On a work trip where I really only sleep in the hotel so I opted for something a little cheaper. I dealt with a gentlemen on arrival for check in, he was strictly business, cold and almost rude. One night during this stay there was a different gentleman who sat on the north end of the reception counter vs the other who sat on the south end. This employee was what every company needs, he was passionate about the service he provided, incredibly pleasant and went above and beyond with the people in line ahead of me and treated me exactly the same. I wish I knew his name but you will know who I'm talking about the minute you meet him. The hotel itself has recently been fully renovated. New carpet, paint, microwave, mini fridge, Keurig style coffee machine, new mattress, above average art. They do have soap, shampoo and lotion dispensers mounted on the walls in the shower and by the sink in the bathroom. Those were very low quality and I could not get them to work and was afraid of breaking them. Overall it was above the expectations for a lower priced stay and I would stay again, just remember to bring your own toiletries. read more

My wife and i rented a room for 3 nights and as we were driving up from San Diego, we thought about the fires and called The Hatch to make reservations and she warned us the air quality was hazardous so we turned around. The following day and through the weekend, Paso had the worst air quality in the world at 453 it was hazardous, stay inside, no athletic activities. It was dangerous. We spoke with Norm and we canceled the weekend. My buddy, who was also staying at the hotel, called me to say he got a refund. So, we call Norm and he puts us down for a room and says he has to speak with his boss and he would call me back Monday. He sounded so certain we'd be able to stay, he booked the nights for us. Fast forward to today, we drive 5.5 hours from San Diego, and Norm says, oh yea, i forgot to tell you, my boss said no. No call, no room, and I'm out over 500 bucks. And the best part was when the people next door began with slamming the door, playing loud music and screaming. No night clerk was available to address this. I did not experience any rudeness and front desk was very clear that the office closed at 10PM. The one thing i wish it had was more natural light in the rooms. While the rooms were relatively comfortable, the front desk worker, Daniel, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was very condescending and humiliated my mom in front of other guests. I stayed with my husband the first night and my parents were staying there the next night under my reservation. While this should have been communicated up front by me, Daniel had no issue giving my dad a key, despite him not being listed under my reservation (different last name also). When my mom went to ask for a key for herself later that day (my dad was showering and my mom was essentially locked out), Daniel refused to even listen to her and spoke to her extremely rude stating she was unable to get a key due to strict 'hotel policy,' despite him literally handing one over to my dad hours earlier. He threatened my parents and later me, when he called my phone practically yelling at me over the situation. After explaining to him that he clearly broke their strict 'policy' with my dad, then proceeded to humiliate my mom, he spoke to me so astonishingly rude, threatened to kick my parents out and/ or call the police, then proceeded to hang up on me. I pride myself in being reasonable and rational, often giving people the benefit of the doubt, but my mom and i can both honestly say we have never been spoken to or treated the way we were at Hotel Siri by Daniel. Pretty standard hotel. Nothing special, but was very clean which is most important to me. Check in process was smooth and easy. Not very central to downtown paso. Definitely would recommend staying somewhere else if you're wanting to be within walking distance of places. For where it was though, it was worth the price. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. They provided us with a room with a TV with NO REMOTE. When I called the front office, they said they ran out of remotes and couldn't provide one for us. Stayed here this weekend. I was very happy with my stay. Wife may have made a mistake on reservation when choosing a bed type she did one but needed two but the they were able to accommodate us and didn't add an extra charge. The room was recently remodeled it appeared. It was very nice and clean. Shower was a nice walk in. Bed was comfortable I believe it was a pillow top. Pillows were standard hotel pillows. I loved the location. We were able to walk to downtown and walked back at night. The price was more then fair based on the location. Hello John, I would give zero stars if I could. First let me start off by stating the customer service that has been given to me is horrific. Norman was rude, talked over me, essentially called me a liar and told me that he doesn't have time for me. That he has work to do and he is done talking to me. When we checked out if your hotel early Sunday November 21,2021 we let the gentleman on duty know how unhappy we were. We showed him the video of how loud your door was without a soft closure on the door. It kept us awake all night with the party that was above our room. He stated he would let Norman know and have him call us. On November 23rd I called since we hadn't received a call from Norman. I was told he stepped out and they would have him contact me. Again no return call. I called again on November 30th and was told he is on a call and he would call me back. No return call, so I called on Saturday December 4th and spoke to Norman and he said he would call me back no later then Monday the 6th. Besides the door slamming all night I let him know that there was blood on the exterior of our toilet. He said he needed to get approval from you to return money back to our credit card. So I waited until December 8th and the phone rang for 10 minutes with no answer. I attempted to call this morning and that's when he said he needed to get ahold of you as you can only give a refund. Weird since that's what he was supposed to do on Saturday. He asked me to call back in a hour which I did. Norman said I had to trust him that he would forward my email to you. I'm trusting him to do so. I would appreciate a call back from you and I'm asking for at least half of my night stay to be refunded. This email was sent to the owner the beginning of December. Never responded. So much for trusting the manager Norman to ensure the owner would receive it and respond to me. read more

