I've only been here once, but my girlfriend likes this place. We were seated pretty quickly and service was very attentive. Nice cute decor all over. My girlfriend loves massaman curry and she always enjoys it here. I had the Pad Sew-Ewe noodles and they tasted like any other average pad sew-ewe I've had in the past. My only gripe is the portion size was really small for what you're paying for. I felt like I was literally waiting on my girlfriend to finish eating for more than half the time we were sat there because I was done eating that fast. For me its a 3.5 rounded up to 4. Service is 5 out of 5, but flavor and portion size is what brought it down.

We were looking for a something warm for a crisp night. Decided to have some Thai. We were greeted almost immediately after we entered. Drink order taken not long after being seated. I decided on the peanut curry with mild spice level (I can be a weenie) and chicken. My husband can be picky when it comes to his drink and if it is filled frequently. No issues there. His drink was kept full. My Thai tea was creamy without being too sweet or bitter (perfect IMO). The peanut curry was very flavorful. Serving size was typical NM...big! So had plenty to take home for continued enjoyment.

Delightful food, great company....gotta say that....we're with family relaxing.....beers, wine....oh so fine

We usually pick up n take home, as we did tonight. Chicken Pa' nang w/ Jazmine rice, and Sweet n sour chicken w/ Jazmine rice with pot stickers. Always delightful to eat here or take home after a loooog day! Eating out can be eventful, and spendy, so why not, relax and enjoy consistency too. Never had a bad dish!!! If you're...out on the town for the evening, want to nosh before a movie...or(?) come sit n enjoy quiet ambiance, great fare and pleasent repertee with family and/or friends. Moderately priced, always great food, with quaint atmosphere, just right for eating a nice meal, or picking up to wisk home to wind down for the evening. Everyone is kind n friendly and attentive, to make your visit memorable.

On Saturday's they only do the dinner menu at lunch. I had to order a huge bowl of rice soup with tofu, instead of the little one that normally comes with lunch. My daughter enjoyed her Tom kha soup with tofu. I also had an order of low mein noodles with veggies, and mild sauce. It was good as ever with lots of broccoli and carrots. Our service was great and we got our ice tea refilled. I really like the convenience of this place on Alameda where I travel often and parking is plentiful.

Family ate here recently on a saturday night after craving Thai food. They were pretty busy & packed. We weren't greeted up front for about 5 minutes. Finally the hostess/owner? came by & asked if we put our name on the waiting list clipboard on the bar counter yet (wasn't aware that there was a list to put our names to when walking in). We put our names on the list & were seated about 10 minutes later. The place is nicely decorated with a Thai rickshaw in the center of the restaurant and a cool Thai door along the back wall. The place was packed, busy, and had a cool energetic vibe. Our waiter came to our table quickly & took our drink orders. We ordered the chicken satay, chicken pad thai, chicken tom kah soup, chicken pad see-ewe, and beef thai fried rice. All the dishes were good - tasted like we were used to when eating at Thai restaurants in the major cities that we've lived in. The pad see-ewe is usually my favorite dish. Here, it was good and almost tasted like what I was used to but I felt it could have used a little more of the sauce & a lil stronger flavor. It was close to what I've had in the past. The service was great throughout except at the very end of the meal near closing time when they checked up on us a little less frequently & were late in getting our drinks refilled - but they apologized after seeing our empty cups & topped us off. I recommend stopping by and trying this restaurant, We will be back.

I'm a huge fan of bold, spicy and zesty dishes, Thai Kitchen has it all! The food was authentic and delicious! We started off with some shrimp spring rolls and peanut sauce and for our entree, my wife ordered the combination fried rice with chicken, beef and pork, and I had the green curry with medium plus spice, which was delicious but right to the point of being a little too spicy however, it was very enjoyable. The service was great with lots of recommendations from the waiter, and also some of the patrons who gave us their opinions on their favorite dishes as we waited to be seated. Inside the restaurant was very nice and inviting, along with authentic decor, highly recommend you all try it out!

Tuesday. 5/13/2025. It's ALWAYS an enjoyable outing at Thai Kitchen restaurant in Albuquerque NM! Staff is welcoming & appreciative of your business. They seem to have a robust Takeout option, also! Say, "Hello", to Ms. "Jee"! when you go! Five Star Visit!

I've been to this strip mall area for many times now but never had time to try the food at Thai Kitchen until very recently. I happened to be in the area in mid afternoon and was hungry for last minute lunch around 20 min before 3pm...so I stopped by Thai Kitchen. I got a Pad See Ew (with tofu) and an iced tea. I think they were short staffed, so please be kind and patient with them (order and pay at a counter as you walk in and find a place to sit!). The food tasted great! I'm Thai and usually don't really go for Pad See Ew (I just typically don't prefer wide rice noodles rish). However, this time, I was in for a pleasant surprise and it really hit the spot for me! I cleaned the plate...and nothing was left! The Thai iced tea was so great, too! I guess I had been missing Thai dishes so much! P.S. I was slightly disappointed that in the menu, they said the lunch specials ran until 3pm...but...when I got to the restaurant 20 min before 3pm..they said they no longer offered lunch specials, so it would just be a dinner price. Fine..higher price..but I wished they could still honor it. Otherwise..food tasted great and the staff was actually nice!

