Hot Pink? Brings up other connotations. But hey the name gets noticed. We go into a small place - about 8 tables. We are greeted by a server who tells us to sit anywhere. He drops off the menus and gets our drinks. Lots of choices. We start with pot stickers, deep fried (not normal for us) But hot & crispy with a flavorful dipping sauce. Curry's my go to so red with pork for me. According to the chart I opt for mild. After Eating I could have gone for my usual medium. The wife got green with chicken. Lunch came in to-go containers. You're warned ahead of time, no surprises here. Bowl of rice into the curry and feast away. As I said mild heat was too mild for me. We filled up with no room for the Mango Rice, my favorite dessert. We did end up with lunch for both of us the next day. Our meals were good, nothing really stood out to compare with other like places. Not spectacular, not bad either!

First time ordering here and I really liked the fried rice!! Good flavors and not too greasy. I like the spice too nice and hot. I've tried a few different places and the fried rice is always bland but this place has good seasoning. The pot stickers were nice too with the sauce. Definitely will order again Glad I tried!

Great Thai food. Hot fresh & tasty. Friendly service. Quaint interior. Food was piping hot and all made fresh to order.

We went to Hot Pink on a Thursday night for dinner. We initially thought the restaurant was closed since there wasn't a single car in the parking spaces out front or diner in the restaurant. The owner (and sole employee) seemed completely indifferent we were patronizing the restaurant. We ordered Sprites, which came as bottles we poured into styrofoam cups. I ordered the pad Thai with tofu, mild spice. The dishes were delivered on paper plates, and after they were dropped off we did not see the server again. The pad Thai was quite bland, and my husband's pineapple fried rice was both dry and tasteless. After waiting, I needed to walk up to the window to ask for our check. The owner was watching videos on his phone and seemed unconcerned we were there. No other diners came in to dine, which absolutely made sense after we experienced the lack of service, the disposable cups and plates, and the lack of any music or atmosphere. We won't be back.

First off, I love the name of this place. Mostly because I get to see people's expressions when I recommend the place. The food is delicious and good bang for buck. We got the veg egg rolls, Vietnamese rolls, green curry fried rice (I didn't even know such a thing could exist) and a noodle dish. We got about six egg rolls which is unprecedented in the history of Asian restaurants and egg roll portion sizes. That itself amounts to a whole meal! The green curry fried rice is, in a word, a genius concept. I couldn't have timed it better because on that particular day, I was craving fried rice and also the warmth or a green curry. The Vietnamese spring rolls were well received by the husband. I wish they came with different fillings but that's alright. The husband also reported that the noodles were alright and that's high praise since he's not a big fan of Thai food. As for the spice, I got the medium level, but honestly did not feel the spice too much. Probably because it was a rice dish? One day, I am going to go for the hot level just for the heck of it!

Still dreaming of the Crab Rangoon we had here. Pad Thai was great. Tom Kha was yummy. Definitely best Thai in ABQ.

The name of the place captures your attention but doesn't do the cuisine justice. Food is delicious. Great take out!

Never disappointed whenever we ordered from here. Highly recommended #32. I wish they have their crab meat fried rice back.

Our waitress came over, took our drink order, and we ordered a couple of appetizers. We got the chicken spring rolls and chicken satay, both of which were gluten-free. My daughter, who is also gluten-free, ordered the spicy fried rice gluten-free, and my son ordered the yellow curry gluten-free. My husband had the Tom Yum soup, and my daughter-in-law had the Massaman curry. All of the food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered! For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice, which was also really good! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely go back!

With the menu board, it feels like fast food less sit down style. Service has changed as well. Now, you place your order and PAY at the counter and seat yourself. You are asked to tip before you receive service. tipping is supposed to be base on quality of service. You do receive table service once your food is ready. The menu has changed as well. We loved the jerky and sticky rice, now gone! Fish cakes is new but it was too chewy and dry with little flavor. Shrimp cocktail and dumplings were good. This was the only Thai restaurant in town that served good Thai rice noodle soup similar to pho. Sadly it's no longer the case. It was bland! Traditional beef soup included meatballs, now gone. They also charge ridiculous prices for some add-ons such as crushed peanuts $2.00 per order!! Really, for 2 ppl we could have bought a whole jar. Service ended up being good especially since we were the only patrons. I low balled the tip at time of order and ended up giving additional tip in cash. Sadly to say, it's off our list of favorite restaurant in town. Probably will not go back.

Disappointing first experience…read more Why would you call a customer and not leave a voicemail? For a first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, this was incredibly disappointing. My husband picked up an order that I had placed online. About 30 minutes after he picked it up, I noticed I had a missed call from the restaurant. The only voicemail left was essentially, "It's like a robot." Yes--that's the call screening...but why not leave an actual voicemail explaining why you were calling? Since I was still at work, I asked my husband to call the restaurant. We then learned that the main item we had paid for was never included in our order. I appreciate that you offered a refund for the missing item, but my husband specifically asked if the missing food could simply be delivered since it was the restaurant's mistake, and that request was declined. That was particularly frustrating. If the restaurant realized an item had been left out, why not clearly communicate that when calling? And if we hadn't noticed the missed call or followed up, would we ever have been notified about the missing item? Mistakes happen, but it's how a business handles those mistakes that makes a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, and instead of leaving us excited to order again, it left a very bitter taste. I hope this was an isolated incident, but better communication and customer service would have made a significant difference