This is a newly renovated hotel and with that said I can also say that it was possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever had. As briefly as possible because I don't want to waste too much time on this place...we checked in, fairly quickly and efficiently. The rooms are clean, new, albeit very sparse. Basically just a bed and a TV. One of our group ran in to use the bathroom and the toilet overflowed, she ran in to the room to use the phone to call the lobby and the phone wasn't working, she ran down to the lobby to get maintenance to help and in about 5 minutes the young man came down with a plunger and handed it to us. Said the phone was working (it wasn't) and went back to the office. No mop or towels to clean the floor, and he wanted us to plunge the toilet. We all know how to plunge a toilet but when you're paying almost $300 a night for a room I expect a little different response. We went back to the lobby and asked to be moved to a new room and he told us he thought that would be OK but he'd have to check with his manager. We sat in the room, and waited, and waited, and waited...about 30 minutes. Down we go to the lobby again. The young man is gone, replaced by an older gentleman who acted like he had no idea what was going on, couldn't move us to another room and basically his response to EVERY request we made was "what do you want me to do". In the end I'm pretty sure he wanted us gone as much as we wanted to be gone. He offered a 50% refund because we'd already 'checked in' and had 'used' the room. We got a full refund back. We checked out, drove 5 minutes to the Hilton checked in, were in our room within minutes with lobby staff AND maintenance staff on duty all night! I wouldn't recommend Hotel Siri to anyone! You have so many choices in Paso and this place wouldn't even be my last choice! read more

Its fairly simple... I booked a king room with a balcony, they would only give me a double queen room or told me to leave... No price adjustment, no anything... My room was ok, phone didn't work, someone forgot to put a coffee maker in but gave you coffee. I will NEVER stay there again. The "GYM" had three machines, no windows so it was an oversized closet and 100 degrees inside! Anyone else should also think twice before staying. read more

Our recent stay at Hotel Siri started off shakily when the gentleman at the front desk took a photo copy of my driver's license. I've never stayed at a hotel that did that. The room itself was recently renovated and was clean. However, the thermostat turned off in the middle of the night and would not keep the room cool. And, the lock on balcony was completely broken and would not latch. Any inconvenience that occured during the trip was nothing in comparison to what was about to follow. The _day after_ we left, a charge for $483.44 was made to our credit card from "Brandon B" from Metapay. Then, the following day [that's a full two days after we left], ANOTHER charge for $486.72 from Metapay was made to our credit card. I'm not sure who Hotel Siri management has given access to their customer's information. But, be very careful if you choose to stay here. Watch your credit card statements and be ready to cancel your card when there are fradulent charges. read more

We picked this hotel based only on reviews and proximity to the downtown Paso Robles. It was claimed to be in the actual downtown and close to everything but in actually it was not. Our goal was to stay here and visit a few local wineries. The outside looked unremarkable like any common motel found anywhere. The price was very moderate at around $119 per night. But it was very last minute so we took it and hoped for the best. Well we checked in and crossed our fingers. But to our surprise this place was unbelievably clean and tastefully decorated. The furniture seemed all brand new, the carpet was very clean and the mattress was super comfortable. Definitely a great value for the price. The only down side was there is no breakfast nor fresh coffee anywhere around there. There was a coffee maker in the room but that is never the same as fresh brewed. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come back to Paso Robles. read more

