can be made healthier if you elect the smoked or unbreaded wings. Caesar Salad, steamed shrimp, burgers, fries, terrific fresh oysters on the half-shell and more. Our small group has requested Rachel be our server because she has a great smile, attitude, and everything that makes having lunch here more delightful. There are two things that I think about when I hear Hooters. That is TNT, sorry I cant let you know what I mean by the acronym! I remember going to the original Hooters in Boca as a kid with my father and brother. I've always loved the wings and that is the only thing worth ordering in my opinion. Lili and myself also celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Hooters. I knew that I married the right woman when she said, "Lets go eat chicken wings and drink some beers for our anniversary." So, Hooters will always hold a special place in my heart. This location is large inside and they also have a large patio. The interior bar and exterior one are big and spacious. I don't come here very often, but when I do I always get the food to go. I don't want to get in trouble with the wife lol. The wings have been pretty inconsistent here on each of my visits. Sometimes they are awesome and bring me back to being a kid. Other times they are greasy and not cooked well. On my last few visits I've ordered the boneless wings and I will only order these now going forward. They have always been cooked consistently and they are a good size. The girls that work here have been friendly and treated me well. I've found the drink prices to be on the higher side here for what you get. A draft beer that isn't more than 12oz is over $6.00 and they don't have that good of a selection. Needless to say, I'll only have a couple when I'm here. I was having a late lunch there yesterday with familyo. We got our drinks and food and our server handed us to go boxes. Mid bite I declined and she acted like we had thrown a fried pickle in her ugly face. Obviously it was shift change so she handed us our check. As if she couldn't have been more unprofessional, started boxing up our food for us. Maybe she had to get to her "night job " on a pole across town. Maybe her kids were in the car with the windows up during her day shift at Hooters. Who knows? She could have handled it way differently. Boring,mundane and run of the mill. I went for lunch and to start wasn't greeted at the door. I walked in, looked around and saw plenty of empty tables and seats at the bar. I probably should've turned around walked out but I grabbed a seat at the bar instead. I mainly went in to buy a calendar for my buddy Clint and decided to stay for lunch. The bartender Amanda took her sweet time making her way over to me to get my drink order. She wasn't unfriendly she just seemed like she didn't care to be there and was disconnected. I ordered a burger with curly fries. Usual wait 10-12 minutes. The burger was cooked and assembled perfectly. The curly fries were not very hot and therefore not very tasty so I snacked on a few but basically left them for the trash where they belonged. Not a fan of this location and will never return, there's just too many better choices nearby, I'm not even sure how the place stays open with the lack of traffic. read more

I've been coming to hooters at Least twice a month for the past 20 years. Normally everything is just what I expected. Today they gave my son a kids cheeseburger meal medium rare. I asked well done. I only noticed because the bread was red. I asked to have a cheeseburger that was well cooked. They took the same meat and cooked it some more. The wings I ordered were redone wings. I always order 3 mile wings. The ones I received were re dipped barbecue wings then in 3 mile sauce. I blame the cooks and owner. They are getting cheap. I spend $60-80 each visit. I am so upset with the management at this location, general manager being mr. Chris tortelli. I'm upset because he refused to serve me a drink. It was 2:15pm. I sat at the outside bar. There were two girls there but they were both busy flirting with a table of men. I walked inside and asked the hostess where the bar tender was. She was inside. I walked up to her and asked for a drink and let her know I was outside. 10 minutes later she finally came and asked to see my id. I showed it to her and gave her my credit card to at right away. She left with my card and I was still out side waiting for another 10 minutes. Then the manager Chris came outside and asked to see my id again (I am 25 by the way). I showed him my school id I showed him my credit cards and he even made sign my name on a napkin because he did not believe I was me. My hair is blond now but in my id I was a brunette. I felt so embarrassed. Not only is the food here Terrible, and the waitresses too busy to care about a girl at the bar, but the GM Chris is incredibly rude and I will never go to this hooters location again and urge anyone else who enjoys good food and service not to come here because you won't get it. read more

