Visited this location for the 3rd year in a row on my birthday (3/13). The wings were the best I've ever had (at this location). 10 naked Hot wings (bone-in) for $7.99. I was in the best mood leaving the restaurant. Service wasn't all that great, but the food was wonderful, which outweighed service in my opinion. read more

Ok, for a Hooters it is pretty good and I have always gotten pretty good service and food is prepared fairly well. I just recently went there and tried the new grilled mahi and it was actually the best thing I have ever eaten at a Hooters. Hooters girls quality is heavily determined by lack of other options in life. Which is why you won't really find the best Hooters chicks in an area with 3 world-class Universities because to them it's just a "side-job" until they graduate. I prefer a backwoods country ass Hooters in the deep-south. Something about having to pay the mortagege for you and your sick grandma in the trailer park lends to the proper amount of ratchetness required to make Hooters fun! The drinks were priced kinda higher than I would like, but waay less than what I normally pay in L.A. so I was satisfied. My only other qualm is why don't tend to frequent Hooters often. I am not so much a fan of high-bar stool seating. I prefer a normal height table with normal chairs. Also, for a dude who watches sports, your flat-screen tv can NOT be took big! :-) read more

This placed failed at all a restaurant bar could (service and common sense) especially if you work for tips. Also the bathrooms smell of really old urine like a busy gas station headed toward the beach. If you don't clean the restrooms what is to think of the kitchen. NOT GOING BACK THIS YEAR! The food was reasonable, not expecting too much, but the service was ridiculous after I got my meal, no one came back to check everything was okay - I actually needed another drink, so the meal was a bit dry without a drink to wash it down. I was left waiting a good forty minutes after I had finished before finally someone came to check on me and see if I needed anything, server returned, said sorry but didn't acknowledge their mistake. 90 mins to have a burger and a drink. It's a good spot to grab a beer, watch a game and have some bar food. Don't expect an in-and-out service though, you're going to be there for a while. The new design of the place looks great. But the service is awful. First the order was incorrect, they mixed up the fries. Girl who deliver the meals said they would give us more fries. The next waitress said they would give us a plate to move the fries . No big deal. Except didn't get the plate til half way through meal. My drink was always empty. Asked for refill didnt get for 10 minutes. To top it off our waitress left for her shift. Didnt know we had a new waitress. Never got bill. We sat for 30 minutes or more. The restaurant was not even busy. Finally. Told the manager but he seemed not to care about my piss poor service at his restaurant and had the waitress print a bill. I arrived at this hooters and was hoping for a good lunch after traveling. The waitress was nice however I ordered a burger no bacon and she took the order that way however I received it with bacon. I sent it back hoping for a new burger. After receiving it in record speed I question the waitress if she indicated she had grabbed the wrong one. As I was biting into it I noticed a piece of bacon. I asked for the manager and yes they removed the bacon versus giving me a new burger. If I was Muslim this would have been a big issue. read more

I went into this restaurant on 10/31/13 early afternoon. It was not very busy maybe about 30 people total in the restaurant. I was told to take a seat at any table I like. After sitting and waiting for approximately 20 minutes for anybody to take my order. I got up to leave. On the way out the store manager noticed me. Offering to send my waitress right over. I told him I am leaving. You're the worst manager I've ever experienced. If your hungry, I strongly recommend another place. This Hooters is not worth your aggravation. read more

After a less than accommodating experience with the Hooters in uptown Charlotte. Decided to give this location a second chance to redeem the previous experience. It's a snow day and called many places to see if hours of operations were regular. Luckily hooters was open and less than 2 miles away. So upon entering this location you're automatically hit in the face with an overwhelming scent of plywood throughout the restaurant. Obviously being renovated the process wasn't thought out clearly. At least 6 tables right next to 3x7 pieces of compression plywood. And with no where else open we decide to give it a chance. The one waitress greets us at the host stands and tells us there is only two of them on the floor. Which is understandable but shes tells us to sit down. And realize THREE tables sat after us and we're all greeted before us, after they have sat down after us... So i decide to walk away jokingly tell my boyfriend maybe she'll come if I leave the table. Sure enough i go to the bathroom and she's ( Mallory) at the table. Now don't get me wrong she is doing a great job only being two of them. However her priority was completely directed to the attention of the males at hand. Aggravated but none the less expected more. .... Now they have a touch tune jukebox and we spent 8 dollars to hear songs we played and as soon as a song was played whoever was in the kitchen or whoever hooked up their aux cord to the speakers generating music to the dining room. So now you hear two different songs. And two completely songs. But as soon as the touch tunes gets close to the end of the song they silence it literally BLAST RHIANA and The Weeknd. So so soooooo unimpressed with hooters overall I think we can both say we won't be back to any location any time soon. DO BETTER HOOTERS! read more

Takeout took over 40 minutes to recieve food after being told 15 over the phone. Arrived 20 minutes after placing order. Saw people who walked in after I arrived being served before my takeout was ready. if your going to use the hotel shuttle to get food your SOL. Servers are nice, food taste good. read more

