The servers were totally amazing. The place is clean and big and comfortable. What I found most displeasing is that that only vegetable on their appetizer menu is edamame. So I ordered that. My husband and I visited the Keizer, OR Hops & Drops yesterday around 4ish for a late lunch, early dinner. I had been there once before and ordered the French Dip with a salad that was very, very good. However, last night my husband asked if they served a Rueben sandwich and was told that they only offer the Rueben around March. How sad!! I am writing to suggest to the Marketing Dept. that you might add the Rueben sandwich year round!! I think from a marketing standpoint that you would do fantastic offering a Rueben along with all your different beers!! I believe it would be a "revenue maker"! We have tried other Rueben sandwiches in Salem, and the only one that comes close to being ok, is the one offered at the Salem Airport Cafe. It's good, but I think you could do better! So pretty disappointed on the hops... and a fruit fly lived at my table the whole time! Having said that the staff was friendly and accommodating to any request and the steak salad although I wasn't sure about whatever brown sauce that was but I mixed it with the other sauce and dove in. Came here with a party of at least 20 last night for a co worker's 20st birthday and the hostess/waiters/manager were amazingly awesome! They provided a lot of attention to our time in an orderly, organized, and time efficient manner. They provided our 21'ner with LOTS of water and pita bread towards the end of the night LOL. Everyone was billed accurately and they were incredibly patient with getting a large party rung up. There is a TON of parking here because it's located at Keizer Station. Though, plan accordingly if there is a large party because seating at the restaurant can be a little difficult, though it worked out perfectly for us since we came towards the end of the night. Bathrooms are incredibly clean as well. The only downside would include their menu items. They're a little expensive (everything being at least $13 and above) with mediocre portions. Their drinks are at least $10, but they taste delicious! My favorite would be the Peach flavored "Drops" (10.50 each). This wy first visit and I can tell you I will be back. I was seated promptly in a comfy booth with views of two big screens,very nice. The waitress Amanda C was attentive to my every need. My food arrived but unfortunately the tater tots were a little cold so I brought it up to my server and she said she would take care of it right away! Well before my second bite of one of the best burgers I've had in awhile I had fresh hot tater tots done just right. Amanda C. double checked to make sure everything was up to my satisfaction. I looked on Yelp for a restaurant nearby for lunch pickup and I was not disappointed in the least. This might be a chain, but there is nothing remotely boring about their food. I ordered the Jalapeno, cream cheese filled burger (don't judge me I was on vacation!) and tots, because who doesn't love lots?! It is in a mall - plenty of parking, and seating, clean, friendly staff, they are like a well-oiled machine here, from front of the house to back! The burger is on toasted bread, and it was nothing short of spectacular! I told my cousin, and the next day we went inside for lunch. I would love nothing more than for them to open up a restaurant in Reno! The drinks are great, the service is great. I don't even have anything they could improve upon. The price was great too. Don't be fooled into thinking this is just another chain - go in and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed. read more

We came here because a super popular burger joint we wanted to go to was beyond busy and we were starving. We were greeted by such great people and sat at the bar. Our server came pretty quickly and was really sweet. We ordered the famous chips with garlic ranch which were pretty good. Terrible bad service you never get what you want you no wonder why you get it fast when you order your food you must be very very firm and then when you get it, double check it because it's the second time we've ordered and it's been a fuck up there's a reason they say 30 minutes and it comes in 20 minutes. The happy hour isn't the greatest but they have a good selection of appetizers. The drinks that come in ice are super cool! The Hopjacks IPA was surprisingly better than I had thought. The mozzarella sticks tasted funny. I let the waitress know and she mentioned it to the manager. The manager came over after investigating and let us know what happened. As for any new restaurant there were some problems. The burger was good. I wish I would have known the sauce was mustardy. The service was excellent. I've been very impressed with everything I've eaten at Hops & Drops. The French onion soup, the Cajun shrimp tacos (unusual combo and tasty), and the shrimp po' boy are really good. TL;DR: A pleasant place for sure but certainly spendy. Came here on a Saturday around 5pm with a friend. We sat at a booth in the bar. The staff was super friendly! Our server was over right away and was pretty attentive. We were lucky we arrived when we did because it got busy fast. The vibe is your normal sports bar- TV's everywhere, lots of food and beer. We ordered the street tacos, garlic Parmesan "wings," and the tempura zucchini. I also got a ginger ale. The ginger ale is made in house and was fine. I thought the wings and tacos were from the happy hour menu but I could be wrong. The food was decent! I could be wrong about the wings description but the chicken "wings" were actually bite sized strips. They were tasty! Just not your typical wings. The zucchini was good too, also not what I totally expected. There were large chunks of zucchini and the tempura didn't have any flavoring so we needed to add a lot of salt. The street tacos were good. However, there was definitely sticker shock. Our bill was $40! Plus tip, our three items off the happy hour menu ended up being $50! We were starving from spending the day in Brooks and needed some hot food ASAP. We ventured over to Hops n Drops and fell in love!! The wings were crispy, large, and melted in your mouth. My partner's giant jalapeño burger was almost too big to handle and my brother's western burger was cooked perfectly! Hops N Drops is a nice looking restaurant with a classic sports bar, pub ambiance. We love restaurants with outdoor seating, and we took advantage of this since it was a beautiful day. The view (street) is not that great, but we prefer being outdoors. We started out with the Caprese appetizer, and it was excellent. My girlfriend had the Gummy Bear cocktail, and it was awesome! It is a creative, unique creation which used ice as the drinking glass. Very cool! I think the restaurant even won an award for this cocktail. Unfortunately for me, there were only 3 choices of IPA on tap, and I did not prefer 2 of them. We took advantage of their Happy Hour deals, and we appreciated that their portions were quite generous. The Street Tacos and :Buffalo Wings were very good. The Garlic Fries were average and tasted like they were cooked in Chinese food oil. The Rib Tips were chewy and tasted bland without sauce. The sauce, fortunately, was good. The Rib Tips from Famous Dave's are better. Customer service was average. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. Parking was plentiful. read more