I just left after the absolute worst experience at this location. We got there at 7:55pm, the restaurant wasn't busy. Infact, for what it usually is, it was quiet. At 8:10, a waitress who had been sitting at a table since we walked in, came over and took our drink order. Lazily dropped off our drinks, walked away and went back to sitting at the table. At 8:18, our waitress came by, introduced herself, took our order and walked off. By 8:43pm we had not gotten our appetizer, we asked if the appetizer was coming out or if they were still making it because if so, we would leave. The waitress went back to the kitchen area, asked the cooks, with a manager there as well, came back to us 3 minutes later and said our food would be out in 60 seconds. I told them I wasn't going to wait, they asked if we wanted the food wrapped up to go, we declined. It's beyond me. If we stayed an extra 10 minutes we would have been sitting there, starving, for an hour. Now. I've been a waitress before. I understand that the waitress we had was slammed, but there were two others sitting at a table, one had her cellphone out, the other briefly counting her tips, chit charting. Or as I like to say, hardly working. If you're a server, and you are busy, you can ask someone or a manager to help you if you are "in the weeds". It's sad that our waitress can't rely on her fellow staff members for support. She lost out on a $50 tab and a decent tip on a slow Monday night. After leaving, I noted to myself that a manager had not come over to talk to us, to at the least apologize or let us know it'll be a minute for our food to keep us at bay. That's poor customer service on their part. Usually it's not this bad. I've come to this location several times over the past few years. The service is never really outstanding. Okay, this is a "Hooters" - just like most large chains, you should know what to expect on the menu. It's their same famous hot wings, curly fries, and sandwiches as every other Hooters on the planet. I'll give this Hooters one more star for these reasons: - the building is newer, and I believe it's large and laid out nicely. Nice outside area with bar and high-tops, and large inside area - even with a lounge for private events - the girls. Yes, it's a Hooters, so expect Hooters girls. Not very good. I guess you don't really go to Hooters for the food, but I mean come on! The food we ordered was sub par. I thought they were known for their wings?!? The wings we ordered were almost soggy and the kids meal came out extremely HOT. It literally took 20 minutes for the mac and cheese to cool down. Cold fries for all the meals including with the hot lava mac and cheese they served us. We also waited almost 45 minutes for our food and the place was empty. What bothered me the most was how disgusting the woman's restroom was. Horribly disgusting! Toilet paper everywhere, gross toilets, dirty urine soaked floors. Welcome to south Florida! This place is by a very large mall. I was doing some shopping and stopped in for happy hour. Drinks and apps were half off. I recommend the buffalo shrimp. They are really delicious. It's an awesome place to catch NBA games. The bar wraps around to the outside and back inside again in a large loop that provides plenty of seating. Last, but not least, the staff is quite attractive. I'm guessing the local school, FAU, supplies most of its employees. Starting to think I should have gone to college in south Florida. read more

Tried to order a 'black-n-tan' beer. Waitress tells me "the bartender has to ask the manager first because we only have Guinness in a can." I tell her pour out of the can, set the remainder aside and use it to make me more later. She goes to ask and said I would have to "buy two beers". I ask to speak to the manager. Manager "Chris" (he arrogantly informed me that he's the "managing- partner") said I had to "buy two beers". I was there to order take home for my family while I drank a few beers while waiting. I politely told him "no thank you, I'll go to the Tilted-kilt (where I am now happily drinking a black and tan as I write this review) and he said "bye" and walked away.... It was a bit hard to find as the shopping center was laid out to be "attractive" but only succeeded in "confusing" but that's not the restaurant's fault. Its inside/outside setup was pleasing, and my service, provided by Ashley, was quick and efficient. However, the hamburger was, somehow, a bit tasteless and didn't provide the kind of resistance to my bite that I've come to expect.
