This place serves up the best hidden wing spot in RTP / Durham. I get the feeling it's pretty poppin at night and on weekends that's not my thing at all so my best friend and I sneak in week days during lunch or a very early dinner. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Music good sing along music from 80's / 90's and early 00's. The homemade chips and wings are a must. I've been making a habit of trying new things though. I think most everything is good. Burger and Philly I know are excellent as well as the onion rings. I rarely ever leave reviews, but I really had an awful experience. We were there on a Tuesday night for a friend's going away party. We waited around for more than 30 mins with and was never addressed by the waiting staff that was serving others. We had at least 10 ppl in our grp. A regular finally told us we needed to order from the bar, so we did. They didn't have enough people taking orders, so it took a long time. Then it took like 45 mins to hear back about our food, for them the say they didn't have any more Philly egg rolls. I got a refund and was going to eat the sweet potatoe fries, but it took so long for barbecue sauce and the 1 fry I tasted wasn't good. I asked for my money back for the fries too and the waitress got an attitude and refuse to give me my money back. We just left and we will never come to this restaurant again or recommend it to anyone. read more

I tried The House again during the Niito show. Service is horrible here as usual. Encountered the one waitress (experienced here before) I ordered boneless wings. Instead of the waiter sharing that they were sold out she gave me bone in wings and then said we don't have anymore boneless. I'm paying shouldn't I have been the one to decide on what I would like to eat? No acknowledgement or apology. The service was slow. read more

I called my order in. It was ready when I arrived. They now offer a pickup side when you enter. My salad was delicious as usual. I have had their wings before too. Really good. I miss their citrus pepper wings though. They offer specials during the weekdays. Some nights they have a live band that plays. They also offer the lottery. They have adult beverages too. I like their salads here, it's probably the only thing I really order from DoorDash. I love a salad that has everything in from egg, cucumber, etc. A lot of salads come with the bare minimum so that's definitely a benefit. I did order 2 salads once and only received one but I believe that was a door dash error rather than the establishment. I've heard their wings are good so I may try those next time. read more

The House has been around for many years and it's a great place to grab a strong drink and some good food. Tonight I didn't want the drink but I did crave a Philly and The House did not disappoint. My order came out fast and super hot. The bread was fresh, soft and toasted. The chicken was flavorful and the portion was hefty. The sandwich also came with fries and at $8.50, this was a deal. Went to the House last night for the wing special that they advertise on Eventbrite. Called in the morning to asked when the wing special started they told us it started at 7pm and it was dine in only. We went at 7pm with a party of 6 for the.50 when we asked the waitress about the special she told us it ended last month. We decided to stay and try out the wings even though they would not honor the special. We were disappointed that it was false advertisement and felt they were just trying to bring in customers. I will never go there again and if anyone else was drawn in from false advertisement that is just a scam. It is too bad that the staff is not educated on when specials are and are confused. I have rode pass THE HOUSE plenty of time and never stopped, however decided to check this restaurant out on Friday evening. Walked in and it wasn't too crowded, but it wasn't a ghost town. It was just enough people there. Me and my Fiance' sat at the bar - we ordered the nachos for our appetizer and then I ordered the fish and chips and he ordered the philly steak and cheese sandwich for our meals. The fish was a little hard, but it was okay. My Fiance said that his sandwich was good and the nachos were good. The people sitting across from us at the bar ordered the chicken wings and the looked and smelled awesome. I am definitely going back to check those wings out. Saw a mention on Facebook that on Tuesday's they have shrimp fest which is 12 shrimps for $4.97 from 11AM thru closing time. We decided to check it out for dinner after work. We got there around 5:45 and glad that we did as it quickly started filling up. On Tuesday they also do free appetizers, wings and meatballs from 6-8PM. Those go incredibly fast!! The shrimp doesn't come with a side, but the price is still great. You can get them fried or grilled and choose from Garlic Butter, Texas Pete, Lemon Pepper, Sweet Asian Ginger, Shrimp Cocktail, Boom Boom or Cajun sauce on them. I got fried and the breading was wonderful. Not too much and fried perfectly. They were out of the Asian ginger so I got teriyaki instead, which is one of the wing sauces offered. It was pretty darn good. They still have their full menu available too. On Mondays they do 10 Jumbo Wings for only $5.95, Dine- In or Carry-out and have Over 20 flavors to choose from. Our waitress was super nice, but I really felt sorry for her because she was the only one waiting tables for the entire place and nearly every table was taken. Once in a while the bartender would help out, but he was busy too. They also had a guy singing and playing the guitar who was ok. Whenever we need a group event or just want to hang out after work we come to The House. They have a great staff, live entertainment, drink specials, food specials, you can watch the games and still hear the person next to you while having a conversation. My favorite thing is the shrimp and fries. I love adding the different sauces to them. I dislike salt on my fries and they always get my order right. If you are looking for an enjoyable evening The House is definitely a great spot to go to. read more

As an Airline Employee staying at a nearby Hotel I've been to numerous restaurants all over the country. The service here definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I sat for 30 mins before I was even acknowledged by the bartender, even though 2 were sitting 6 feet from me absorbed in their phones and vaping. Oddly, I didn't see ashtrays in the restaurant so I assume it's a nonsmoking establishment. After another 15 minute wait I finally managed to get a 2nd drink. Disappointing as a coworker recommended the place. You need to definitely move your service up a few notches. Sadly i mostly likely will not be back. read more

