Great food and fast, nice to have a great Thai place in Clarkston

I've been eating here for 4 years. They always make my Pad Thai the way I like it. Excellent service every time!

Sitting outside for the last half hour, while my husband waits inside. Thinking why so long? We ordered and came back after 30 minutes as told, now another half hour?? THEY GAVE OUR FOOD TO SOME ONE ELSE WHILE HUBBY WAITED INSIDE. Took a while to figure it out, since only one of the 7 young Asian girls speaks even marginal english. Instead of making new meals, they called the people to whom they they gave our food and had them bring it back- then handed it to us! Outrageous. Health will be notified tomorrow. I was so excited for a Thai place to open up close to my work, unfortunately I was not impressed. I tried eating there twice, thinking the first time was a fluke since they just opened, but the second time wasn't good either. Pad Thai was very very oily and not a lot of flavor. Ok...hoping this is a lesson learned for this establishment. My girls and I were sick and craving Thai but couldn't go out. As it turned out, you can order this through door dash. So we thought we'll take a chance, bad Thai would be better than none. And I have to say it was really good! It tasted like it did when they first opened! We all loved it! I LOVE this place. Don't see why their rating is so low. They have everything a normal Thai place has, but the best. I am not kidding. You know most Thai places have the same menu. But this place, they do whatever you usually get from somewhere else, better. The curries, vegetables, sauces, everything tastes so good here. Clean, fast, not a hole in the wall type joint, which is nice compared to some other restaurants for Thai in the area. Pad Thai is good

Tastes like microwave food, yuck. Atmosphere is very take-out only, bright fluorescent lighting and awkward tiny cold seating.

I've ordered takeout here twice and it's delicious. Each time I've ordered chicken pad Thai, medium spice, without tofu or peanuts. I've also had their spring rolls and they are delicious, perfectly crunchy and the chili dipping sauce is excellent. I love putting lime on my pad Thai so I would've loved more of those, but I'll remember for next time! Medium spice could've actually been spicier so I'll get hot next time. Food delivery is extremely slow for dine in customrts. 45 minutes after placing order Multiple tables of 1 or diners sitting and waiting. Even carryout customers milling around register awaiting their food . read more

I live right behind the plaza this place is located in. That being said, I order carry out from here 1-2 times a month. This is the best Thai food in Oakland county!! Pad Thai, cow pad, spring rolls, crab ragoon, lettuce wraps. It's all amazing! Spice levels are accurate on what you expect mild, medium, and hot to be. And Sometimes I prefer no spice at all. I ordered take out on a Friday night and the order was ready in 15 minutes. The Pad Thai chicken was very good and the level of spiciness was just as we ordered. This was our first visit so I was a little surprised at the higher cost as compared to other Thai restaurants. That's why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars. read more

The The fried rice with chicken was bland and not to the expectation it used to be. I ordered hot and there was zero spice. I asked for more spice and they gave me a jar of crushed red pepper. The waitress was too busy on her phone and not tending to customers and the cooking staff was asking what to put in the food for ingredients as we sat there and listened. Love eating here!! Staff is always friendly food is always great! It's great to have another option others then coney and diners.

The food is seriously delicious. Pad ped with shrimp and pad sieu with beef are our standbys. We also like the crab Rangoon. The free soup they serve you when you sit down is not very good and pretty salty. Service is mediocre. We waited 40 minutes for our food. Staff didn't apologize or anything. The food is so good that we'll keep coming back despite the wait. We just won't bring our kids:) read more

Never again!!! Got a shrimp garlic entree yesterday at 2:00 pm yesterday. Only 5 shrimp smd the entree was more of a soup.

While they are good (I love the food) the portions are smaller than the Pontiac lk location and it's more $$....I asked for extra soy sauce...she told me 1 pack..I said I'm gonna need more and she proceeded to tell me they can't do that and I'd be charged extra.... for soy sauce...Really!!?? I like the Pontiac lk one so so much better....but both places don't have a good attitude read more

Ordered dinner for my family tonight and I always get the coconut red curry. Surprised to open my to go container to a rancid smell that turned my stomach. I then called to inform them and the young lady said they've been cooking with it all night she can't give me a new one or refund me but she will give me 20% off a new meal. WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY. Really enjoyed the food! Ordered carry out. The chicken satay was just a bit dry, but the peanut sauce was spot on and one of the best I've ever tasted. The green chicken curry was spicy hot and perfect. Beef pad thai wasn't quite as spicy (ordered it spicy hot), but was very delicious. Already looking forward to my next visit. read more

I like giving local businesses a lot of chances but this one took too many. The same problem keeps happening, high turnover in cooks and slow to get food. I placed a carry out order at 6:25pm on a Thursday night. I was told only one cook on hand and he can only handle pad thai right now so it would be 40 minutes. I said okay. I called back after 35 minutes to check on order. I was told another 45 minutes. I said that's impossible, I placed my order 35 minutes ago. I told her to cancel it. read more

Just had a nice dinner. It was very well prepared and a great tasting meal! We so very happy a great Thai place is right here in Clarkston.

Have been coming here for lunch since it opened. It must be under new management or ownership because the food was not of the usual quality and the service was horrible. Friday lunch with one server and two cooks running a full restaurant. No one talked to us for 15 minutes and nobody seemed to know what they were doing. Once the server came over it smelled like she had hotboxed a pack of cigarettes before taking our order. Completely off-putting. read more

I just finished my pad Thai. It's delicious. Why only three stars you ask? Our dine in order took over a half an hour to come to our table. The service it's awful. I'm not sure where the help would be better served, the tiny open kitchen, or customer service. The food is pretty good, but it takes FOREVER to get your meal. I waited over an hour for my food which was 1 dish. The owner/chef Cooks 1 thing at a time, table by table which takes way too long and is terrible for customer satisfaction! Everyone around me was getting angry and asking what takes so long. Pad prik and pad Thai both delicious....glad they opened a 2nd location. I've dined in and carried out and enjoyed both.

Changing my previous review.... we just ordered here tonight and the food was nothing like we expected or had experienced in the past. Our first order was pad Thai extra hot... it did not have any level of spicy to it.... it shouldn't have even been categorized as something spicy. It was so disappointing! To make it even worse, the tofu was absolutely awful and tasted very old. We couldn't even eat it. Our second order was fried rice hot... again not hot at all, and honestly tasted like a totally different dish. This visit was so disappointing and I'm not sure we will be back again in the future. read more
