    CUBANO PANINI
    Robb T.

Paninis the size of your head? Yes please! If you've been to Subway, you know the drill, except there are no bread choices other than regular bread or the small size only gluten free (it's not like Subway breads were THAT different, amirite?!). Pick from their menu, or pick your own adventure, or a mix of both. The first two times I went to Hot Table, I ordered their Black and Blue Panini - shaved steak, blue cheese, and crispy onions, who am I to resist? The 1st time I ordered the large, because I'm self destructive like that, and it clobbered me! Unless you're a competitive eater, a linebacker, or a bottomless void, the large size is unnecessary for most people. I got the medium on the 2nd trip and was satisfied. As good as it is, I personally can't justify spending $10 on just the sandwich when that could be a meal in other places, so it quickly fell out of our lunch place rotation. Our 3rd trip was on a whim and I decided to get something new - the Cubano, which has pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard and pickles (I added green peppers and tomato). I wanted so badly to like it, but the pork was flavorless and the sandwich was overpowered by mustard and pickles. Maybe it's because the worker was new (she had to redo the sandwich because she was using regular mustard) and maybe she accidentally used too much, but I wouldn't try it again and neither should you. Decent place for a quick bite to eat, make sure to make wise choices!

i've been to Hot Table a few times and it's always been a great experience. the staff is kind and the panini's are AMAZING!!! I love the Glastonbury location, it's in a plaza so parking isn't an issue and it's super clean. the prices may be a little on the higher side but honestly, I think it's worth it given the sizes of their Panini's, and the way they BURST with flavor!! the pesto chicken is my personal favorite and i don't think you can go wrong with ordering it! i absolutely recommend!

CHEESE STEAK PANINI Added mushrooms, pickles, onions, chipotle Mayo, blue cheese

First time here and it won't be my last. Originally going in I thought just another sandwich place but I was pleasantly surprised! They have 3 sizes, I ordered the medium steak and cheese which comes with your typical shaved steak, cheese, onions, peppers, but the best part is you get to add whatever other toppings you want for no additional charge. I added mushrooms, chipotle Mayo, olives, pickles, and blue cheese. The sandwich was delicious!! The staff was friendly and they gave a fair amount of ingredients. I was very satisfied after eating the medium, I couldn't imagine getting a large unless I was sharing. Im looking forward to coming back and trying their other sandwiches and possibly even a salad! If you're looking for a quick and yummy bite this is the place to go!

I stopped by and took out a couple of paninis. It was ready within 5 minutes. I went for the pesto chicken and the buffalo chicken ones. Both tasted very good. I liked the pesto chicken slightly more.

CHICKEN PESTO PANINI (loaded with extra toppings)

Hot Table is an absolute favorite for lunch! They have lots of great paninis for anyones tastebuds, but the chicken pesto panini is my go-to. Between the pesto Mayo and salty salami, it is full of flavor. Even still, I love to load it up with extra toppings for more punch. The sandwich makers are always very generous with the toppings, and they always grill the panini to perfection, never over or under done. Most importantly, I appreciate that they have a great system for handling gluten free orders so I can bring my work wife with me :)

Very tasty! Came in for a quick bite on our way out of town. The staff was very helpful and could tell we had not been there before. It did not hit me that the toppings were not an additional charge until the end. I got the steak and cheese add mushrooms. I wanted pickles and chipotle mayonnaise on the side which was not a problem at all. The price was reasonable for the both of us with 2 chips and one drink to share. We tried the raspberry lemonade which was satisfying. It balanced out the spicy flavors added to our steak and cheese. My only complaint was that the sandwich was loaded with cheese. Next time I would ask for less. Overall great place.

Always a must when in Glastonbury!! CT doesn't seem to have any other panini places (or at least that I can find) and this one is amazing!! I love that you can create your own with as much of anything (meats, cheeses, vegetables) all for the same price. I'm always sure to order a large so I can take the rest home.

