Online ordering was simple enough. It was ready in less than 15 minutes. They place your physical order at the front in lockers. Your name unlocks the box. Very high tech and simple. We were in and out in a minute. The food was fresh and warm. I would compare the actual sandwich size to a McDonald's breakfast sandwich so I was glad I had ordered 2 for my husband. I had the fried green tomatoes with egg whites added on. The biscuits are pillowy and buttery soft and the green tomatoes crisp. Something different and indulgent. None of that dry heat or bland crust you find at some knockoff spots. Plus, the slaw and pickles on the sandwich? Game changers. They cut through the heat and balance everything out. Fries were solid too -- seasoned well, crispy, not soggy. I also tried the filthy Fries with chicken on top (because why not?), and it was a full-on meal by itself. Definitely worth the calories. I've been following Hot Motha Clucker since the car wash days and I'm so excited that they are in TO now since I live in Simi! I stopped by for lunch today and it didn't disappoint, I ordered the two tender combo medium doozy style. I love the honey with the cheese. Medium is my perfect spice level. The fries are like mc Donald's fries and the fried pickles slap with ranch dressing. Service was fast took about 10-12 minutes for my order. The place is decorated very tastefully doesn't look like your typical hot chicken bar. They also are going to start serving beer soon. read more
