This place is always busy but a really great eat. The Buffalo chicken tacos are nothing less than amazing. I would order these again every time. The Buffalo chicken sand which was great too. I would skip the fish tacos - they were a little dry. They were out of shrimp so we did the fish tacos instead. Place was clean and service (even though they mentioned short staffing like everywhere else) the service was top notch. When a person comes to Hooters or any chain they want consistency. The menu is always the same so people want decent wings, cold beer and cute girls serving them. 0-3 and they didn't even go down swinging. We got here one evening and it wasn't overly busy. We were able to get a table outside but the girl acted like I asked to sit on the roof. There were plenty of tables outside and only one table had any people. Anyway we were seated then forgot about. Finally our waitress appeared and she seemed to be on something as she was figetty and barely paying attention to what we ordered. Then we waited. Out comes the beer. The wrong kind. She disappears for like 15 minutes and someone else appeared with the food. My order was wrong. The new waitress rolled her eyes when I told her this wasn't what I ordered. I'm not sure if the eye roll was for me or for her meth head of a co-worker. 10 minutes later and my correct order came out.....burnt. How do you burn wings? You make them all the time! We are from Dallas Texas and have been to hooters many times before. I give the hooters a 3 star review because the food was great (better than Texas). However, the servers kept going into the rest room. when we first walked in I needed to wash my hands, went into the restroom and figured I would go ahead and use the restroom, no toilet paper and the servers were in the other stall chatting it up. ( many different servers). The manager ( I think) came in and I told her there was no Toilet paper, she then knocked on the stall beside me and grabbed me a hand full of toilet paper ( the same stall where the other servers were). While eating the servers kept going into the restroom. I feel like that is NOT the place to just hang out. It was many different ones going back and fourth. My husband was missing his beer and I asked our server about it and she answered "the bartender is using the restroom, I don't know when she will be out". Another TMI, just say okay and get the beer from another person. We, my wife, brother-in-law and I went to Hooters in Orange Beach, AL while on vacation for our 54th Anniversary, even after reviewing the comments on Yelp prior to coming down. I thought that the bad reviews were just made by unhappy people. Well we tried them today and found that the reviews were right on. we were promptly seated, but our drink orders were never taken nor were we acknowledged after approximately 25 minutes, we observed others that came in after us were served. We were never asked anything or why we were leaving. Will not go back. I find it hard to understand why a manager or the franchise owner would tolerate business being allowed to walk out, unless money is no problem. Good luck in the future and just know we were at this business when it first opened in the 90's. But we will never be back. Thanks for listening. read more

Went here with my family a couple days ago on vacation. Hands down best food i ate the whole time I was there! We even went to Tacky Jacks, the hangout and many other popular places and they didn't even compare. Burgers and fries were amazing. Excellent waiter she was sweet and actually held a conversation. Single worst Hooters experience I have ever had. I'm usually such a fan of this chain, so I'm extremely disappointed. I took the time to drive a good 20 minutes to pick up our order from here, so once I drive the 20 minutes back to find such issues I was quite upset. Every single piece of our order was wrong. Nothing came with condiments, even the included ones. Burgers so dry they are actually inedible. Called the restaurant to voice my issues considering we had spent over $40 on the dinner and quite a bit of time getting it. It took me 6 different calls to even get someone to pick up the phone, the girls of course put me on hold for a manager. Well I spent 20 minutes on hold when they hung up on me. It's our first night gulf shores, we decided on hooters. I will tell you first impressions almost killed the trip. She never made eye contact with us, and said sit where you want. However, Charlene whom was our waitress was very sweet and friendly. It was pretty slow on a Thursday so she was very attentive to us. Somehow she kept all of our crazy request with food in order. Our appetizer came quick. And the fried pickles were by far the best ones we've ever ordered. Each pickle was perfectly fried! We got our order, which one thing was sent back. Which we opt not to send it, but the waitress insisted. It was the quickest turnaround I've seen! Overall our experience was very pleasant and I would definitely not mind coming back here!
