I tried The House again during the Niito show. Service is horrible here as usual. Encountered the one waitress (experienced here before) I ordered boneless wings. Instead of the waiter sharing that they were sold out she gave me bone in wings and then said we don't have anymore boneless. I'm paying shouldn't I have been the one to decide on what I would like to eat? No acknowledgement or apology. The service was slow.

I called my order in. It was ready when I arrived. They now offer a pickup side when you enter. My salad was delicious as usual. I have had their wings before too. Really good. I miss their citrus pepper wings though. They offer specials during the weekdays. Some nights they have a live band that plays. They also offer the lottery. They have adult beverages too. Customer service is always pleasant. I highly recommend this place.

The House has been around for many years and it's a great place to grab a strong drink and some good food. Tonight I didn't want the drink but I did crave a Philly and The House did not disappoint. My order came out fast and super hot. The bread was fresh, soft and toasted. The chicken was flavorful and the portion was hefty. The sandwich also came with fries and at $8.50, this was a deal. If you want hot, fresh and delicious, this is your spot.

In Durham on business. Had dinner at The House. Some renovations happening inside. Got the fish n chips. Has a couple "soft" chips, but that happens when you make your own. Fish was fantastic! Crispy. Not greasy. Great flavor. Served with coleslaw, tartar sauce, ranch & hot sauce. Definitely a place to come back to and try something else!!!! If any draw back, bartender was the server as well and was quite busy.

Went to the House last night for the wing special that they advertise on Eventbrite. Called in the morning to asked when the wing special started they told us it started at 7pm and it was dine in only. We went at 7pm with a party of 6 for the.50 when we asked the waitress about the special she told us it ended last month. We decided to stay and try out the wings even though they would not honor the special. We were disappointed that it was false advertisement and felt they were just trying to bring in customers. I will never go there again and if anyone else was drawn in from false advertisement that is just a scam. It is too bad that the staff is not educated on when specials are and are confused. Another staff member told it was on Mondays. The wings were ok but the place was definitely. The wings are ok but the place was not someplace I would go to.

Saw a mention on Facebook that on Tuesday's they have shrimp fest which is 12 shrimps for $4.97 from 11AM thru closing time. We decided to check it out for dinner after work. We got there around 5:45 and glad that we did as it quickly started filling up. On Tuesday they also do free appetizers, wings and meatballs from 6-8PM. Those go incredibly fast!! The shrimp doesn't come with a side, but the price is still great. You can get them fried or grilled and choose from Garlic Butter, Texas Pete, Lemon Pepper, Sweet Asian Ginger, Shrimp Cocktail, Boom Boom or Cajun sauce on them. I got fried and the breading was wonderful. Not too much and fried perfectly. They were out of the Asian ginger so I got teriyaki instead, which is one of the wing sauces offered. It was pretty darn good. They still have their full menu available too. On Mondays they do 10 Jumbo Wings for only $5.95, Dine- In or Carry-out and have Over 20 flavors to choose from. Our waitress was super nice, but I really felt sorry for her because she was the only one waiting tables for the entire place and nearly every table was taken. Once in a while the bartender would help out, but he was busy too. They also had a guy singing and playing the guitar who was ok. He really was giving it his all, but the crowd was more into consuming - lots of food and Lots of booze for a Tuesday night!

Whenever we need a group event or just want to hang out after work we come to The House. They have a great staff, live entertainment, drink specials, food specials, you can watch the games and still hear the person next to you while having a conversation. My favorite thing is the shrimp and fries. I love adding the different sauces to them. I dislike salt on my fries and they always get my order right. If you are looking for an enjoyable evening The House is definitely a great spot to go to.

This was my first time here, I have been passing by this place for a few years every time I come into town. The wings started off rather tasty then the last few were so tough that I couldn't enjoy them I had to spit them out. They didn't have any beers on tap which was a bummer I don't think I would visit this place again not my type of hangout spot.

Oops! Excuse the spill ... but here's the tea!! Location: 3/5 Parking: 3/5 Outside appearance: 1/5 Inside appearance: 2/5 Hospitality: 2/5 Food: 5/5 Price: 5/5 So the food is what keeps me coming back! The wings ... GREAT! They have 20 or so flavors and they are consistently crunchy, juicy, and flavorful. The other menu items I've had have been good as well. The downside is it's staff & appeal. Definitely an average old school bar with no bells & whistles. I'm rating them with 3 stars due to me calling over an hour to place a pick up lunch order. It went to an automated system to leave a message. No answer. So I had to drive there, place order, and wait. I let the staff know about their phone issue & she acted irritated. Then told me to wait while she found the missing phone. I politely declined the wait & said I needed to place my order. I ordered my wing to go & they came out plated for inside dining. She basically handed me a box & went on her way. If the food wasn't good I wouldn't return.

Inside the shop was a classic deli where you order at the counter and then browse the various goods/merch while you wait. Service was fast and the sandwiches came out within 5 minutes of ordering. There are a couple picnic tables outside to sit and eat but other than that, mostly a to-go place. First timers: get the Uncle Primo's, you won't regret it!

This was my first time but my friend's hundredth (her words!) There was plenty of parking. We were greeted upon entry and informed that we could choose where we sat and just to scan the table QR code when we were ready to order. We chose a high top and a server brought us water. The vibrant colors and decor gave off excellent vibes. I ordered the Karaage Bowl (on greens instead of rice AND all the sauces on the side) and a side order of seaweed salad. A server brought them to our table. It was not necessary for us to get up once we were seated. Everything was SO GOOD. Like, "I'm mad at myself for not coming here before" good. All of the sauces were amazing too. I ordered them on the side since I wasn't sure how I would like them all, but I think I'll leave them on next time. The "greens" were a mix of lettuce and cabbage. The side of seaweed salad for $2.50 seemed a little small when they brought it out but it was packed in there and was plenty. The server came around a couple of times to check on us and top off our water. We bussed our own trash. There was only one unisex bathroom that I saw. There seemed like a lot of takeout orders going out (it was a little separate from the dining area which was nice). There was also a lovely outdoor area that would be nice if it wasn't 100 degrees. I will definitely be back to try more menu items!

It's located inside an office building so there is ample of parking and away from the hustle of the downtown. We had a reservation so we were seated immediately. We ordered four appetizers: elote Caesar salad, truffle gnocchi, kielbasa pizza and hummus. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and taste of the food. The pizza totally blew our minds and exceeded our expectations. Gnocchi was stuffed with potato and was so cheesy, we loved whatever they did with Caesar salad dressing. Hummus and pita was a hit and my daughter had just that for her dinner. For main course we ordered the shrimp and grits, blackberry salmon and BBQ chicken leg. Shrimp and grits brought all different kinds of flavours together beautifully, loved the dish so much. Blackberry salmon was a little disappointing since we dint really like the combination of blackberry gravy, also the whole dish was a little bland to an extent that we had to mix shrimp and grits gravy into it haha, totally depends on the taste preference though, Chicken dish was a little salty but tasted good. For dessert we got the sprinkle cake for the bday and we ordered their basque cheesecake. Hands down best basque cheesecake I have ever had, we finished all of it in no time. Extremely decadent. We also ordered their latte and expresso which were a perfect combination with the sweet desserts. The service was smooth and fast. He answered all our questions happily and also gave some complimentary pita bread for my daughter who loved hummus and pita. Overall a great dining experience. Highly recommended!!

The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so.