Came to NC for a UNC graduation this weekend and have to say that my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the great attention and hospitality received at this Hooters. Our server was Michelle (from Venezuela) very nice young lady. She kept the cold beer coming and made sure to stop by our table plenty of times although there was a packed house. It was Mother's Day so the whole establishment was being extra thoughtful and attentive to moms which I thought was very nice. The wings were AMAZING ! Have not visited in sometime ,went today and was surprised at the cost. We had 20 wings ,10 buffalo shrimp two cokes bill with tip was almost $50.00 way to expensive. Food and service was good . Arrived at this hooters aprox 7:30 pm Saturday night. Place was busy, Carolina duke game ready to start. Ordered wings and cheese stix. Cheese stix took aprox 20 to 25 min to get to the table. Wings came out 40 min after we ordered. They were the worst I have ever had at Hooters. Tasted old like they were pre cooking. Could not eat them. Asked for the manager he said his kitchen was understaffed. He claimed he was in there cooking. I could see the kitchen and he dident go in there until after I complained. He brought us what he called fresh wings. they were not much better than the ones we got before. Not happy. We have eaten at hooters from San Deigo to Buffalo N.Y. TO Miami F.L. I am writing to you to unfortunately complain about our last recent dinner we had at your establishment. I am a head coach for a 16u Roller Hockey Team. We won the championship and my kids on my squad wanted to havea victory dinner at Hooters for their reward. Boy, what a mistake. We went there for dinner on the 11th of February. There was about 20 of us which were seated on the outside of the closed in area. We were fine with this although it was cold and the windwas kicking up. We were placed on 3 different tables with 3 different servers. We had no issue with this what so ever. Our kids were at separate tables. I guess they were starting to become a little obnoxious. They were joking being 16 year oldkids. At this time the assistant manager dan fairman came out and explained the girls were uncomfortable serving the kids. The way this was explained to us was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! We would have appreciated it if the parents were actually spoken too and not the kids. We would have spoken to our kids to be respectful. My server Kristen was excellent. The other 2 servers were absolutely terrible. They barely came out. I feel part of the reason was that they were cold going out there just like we were.I amsure it was not just how the kids were acting. I am just totally shocked how we were treated. We were all going to get shirts so the kids could have them all signed. We were hoping the girls would have done some fun things with the kids. Every other Hooters we have been to are always willing to have fun with the kids and try to make it an excellent experience for them. As we were leaving it was quite funny to see the 2 bad servers sitting at a table inside with 2 old men. That was ok with themthough. I am sure we all spent about $500.00 between the 20 of us there and really cannot believe the bad taste that was left in our mouths. I am sure this might not have any bearing or if any of you there will really care. I just wanted to let you know so that maybe this will not happen to any of your future customers. I travel every couple weeks for business and stop in often. I can see the staff has improved over time. I'll get a rude server every once in a while, but not as much as I had in the past. My favorite servers are Cara and April, very sweet girls grab them if avaliable. Excellent service. read more

Worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Took 15-20 just for someone to acknowledge us after we were seating. This is after 2 different waitresses walked directly by our table multiple times to serve literally every other table around us. My coworker got fed up and asked the lady that seated us to take our order, she took our order and grabbed some drinks for us. About 10 minutes went by and the actual waitress that had our table finally showed up, we told her thank you but we've already been helped. She of course said nothing and stormed off. All in all a pretty terrible place to call a restaurant. There is a hummus place 2 turns down on the right behind the gas station, do yourself a huge favor, drive right past Hooters and go there if you want something tasty to eat. One Sunday afternoon, I picked up my boyfriend from the airport. He was hungry and in the mood for Hooters. We hadn't been in since Veteran's day when I got my free meal. We walked in and waited to be seated. One of the servers came up and said we could seat ourselves. We asked to sit outside in the tented area. She told us to go ahead. We were not given any menus or silverware or anything. We sat ourselves outside and noticed 1 other table out there placing their order. We figured that waitress would walk over at some point to take our drink orders. She did not come over after taking their order, so I decided to walk inside to grab some silverware. No waitresses were around (a lot of them talking to eachother) so I helped myself to the bin of silverware and walked back to my table outside. My bf said the waitress still had not come outside. We waited about 8 minutes and decided to walk out. Upon walking out my bf walked up to the one of the waitresses inside and asked for the manager. I waited by the entrance door for him, and still the staff ignored me. The manager kept running her mouth in the back and never came to speak to my bf. We were so disappointed in the staff. All the girls were chit chatting with eachother, they completely ignored any customers. I will never return there again. We decided to eat nextdoor at Texas Steakhouse and were pleased. read more

CLOSE TO RDU AIRPORT...GOOD FOR FAST DINNER BEFORE FLYING OUT. We ate the wings, a spinach salad, and their large hot dog special. I had a cold beer. We sat on the patio and watched the sun go down before making an evening flight. The service was quite attentive. The food was above average. It was quite good. The patio vibe was cheerful and relaxed. It was a nice way to wind down before heading over to the airport. BTW...they have 110V outlets on the patio I could use to charge my cell phone which was terrific for me since I like to travel with my phone as close to a 100% charge as possible, just in case an emergency arises. read more

I will never return to this Hooters. More than half the times I've been here in the past year or so, they've gotten my order wrong. The wings have gotten smaller, the sides (fries) have gotten smaller, and the kitchen does a poor job overall. In my most recent visit this past weekend, I ordered 10 wings all drums and a side of curly fries with cheese sauce. The wings did not come alll rums, and they were small as can be. The cheese sauce cup was half filled and it looked like it was taken from the bottom of the barrel, so to speak. The cheese was full of clumps/chunks of dried cheese. I let my waitress know and ended up leaving, because I had already been there for 30 minutes. That's right, I arrive at 11:02, right at opening, and there were maybe 5 other people in the place. Yet, it still took 30 minutes for my food to arrive - and it was wrong. Terrible job by the kitchen, and a consistently terrible location for this franchise on the downswing.