Happened to grab some late lunch on lazy afternoon...at first sight it was more than the expected. It's pretty simple choose your bread size( S,M,L) sauce, veggies, protein and cheese from a wide assortment....and have it grilled to perfection or to make matters more simple just pick one from the pre fixed menu.Although the sandwiches are really good, they are a bit too greasy. I paired mine with a tomato soup (supper chunky). And remember kids eat free on Saturdays ... Pretty neat deal, kids meal is almost 7$. I The restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. love sitting by the fire mantle...real cozy.

Black and blue: roast beef and blue cheese with onion crisps
    Jeff H.

I came back here after a yelp elite event and the paninis are still as good as I remembered. Perfectly crispy on both sides with deliciously melting cheese. I got a black and blue, which is a panini with steak, blue cheese, American cheese, and mayo. It sounds plain, but the tanginess of the blue cheese and the steak make a great combination. My wife was really glad that we were able to customize our sandwiches however we wanted. They were definitely not stingy with toppings and even checked make sure she had enough bacon. Gasp! Try finding to say that at subway. The hibiscus cooler was as delicious as it was when I last had it. Not too sweet, with a light hibiscus flavor. Overall, really love this place. Surprised that it's not a chain and wished there was a place closer to where we're going to move to.

We placed orders for 12 of us over the phone today, we went to pick up the goods around an hour later. I got their Italian Sandwich this time. Previously I've had several of the salads. I think collectively my office has had their entire menu. From sandwiches, to salads, to pizzas, to lasagna and more. Every single meal has always been super fresh, where all you can hear is "mmmmmMmmmms..." My lunch was served on a freshly baked Italian hoagie roll, filled with roasted peppers, ham, tomatoes, mixed greens, capicola and provolone cheese. In addition to each and every single ingredient being super fresh, this was also a very large portion. I could have easily shared the other half with someone else, had it on another day or ate it right after the first portion... which one did I do? I always thought the concept was pretty cool and I headed in fully intending on ordering the Phorito but I saw Al pastor tacos and the plethora of fresh toppings so I had to try those. My daughter got the original pho on the children's menu and we shared the nachos with queso. I also got a lime margarita and my daughter got a mango boba tea. I'm not kidding when I say the total came to 50$. I was so shocked since I'm used to spending at least 75 when the two of us go out. I tried my daughter's pho and the flavor was definitely there. The tacos were amazing. So so good. The set up is like chipotle. The toppings I chose were sour cream, hot sauce, fresh jalapeños, cilantro, radish, and red onion. There's also a fire chilli sauce that I got a side of over by the plasticware and napkins. Elevated the tacos even more. Chefs kiss! I will be back to try the infamous Phorrito and the only reason I knocked a star was because the rice and beans were not that great as a side. Everything else was fabulous!

With whole foods no longer doing sushi made to order, that leaves only main gugh, sakura garden, and tisumi sushi as driving distance sushi places. Not anymore, poke don is now in the area and they are pretty good! The setup is similar to their manchester location. you got a sparse dining area and a cafeteria style long desk to do your ordering. you pay for your bowl, and the person follows you along to help you design and make your bowl. The panels behind the station tell you what you can add at that station, and the server will follow you along the entire way, adding whatever you want to your bowl. By the end, you got a rice bowl with all the flavors you could want and then some. I usually opt for salmon and tuna, with sushi rice, edamame, onions, crispy onions, crispy garlic, a scoop of kani salad, a scoop of spicy crab, and a drizzle of eel sauce over everything. I sometimes mix up the veggies or the sauces, but that's my base. The rice is cooked well, sometimes they don't season the rice well enough, but it still comes out okay. the portions are fairly big, especially if you ask for extra veggies. the spicy sauces have a little zing to them, but not really hot. The price is actually pretty good too. for the price of a specialty sushi roll, you get a big bowl of sushi with all the same flavors. It's not amazing quality, they do stumble on their flavors sometimes. but it's pretty good for pretty cheap, and sometimes you just want a lot of something that's pretty good.

I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things.