The wings started off rather tasty then the last few were so tough that I couldn't enjoy them I had to spit them out. It went to an automated system to leave a message. No answer. So I had to drive there, place order, and wait. I let the staff know about their phone issue & she acted irritated. Then told me to wait while she found the missing phone. I politely declined the wait & said I needed to place my order. I ordered my wing to go & they came out plated for inside dining. We went to this very fine establishment last evening. I loved how CLEAN it was, the accommodating staff, and the spaciousness of the building, allowing for proper social distancing. I am on crutches and use a wheelchair. My only observation is that lighting is desperately needed for the handicapped ramp area. When we left the restaurant, it was completely dark, and so was the ramp area. When we arrived in the main bar, all of the tables had high bar stools. We were directed to an additional area, where we were able to be seated with regular chairs and my wheelchair. I'd like to acknowledge the Bar manager, Janell and her Bartender, Davaja, for being SO amazing and accommodating!!! They provided REALLY outstanding service! Janell made sure to tell us about events happening during the week, daily specials and Happy Hour specials. We were even able to find out that The House can be used for events as a venue. She's GREAT for their marketing! It was Happy Hour when we arrived, so we ordered drinks after talking with Janell and Davaja's suggestions. I had her delicious Long Island Iced Tea, and my Sister had something custom crafted that she said was scrumptious, it was a fruit juice concoction with vodka, that she loved! The ratio of alcohol to mixer was appropriate, and I had also requested light ice. Davaja is a really good Bartender too. She was very attentive, and so was other staff members, but I didn't get their names unfortunately. We just appreciated that they stopped to ask if we were okay, or if we needed anything. Customer service is amazing at The House and is NOT lacking like at so many other bar/ restaurants! For our dinner, I ordered their House salad, Parmesan Garlic wings, and Sweet potato fries. My Sister ordered a appetizer, the Sampler, which comes with 3 wings (she chose Honey Barbecue flavor), 2 potato skins, 2 chicken tenders, and 3 mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, her entree was a Club sandwich with a side, she picked their House salad as well. The dressings we picked were Ranch, Bleu cheese and Raspberry Vinaigrette. All are supposed to be made in house. The kitchen didn't have the ingredients they needed for the Raspberry Vinaigrette, so we just had the other two. The Ranch was tasty, albeit a bit thinner than I like. I don't think I received any Bleu cheese dressing, because I didn't have any chunks of the cheese in the dressing, but it was still delicious. My order of wings were fried a little too hard for my liking, and usually are tossed in a Parmesan butter sauce for this recipe, but not here. Here the wings are just dusted with the cheese. My Sweet potato fries were excellent and so was the House salad. All of the ingredients were chopped nicely, and my request for Romaine lettuce instead of Iceberg was honored. Despite a few exceptions, the ambience, customer service and my Sister's company made my first visit to The House so AWESOME. I'm glad that I went with her recommendation to eat here! Overall, it was an EXCEPTIONAL dining experience, and I will be going back, because their prices are really reasonable, and the food choices were decent for a bar/restaurant. read more

The bar service is really terrible . This is not the first time. You stand at the bar for at least 20-30 mins just to get drink. It is not a first come first serve. You ask me they pick and choose who they want to serve. Tonight I stood there for 3O mins to get my food ( to go order) as well as just to get a drink. One bartender looked at me standing there and then proceeded to help the next person and I was at the bar way before she was . One thing I have to say the music very good and food . But the bar service is very very terrible and it never fail. There need to be some adjustments or maybe more bartenders to work. read more

The house is awesome, it's not a five star restaurant, or even like a very family friendly restaurant, but it does was they do very well. Divey chill vibes, good food, great drinks. They have a huge bar and lots of bar tables, everything's pretty affordable and staff are super friendly and helpful. Visted this place last night to celebrate my birthday. My sister had just flown to RDU so we decided to swing by here to have a birthday drink and grab some wings. Upon approaching the bar the bartender was extremely rude for no apparent reason. I asked to speak to the manager (Keisha) and she was worst. Sadly, my night was ruined. I am giving the House 3-stars only because of the music. I love great cover bands. Outside of that I was not impressed. The parking lot is interesting, not very well lit. The inside is older. The bar leaves much to be desired including the drinks. My first drink was mostly ice. The next drink they ran out of the wine and tried to charge us for a full glass, when she had barely a pour. Dude, this is definitely a bar to go to! It's pretty lit every day during the week. I came here on a Monday night and had a blast! They had a special on wings (.60 cents) special on pitchers (11.50) & special on margaritas (3.50). I ordered a peach pitcher and it was pretty good. I tasted no alcohol whatsoever but I don't mind because I'm not a fan on strong mixed drinks. It was karaoke night so it was hilarious. The dj played music in between performances but everyone was pretty much up and dancing around all night. I am in love & will definitely be back!! read more

I go here ALMOST every Monday night strictly for the wings. The wings here are some of the best I've ever had and I'm a foodie, so I've had my share of wings. They're crispy and just the right amount of breading. Ive tried about 4 flavors and they were all great. The service is mediocre at best. The parking is not too bad, it's in a regular parking lot. I should warn you after about 9pm it turns into a karaoke type atmosphere with loud music and lots of ppl etc. So if you're coming in for takeout it may take a while to get your food.