I started with a Thai iced tea, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and creamy, and very refreshing. For an appetizer we ordered the potstickers, which came out hot and crispy with a tasty dipping sauce that paired really well with them. For my entrée I had the fried rice with tofu, and it was excellent. The rice had great flavor and texture, and the tofu was cooked nicely with a good mix of vegetables. My husband ordered another noodle soup dish that looked amazing as well--it had a flavorful beef broth, noodles, and herbs that smelled incredible. Overall, the food was delicious and the experience was really enjoyable. If you're looking for Thai food in Albuquerque, Thai Spice is definitely worth a visit. Five stars all the way!

The pad Thai had a little sweet too but not too much, just enough to really make all the other flavors come home. I have very rarely had a better pad Thai than this anywhere. It is a contender for every some of LA's best Thai food. The drunken noodles / pad see ew. Is good, really good actually. Not quite the same sentiment as the other two but I thought it was great and I would definitely be willing to eat it again. The only criticism I have is I wish their phone customer service wasn't on the weird side. I called and the lady first told me they don't have delivery, I asked her directly and said "not even on Uber Eats or DoorDash? Then she said maybe our website might have an option, so I went on there, it was some unknown third party company I never heard of. I was a little hesitant to put my card on it but I really wanted to try Thai spice so I took the chance, Sure enough the driver arrived on time; food was hot, and I enjoyed my experience. Hopefully their employees learn what they are able to do so the next customer doesn't walk away.

You are asked to tip before you receive service. tipping is supposed to be base on quality of service. You do receive table service once your food is ready. The menu has changed as well. We loved the jerky and sticky rice, now gone! Fish cakes is new but it was too chewy and dry with little flavor. Shrimp cocktail and dumplings were good. This was the only Thai restaurant in town that served good Thai rice noodle soup similar to pho. Sadly it's no longer the case. It was bland! Traditional beef soup included meatballs, now gone. They also charge ridiculous prices for some add-ons such as crushed peanuts $2.00 per order!! Really, for 2 ppl we could have bought a whole jar. Service ended up being good especially since we were the only patrons. I low balled the tip at time of order and ended up giving additional tip in cash. What I loved is that they spared no expense on ingredient quality, they even used cashews rather than cheaper nuts like peanuts. Each veggie was cooked perfectly and they actually put tomato which I've never had in fried rice but man it was good! Believe it or not the pad Thai was only 5/10, not too bad; nothing to write home about. I was surprised about that since every other item blew my socks off. For the price, you would expect much higher quality food. However, when every dish cost $21 after tax, it is definitely not worth the price. Most of the dishes are dripping with oil. For example, some of the noodle and curry dishes are literally sitting in a tub of oil. The orange chicken uses frozen, perfectly cubed pieces of chicken. I wish they used the actual pieces of chicken, again as the price you pay does not attest to the quality. Red curry is ok but the flavor is very mild. Chicken satay is quite dry and needs all the sauce it can get. Sticky rice mango is a pitiful portion for the price. They even promote fraudulent advertising by showing a giant portion of sticky rice mango with an entire mango on their menu, however, the portion you get is less than half of one mango. It is extremely fraudulent/false advertising. Another issue overall is that the restaurant adds a 3% credit card surcharge. They have signs in the restaurant stating that the credit card companies are charging the customers this extra surcharge. This is again patently false. Credit card companies charge a surcharge to businesses who wish to accept credit cards. This is a normal cost of doing business, and this should definitely not be passed on to the customers as the prices at this restaurant are already at an all-time high. Also, as other reviewers have pointed out, apparently the restaurant charges this on debit cards as well, which is again, entirely fraudulent as debit cards do not charge any transactional fees. Lastly and probably the biggest issue is when they miss items in your order. For example, at the restaurant, I ordered a dessert along with my meal. At the end, it was discovered that the dessert never actually arrived, however, I was charged for it. The restaurant refunded the dessert, however, they only refunded the amount prior to the 3% credit card surcharge that they charged me. This means, the restaurant did not refund the extra 3% That they charged me originally for the dessert! They got to keep an extra 3% of money for intentionally messing up an order which again is fraudulent. This is something that will have to be filed with the FTC as who knows how many others they have scammed out of 3% in the past. Overall, I would highly suggest avoiding this restaurant due to the food quality being poor, the prices being quite high, the extra credit/debit card surcharges, and the fraudulent activity if the restaurant has to provide a refund.
