Placed an order for pick-up through their website and it was a pretty straightforward system! My food was ready in 20 minutes and the restaurant is located on a street lined with other restaurants. They have outdoor and indoor seating and the restaurant was really nice! It had a great ambiance from my short stop inside. I ordered chicken pho and it was nice although it wasn't as flavorful or aromatic as other phos I've tried. I added the sriracha and hoisin and that added to the flavor! Such a cool little spot! Seems like a hole in the wall from the outside but very nice on the inside. Food was delicious and service timely. It is located downtown so not far from my office. Decided to try it out. When you walk i. Your eyes will have to adjust. While on the dark side, it seems very clean. Lots of people here for lunch. When I've been there in the past (which hasn't been in quite awhile), the food was really good. The menu is full of different noodle bowls and soups inspired by a variety of east and southeast Asian countries. I've had the Singapore bowl, which was very delicious and creamy. I've had a couple other kinds that were very good too. A lot of the dishes are vegetarian friendly too. The portions are huge. The staff is friendly. The vibe is low lighting that makes it feel pretty cozy and also have a downtown sort of atmosphere. I came to Asian Noodle Bar for the first time since pre-COVID and I was pleasantly surprised. I will note that they no longer have sushi on the menu, which is quite sad. They also only have updated prices if you scan the QR code and not on the print menu. I always worry that if I order something without seeing the price it's gonna be way more than I expected and I'm gonna be upset. However, their prices are very reasonable. I ordered the spicy sesame noodles, which came with thick and delightful udon with lots of veggies. I also got a Thai tea which was a little too sweet, but still good. I really enjoyed the noodles and will definitely come back for them eventually. The space is a bit small in their staff is limited, but it's definitely worth checking out. The operating hours for this spot are all over the place. But can confirm dining room closes at 6, but you can still do take out till 8. The beef pho take out was a little heavier on taste/salt than the pho my mother in law makes, but it was still delicious. May just have been I got the concentrated at bottom of the pot given how close it was to closing time. They do give a good helping of protein providing both flank steak slices and cut up meatballs. So that's always great. Chicken yakatori was done well. Chunks were big though and it could be a bit more charred, but still delicious none the less. Tried this spot a couple times for takeout over the summer. The first time I got pad thai tofu, which was excellent. Really hit the spot, great flavor, noodles traveled well. The second time I tried the drunken noodles equivalent ("spicy basil") and the pad see ew, both with tofu, and was less impressed. The pad see ew was okay but nothing remarkable, and the spicy basil wasn't really spicy or basil-y. Veggies were fine. Noodles were cooked well in both cases. The prices went up between my first and second visit - can't fault them, they were insanely low beforehand and are now on the low end of normal. Perhaps not a screaming deal anymore but fast service and they do have an option to order online. Both times I swung by I easily found parking within the block. Will I go back? Definitely! I really really want to try the mee krob, which I haven't seen on the menu anywhere else in ABQ! And I would definitely get the pad thai again, too. read more

We ordered the Pad Thai extra spicy, pork egg rolls, veggie with chicken fried rice and the Yaki Udon noodles with pork. The Pad Thai was good; the chicken was cooked well, there as a nice ratio of veggies, noodles and chicken. There could have been a bit more dimension of flavor though. I did not try the Yaki Udon, but my boyfriend finished the entire dish so it seems that he enjoyed it, however he also agreed that it need more of a depth of flavor. Went back to Asian Noodle Bar after several years and it was almost exactly how I remembered. The ambiance is calm and quiet despite being right off Central downtown. The food came out quick. I had the Singapore Curry with chicken and my partner had the House Noodle. The house noodle was not as flavorful as it used to be but the Singapore Curry was spot on. We also had chicken eggrolls which were crispy and delicious. They did come out too hot to eat but we were okay waiting since they came out so fast. My only complaint was they had no prices on the menu. Not sure if we came at an odd time when they were updating them but ordering without that information made me a little uneasy. Fantastic! Loved this place. Hole in the wall serving up some EPIC food. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Albaquerque (did I spell that right?) Huge portions. Very low reasonable prices. The bowls of noodles we got not only knocked it out of the ballpark with flavor, but the sheer size of the bowl and the amount of noodles and meat jammed in there was staggering. At about $9 a bowl this establishment mocks 95% of other restaurants in what can be done and offered. My first time back was with my two vegan friends. They were VERY accommodating. So much so that they assumed I, too, was vegan, and gave me tofu instead of chicken. But it was delivery and I don't mind tofu. I was more appreciative of their mindfulness. So flying solo last week I ordered the Laad Nah with beef. Lordy. I would love to give them a great riviera as everyone I know loves this place, however we never actually got to try the food. When we sat we mentioned that we had show tickets so we were in a it of a rush, and they said not a problem at all. After 50 min we still did not have food so we asked if they just pack out food to-go. After checking we were told that our food was next to be started. They had still not even started our food. I guess I'll return to try it out when I have more than an hour to wait for them to start cooking our food. Just went there for the first time today, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover yet another tasty option for dining downtown! Partner and I rolled up right at 12:30, and the place was pretty packed, which made me a bit nervous, but no matter, we were seated right away. One word of caution--the acoustics in the place do nothing to muffle noise so it's pretty loud. I can imagine at night the din is pretty earsplitting, so I don't know if I'd want to go there for a date. A very nice man came and took our orders and got us drinks, and then our waitress came by to take our orders. She was friendly, though the tablet she was using to place the orders seemed to be giving her some issues. We ordered a yellowtail maki roll to split, and I got the Kung Pao shrimp, and partner got the Spicy Basil noodles with beef. The maki hit the table first, and we didn't wait very long for it. It was a decently large roll with a generous amount of yellowtail in it. The rice was not as well seasoned as most other sushi I've had but it was still very enjoyable. Presently our orders came, and here was the only real hiccup. Though my partner had ordered the Spicy Basil with beef, they delivered a Kung Pao beef to him. Not a big deal, they realized their mistake and remade the dish right away with no grumbling or other sassiness. His dish looked good, though I didn't sample it myself, and he enjoyed it. I really enjoyed my Kung Pao bowl--it was a generous amount of vegetables (and a somewhat less generous amount of shrimp, but that's not exactly surprising) and they were cooked perfectly. The vegetables were beautifully tender-crisp, not mushy at all, and the shrimp were tender and tasty. This was served over rice and was a filling and delicious lunch. There was the aroma of a pretty distinctive spice in the dish that I couldn't place but I enjoyed it a lot. Also enjoyable is the fact that it was not greasy or heavy at all. Staff there seems to work as a team, which is just fine with me. I don't believe we saw the woman who had initially helped us again, but we had everything we need and the check was dropped off promptly. All told, we spent around a half an hour there, which is impressively fast service during the lunch rush with a starter and two entrees, especially since one of the entrees had to be remade. Definitely not the cheapest option, but I didn't feel that it was overpriced at all. Very enjoyable, we will be back. read more

Miso soup was a generous portion for $1.95 The best part was how the saki was served at the correct temperature, rare in a southwestern Japanese restaurant. Great hours too, open late and through the 2-5pm lull as well. A welcome oasis in downtown Albuquerque. I have found service to vary depending on how busy they are but it's always worth the wait! Today my server, Vanessa was very attentive and helpful! The Spider roll was good, however a bit too tempura rich for my taste, and the sauce a little too sweet.
