Menu appears to offer a few Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. Not quite what I would call an Asian Kitchen sink restaurant, but close. Asian kitchen sink is a restaurant that offers many different Asian cuisines despite a main focus of one cuisine. The service experience was counter service. She was friendly enough and order was accurate. I was surprised to see suggested gratuity up to 27%. More like 3.5 stars. My top 2 choices aren't open for lunch in Albuquerque.

The service was really good and the room is pretty and comfortable; prices were a tad warmer than at similar local Thai places. The drunken noodles (with pork) that I'd ordered were sweeter than I'd expected and the heat (I customarily order "New Mexico hot" which around here is shorthand for "hotter than medium but not all the way up to Thai-hot) was quite moderate. My venture to Krung was the result of my preferred place having taken the day off - it was fine, but I am not likely to rush back.

Delicious Thai food. Our server was very attentive and kind. Looks a little sketch from outside but we enjoyed dining in. I had the stir fry ginger w chicken and my guest had the pad Thai. We both drank hot tea and also tried their veggie egg rolls. The flavors were delish.

Great tasting food in a really nice place. It's not a very large place and it is designed more for takeout to include all the plates and utensils, they are disposable even for dining in. They have friendly and quick service with delicious flavors. I will be back for more. Their chicken satay was some of the best I've had in town with an amazing grilled taste.

Thursday night, thinking Thai and someplace new. So here we are. Kind of a divey, hole in the wall - next to a questionable massage parlor. Order at the counter and grab a seat. Everything comes in to go styrofoam containers.Dining on comes with a paper plate and something to eat it with. For us today it's chicken dumplings for appetizers, Panaang with pork and Red Curry with chicken as the main course. The dumplings were pot stickers with their own variety of dipping sauce. The Panaang Curry was excellent, loaded with pork & veggies in a fairly thick sauce. The Red Curry was equally excellent. Both came with white rice on the side. There was plenty of food for a good sized meal the next day. Overall an excellent meal for a reasonable price. Definitely a winner.

A delicious restaurant I was happy to find! The food was a 5/5. We tried the pad Thai with tofu and the massaman curry (spice level 2) with tofu. Krung does spice levels 1-5, with five being the hottest. The pad Thai was flavorful and savory even without additional spice. The massaman curry had a choice of protein, potatoes, bamboo, onions, peanuts, pineapple, carrots, and broccoli. The latter two ingredients aren't listed on the menu ingredients but were a welcome surprise. The spice level two is what I would consider a typical medium. The curry worked well with the many ingredients. I'll definitely be getting it again. There is only one fried rice dish on the menu, which is aptly named "fried rice" and comes with protein, celery, eggs, and onion. There are no options for the usual Thai fried rice fare of pineapple fried rice, spicy basil fried rice, etc. The restaurant has transitioned to counter service because of a lack of employees per a sign at the counter. The dishes are served in to-go containers along with a paper plate to eat on. Because of the counter service, paper plates, and limited fried rice menu, I'd give Krung a 4/5 overall. The food they do have on the menu is delicious, however, so would be perfect for a to-go option.

Our waitress came over, took our drink order, and we ordered a couple of appetizers. We got the chicken spring rolls and chicken satay, both of which were gluten-free. I didn't try the chicken satay, but I had the spring rolls, and they were really good, nice and fresh. For our meals, I ordered the gluten-free drunken noodles. My daughter, who is also gluten-free, ordered the spicy fried rice gluten-free, and my son ordered the yellow curry gluten-free. My husband had the Tom Yum soup, and my daughter-in-law had the Massaman curry. All of the food came out hot and was absolutely delicious. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered! For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice, which was also really good! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely go back!

I started with a Thai iced tea, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and creamy, and very refreshing. For an appetizer we ordered the potstickers, which came out hot and crispy with a tasty dipping sauce that paired really well with them. For my entrée I had the fried rice with tofu, and it was excellent. The rice had great flavor and texture, and the tofu was cooked nicely with a good mix of vegetables. My husband ordered another noodle soup dish that looked amazing as well--it had a flavorful beef broth, noodles, and herbs that smelled incredible. Overall, the food was delicious and the experience was really enjoyable. If you're looking for Thai food in Albuquerque, Thai Spice is definitely worth a visit. Five stars all the way!

With the menu board, it feels like fast food less sit down style. Service has changed as well. Now, you place your order and PAY at the counter and seat yourself. You are asked to tip before you receive service. tipping is supposed to be base on quality of service. You do receive table service once your food is ready. The menu has changed as well. We loved the jerky and sticky rice, now gone! Fish cakes is new but it was too chewy and dry with little flavor. Shrimp cocktail and dumplings were good. This was the only Thai restaurant in town that served good Thai rice noodle soup similar to pho. Sadly it's no longer the case. It was bland! Traditional beef soup included meatballs, now gone. They also charge ridiculous prices for some add-ons such as crushed peanuts $2.00 per order!! Really, for 2 ppl we could have bought a whole jar. Service ended up being good especially since we were the only patrons. I low balled the tip at time of order and ended up giving additional tip in cash. Sadly to say, it's off our list of favorite restaurant in town. Probably will not go back.

Absolutely loved it. The ingredients tasted so fresh , you could tell nothing was from a can or frozen. The sauce at the bottom was just to die for. Pineapple fried rice 10/10. This tied for first place, it's possibly the very best fried rice in New Mexico but it's just so close. What I loved is that they spared no expense on ingredient quality, they even used cashews rather than cheaper nuts like peanuts. Each veggie was cooked perfectly and they actually put tomato which I've never had in fried rice but man it was good! Believe it or not the pad Thai was only 5/10, not too bad; nothing to write home about. I was surprised about that since every other item blew my socks off. What might have been the worst part of the pad Thai was the regular chicken was dry and chalky. Most Thai places have thinner softer chicken they use, luckily for the other meals I had shrimp which was really good and fried chicken which was also really good I'd love to try more of their food,

I had the Pad Thai, Pad See Eww (but it's quite the opposite of eww ), the crab Rangoon, and the money bags. So my absolute favorite item was the Pad Thai, I absolutely loved it. Arguably the best in New Mexico. The Pad see eww was also the best I've had in New Mexico. Neither compared to big city Thai food, but they were close! The crab Rangoon was the best crab Rangoon I've had in a long time, in any city. The way they wrapped it was clever, you could taste the cream cheese filling as you bite, it was great. The money bags was fine, the sauce was too watery I think that came with it which made the flavor run off of it quickly. Huge star bonus for their to go containers not being cancer causing styrofoam. For this alone I stopped ordering from other Thai places in town. Many states have banned styrofoam, it's very very bad, I'm so glad they don't use it.
