Fast service. Got the mushroom steak melt, not enough cheese and would go without the A1 next time but it was a gigantic wrap full of steak for less than $10. Essentially 2 meals. They have a frequent visit card so you get something free at 10 visits I think. Will definitely be back. read more

I originally walked in not entirely sure what to expect. That didn't last long as a very friendly person behind the counter immediately greeted me. She must have seen the uncertain look on my face and asked if I had been there before and then explained how it worked (pricing based on size of panini roll, not on ingredients). After spending some time reviewing the options, I ordered the black and blue (steak and blue cheese). Once the basics were on, the staff person noted that I could continue customizing if I so wanted. I added a couple of veggies and it was perfect. Since this is a panini, there is a short wait as the sandwich is grilled, but it was a pleasant wait with light music and the rest of the cheerful staff helping other customers. Really enjoyable experience because of the great customer service, fresh ingredients, and overall delicious sandwich. I was so impressed that I went back a month later (same great experience) and will continue to frequent. read more

Hot Table is a cross between Panera and Subway but with fresh ingredients. You can either choose to make your own panini or select from their careful crafted options, all made fresh in front of you. If you want a panini, you can select from small, medium and large and then choose what ingredients you want the Panini Artists (Hot Table employee) to use. After your sandwich is cooked on a panini press and served. They have lots of great juice blends to choose from in addition to fountain drinks. If you don't want a panini you can get soup or a made to order salad. There are fresh cookies and bagged chips. They also have gluten free bread! This is a great alternative to the mass produced Panera sandwiches that offer very little in customization and Subway in which their sandwiches don't truly resemble a panini. One recommendation would be to have more original sauce options and make your own homemade chips. read more

Had a great panini here today. They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of yummy fresh veggies to choose from. There are 3 different size paninis and you can pick between your choice of bread. They also have some soup and salad options. This is a very convenient location on main street with a decent amount of seating. Even at lunch time when it was busy, there were enough tables. My 5 year old grand daughter wanted to go there for the grilled cheese. My first time there. It's a glorified Sub Way. I had to wait in line & look around people to see what the food was like. Decided on Tuna. It looked dry-like tuna with out mayo mixed in. Second choice: chicken parm. Cant go wrong there. It was in a covered container so I couldn't see it. So when the guy scooped out the shredded chicken & plopped in on a roll, I knew I was in trouble. Never had a shredded chicken parm sandwich before. Not the way it should be. I went to this place for the first time last week. We were unpacking our new house and wanted to try something quick. Coming from NY where everything is expensive it was nice to see a place that had everything included in one price. You choose a size for your panini (S M or L) and then you can put anything and everything on it for the price of the size! I mean ANYTHING! I had salami, chicken, steak, 3 kinds of cheese, fresh mozz, american and provolone. I had the best pesto sauce I have ever had! And I was also able to add all my favorite toppings including fresh mushrooms and basil. The staff couldn't have been nicer! I will be back soon! Loved it!!! read more

I have only had one thing here on 2 different occasions which was a grilled wrap with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, red onion, fresh mozz, and tomato with tomato pesto and it was amazing! The cookies are huge and look so good but havent had one. Will try one next time I go. As for one of the reviewers being offended by the Bible on the mantle, I don't see why. I didn't find it offensive at all. Chinese restaurants sometimes have Buddah, Indian Restaurants sometimes have pictures and statues of Hindu Gods. If a Christian wants to display a Bible in their establishment that is their right. The restaurant is clean and spacious and the staff here is very friendly and helpful. Combining that with delicious food gives it 5 stars in my book. read more

I order online and customize my salad at least 3 times per week. It's always ready and I'm always greeted with "Hi Wendy" (in a nice way, not an obnoxious "Welcome to Moe's way) every time I walk in. The food is fresh and if you like salads they have some great toppings like roasted mushrooms and shredded fresh parmesan. Don't forget double punch Tuesday for Loyalty cards. Well alright! Me and the fam stopped by this spot on a whim looking for a quick and tasty dinner after working out. Going with fried food after that just wouldn't be right. We hit the nail on the head this time. Hot Table Panini is like a cross between a Subway and Panera, but in the best ways. They have the same type of menu essentially: salad, soup, sandwiches, and desserts. The choice list is extensive so there's definitely something for everyone. I got the Chicken Cuban on ciabatta bread and they didn't skimp on the fillings, not even a little. Not only was there plenty of chicken and ham on this, but both were obviously fresh and the quality was good. The bread itself had a nice crunch on the outside (from the panini press of course) and was of a decent size. I got a my sandwich medium-sized and it filled me up quick! So the food quality was similar to that of a Panera. But the sandwich was prepared right in front of me a la Subway, giving me the ability to swap cheeses, add a little extra mustard, and pick my veggies on the fly. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable also; closer to Subway than Panera. This what I imagine a merger between the two would look like. My wife got a salad and she was also very pleased with it. The large was too much for her to finish. I eyed the dessert case on the way in and I'll definitely be grabbing an Oreo Bar on my next visit (which will be soon - they have a loyalty card ). Last but not least, the customer service was pretty awesome too. I didn't feel rushed and the staff behind the counter were more than willing to help a newcomer make a solid first choice. Overall I want to give this place 4.5 stars. But that's not a choice so I'll round down (only because the ingredients could've been a little more flavorful. Anyways, I highly recommend. I got a chicken Parmesan panini and was really disappointed. The chicken and sauce used for the sandwich was low quality and tasted awful. It was cubed processed chicken with no flavor at all and the sauce was terrible. As soon as I saw it being made I wanted to tell them to stop making it. I think a different basic sandwich with cold cuts may be good there, but I definitely won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Literally the worst! I just over paid for a piece of bread with three small tears of basil, and 6 small pieces of mozzarella (each a size of a qaurter) They call this the "caprese." The panini was literally all bread and it wasn't even grilled through to make the cheese warm. We paid 27$ for two large paninis, two small bags of chips, and two drinks. We realized the soda fountain was all water, and the staff could not figure out how to fix the fountain (while they were letting other customers still buy fountain drinks after us). A woman spilled a soda by the front door and the manager allowed soda and ice to sit right by the entrance while he was staring at the soda fountain. Meanwhile multiple customers came through front entrance with no warning of the spill including a pregnant woman and a senior citizen. My husband moved the "wet sign" from in front of trash can to actually over top of the spill! They didn't even pick up all the ice. I am astonished that this establishment is even standing. read more

Hot Table in Glastonbury, CT is a very good location for paninis and sandwiches. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend as a good place to grab lunch. The place seems clean, the servers are friendly, and the food will keep you full (even the small portions). However, there are two main problems with this place. The first is the cost. A large panini now costs around $11, which I think could be improved. The second is the speed. This place is extraordinarily slow, especially during busy times. If you visit during lunch hour and there are many people waiting in line, expect to be waiting for upwards of 20-30 minutes. This place is great, but they could try and speed it up a little. read more
