I am not sure what happened to this location. In the past, I got chicken and sides and was very pleased with what I got. I went there today after 3 or more years because I did not know they had re-opened. The 8 piece dark meat chicken I got was bland. The crust was light beige but at least the chicken was cooked. I got 2 sides, the red beans and rice, and the macoroni and cheese. I saw the lady put them in my bag and asked if that was the medium size. She confirmed that it was. Okay, maybe i'm missing something here. I got it home, put the red beans and rice on a plate to warm it up, and got about 3 or 4 tablespoons of food! I know what happens when these types of resturants are under new leadership and the quest to save money at the cost of cutting quality and quantity. Advice to all seeing this....go to North Bend Safeway and get the Monday cheap chicken. It cost a lot less and the flavor and portions far excede what I had to deal with today!!! Pros: Food is excellent here. I must say I think their food is very fresh and delicious. The Chicken burger is one of the best I've ever had. And their chicken tenders and pieces are always good. Biscuit could be better (a little hard and not fluffy). Cajun fries are on point though. Con: The major con is definitely the wait time. Man, this place can take foreverrrrrrrrrrr. I almost brought it down to 3 stars due to the wait time but I think overall if you are patient and not starving (like I was at the time after the hike), the food is worth the wait. Pro tip: always use the coupons on the App if they match your order because those are definitely excellent deals!! Will save you a lot of money. Last time, they honored it just by me showing it on the app and I didn't even have to log in to show them the code. Service: 10/10, I walked in at a busy time where they had a bunch of online orders & people in the store. They politely told the people in line to wait a few minutes so they can fix their online orders because there were a couple of mistakes & customers were waiting. As soon as we ordered, the team went through all of our orders in the matter of minutes! They were quick, polite, and respectful, all in a time of a stress. Cleanliness: Wow! I don't know what time they closed, but I came in around 5:30 pm and the store was very cleaned. The floor was swept, counters were very clean, and the overall look of the store looked very put together. I love the middle section where they put the jars of spices. Also, they used gloves! This is the first Popeyes I've been to that I've seen actually use gloves... and also constantly was washing their hands. I saw 3 different employees wash there hands within the 10 minutes I was there. Only gross part was the bathroom- it did have a foul smell, but it's a bathroom lol. read more

They are open, the hours on here aren't updated. They no longer have a phone and any number you call routes through the TA travel center. This location has always been hit or miss, mostly a truck stop clientele. We travel a lot and it's one of our normal stops as the Shell station shares a parking lot. Service and quality has gone from bad to worse here. Today, the unsweet tea was filled with sweet tea. As diabetics, we can't drink that. I guess I should've drank it prior to leaving with our take out. Waste of money and we're done coming to this location. read more

The chicken sandwiches at popeyes is like no other! I got the classic chicken sandwich and the meat was super crispy and juicy and looked like what you'd see in a fried chicken sandwich commercial. I bit into it and steam was coming out, it was just absolutely amazing. The 3 piece chicken snack was alright but my experience with it was overshadowed by the sandwich. I also ordered it in spicy but I did not taste any hint of it. Biscuits were golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside as usual. Wish there was a popeyes location closer to home but I will always swing by here again given the chance. read more

Picture this... I'm fresh out of a hike, sweaty, wearing only a sports bra, covered in sweat and dirt. I'm with my girlfriend who is wearing a neon yellow shirt with a horribly inappropriate joke. I'm surprised they served us. I go up to the counter, somehow botch ordering a chicken sandwich and only realize when I open the bag. I go up to the older woman behind the counter to order a new sandwich, but she puts it in for free! The lady who gave me my new chicken sandwich gave me an apple pie too! She was also very LGBT friendly. Both of them made my day after such a long hike. Thank you to both the white older lady cashier and the 30s(?) friendly black woman who was handing out orders you guys are both awesome. Despite the sign on the door saying masks must be worn to enter, on a recent visit half the people inside were not wearing masks and the staff didn't seam to care. One guy was unmasked and talking really loudly on his phone. One customer asked him to put a mask on and he said "No one here cares." Another guy chimed in and said he cared and asked him to put a mask on. Things got quite heated, still the staff didn't seam to care. It was uncomfortable for all. Since it is now mandatory in WA to wear a mask, shame on this business for not caring about their employees and customers. Love that chicken from Popeyes! I wish this location was closer to Seattle but am glad I found it on the way back from the Summit. Had the spicy chicken sandwich that everyone was hyping about. It was better than other fast food places, with crispy batter and a nice kick. But I don't know why people were fighting each other after waiting hours in line...it's just chicken. My family shared a family meal and I gotta say nobody does fried chicken better than Popeyes. I'll gripe that the mashed potatoes had the weird consistency you expect from instant potatoes, the biscuits were nice and hot but lacked flavor, and the restaurant itself needed a deep clean. Service was okay, was expecting worse after reading some reviews. But overall I will definitely make it a tradition to stop here anytime I head up the pass. read more

Went here before closing and they only had 2 options: spicy chicken tenders and regular tenders. I was very dissatisfied with this because I wanted to grub on a chicken Sammy. Anyways, I order my 8 chicken tenders, surprised by them being over $20. It turns out what they call "Chicken Tenders" is actually bone-in chicken. There was not one chicken tender in my 8-piece box. However, the chicken was still smackin and ate all of it in a matter of a few minutes.