We frequent paso often, and decided to try the SIRI hotel as it is one of Paso's newest hotel. The stay was decent for the most part but Norman seems to be very unorganized through most of the process. He lacks professionalism and yells at the guest when things aren't going his way. Check in time said 3pm however i arrived way earlier than expected around 12pm. Asked the front desk receptionist(i do not know her name. But she has long brown hair and short) if we would be able to check in our room early since i just drove 6 hours and had no where to stay till 3pm. She was absolutely RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right away she was giving attitude and was being very mean about the situation. I just calmly left my number so she can contact us if the room becomes available early. This is just the beginning of a HORRIBLE experience!!! The next morning i called the front desk to ask if we can have a late check out, now mind you... i have stayed at SOOO MANY hotels my whole life and NEVER have i been denied a late check out. So i called front desk and asked "good morning, is there anyway we can have a late check out around 12. Only an hour later, since check out is 11am" she tells me "hold on" and yells at someone and asked them "can they have a late check out" No one responded to her and she gets back on the phone and says "uhmmmmm no not today" Now this is the same receptionist from yesterday when i checked in and she gave me even more attitude over the phone. So I simply hung up the phone a proceeded about my morning getting ready to leave. Not 30 min after we hung up the phone the same receptionist from the front lobby came BANGING literally BANGING AND BANGING on my room door. Literally HARASSING us to leave. She starts yelling trying to open the door to walk in my room!!!!!!!! I am literally getting dressed at this point as she is doing all this. So she starts literally yelling at us even more to leave. She literally wanted to walk in our room grab our stuff and throw us out!!!!!!!! So unprofessional!!!!! Never in my life have I experienced something so horrible and disrespectful!!!! This hotel was wonderful! Easy to get to, ample parking. Staff greeted us at walk in and was very friendly. Automatically upgraded us for free to a king deluxe room, just because they had it available. The room was ground floor (thank goodness! I was tired of hauling heavy bags upstairs!). Super clean! Everything was fresh and crisp, boyfriend commented it smelled like a model home! This hotel is recently constructed and newly opened, so yes, fresh paint! The shower was big and spacious, and the water pressure was great! The bed was oh so comfy! I coud've hidden forever in the big squishy pillows and fluffy comforter! The room was very quiet, we slept very well! We will be back to stay here when in paso! read more

We knew we needed a place to stay in Paso as we headed south for the majority of our trip. After spending about an hour scouring the options, we settled on Hotel Siri. Located pretty close to the center of town, this Hotel is easy to miss if you don't keep your eyes peeled. It has an unassuming sign that is rather small so keep your eyes peeled. After pulling in to the ample parking lot, we entered the small lobby. They portray themselves as a boutique bargain motel, or at least that's the impression I got. There was one front desk clerk on site as we entered and he was on the phone with an online customer. There was another guest in front of us patiently waiting, us, and then another couple joined the gaggle, but he remained on the phone. It would have been nice for him just to glance up once and recognize the onlookers/paid customers. Another 5 or so minutes passed by without any acknowledgement. Finally he got off the phone, and I immediately made a remark. Something to the effect, "Well, it's about time! " He immediately apologized and got his manager who was having his lunch in the room next door. Of course the manager had a look of surprise when he entered as if he had no idea there was a line forming on the other side of the wall. Oh well, we were checked in by the 'full' manager and given our keys. We entered the our room and were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the room. Brand new carpet and you could smell it. I don't think they've been open very long by the looks of the rooms and overall premises. We asked for a king but got two twins. Not THAT big of a deal as the two of us are pretty flexible and rather not waste the time going through the whole process of getting another room and dealing with the laborious process of going to the front desk. At 200 a night, it was a satisfying stay but really think the price was a a tad high. The room was more of a 150/night experience but I guess it is the busy season in town. Overall, a positive experience and a nice stay. I'll give the front desk a pass today given their recent opening, otherwise would NOT have been a 4 star experience. read more

The hotel is just OK. It's clean, but that's about it. We splurged to get a balcony. Major mistake. 1) The balcony overlooks the parking lot and has no chairs -- not even a cheap plastic one. Oddly, the desk in the room has no chair either. 2) For a new hotel, there is no central air. The window unit is loud and sounds like a water flood when shutting off. That said, it is quite powerful. 3) The room is a decent size, but the bed is placed directly under a smoke alarm that flashes green lights. While they are not much of a nuisance during the day, at night they seem like strobe lights above your head. Not helpful when you're trying to get some rest and sleep. 4) The toiletry amenities are tiny and cheap. The soaps look like leftovers and the quality is atrocious. This is basically an updated motel with a SUPER premium price tag ($420+ for a king bed with balcony for two nights). If you're looking for a nice hotel check out Paso Robles Inn. read more

We were VERY pleased with our one night stay. The hotel looks recently updated and smells new. Our room was clean and extremly spacious. We noted on our reservation that we were going to be checking in late. Around 9:30pm, the inn keeper, Norman, called and provided us with clear directions on how to retrieve our room key and where our room was located. The office is not staffed 24 hours but they have a number you can call if you do need to contact the hotel staff afterhours. We had no issues at all accessing our room key and room on our own. The inn keeper even upgraded us to a 1 king bedroom with a balcony, which is very spacious. In sunmary, I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a clean, quiet hotel that's closer to downtown without all the amenities (no pool and gym only has a few machines). read more

My stay at Hotel Siri was the worst "hotel" experience I have ever had. Don't bother booking even if it's the last place available. It was moreso a rundown dirty motel. The "on-site supervisor, Norman," was extremely rude and did not have any basic customer service skills. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. I wish I read the prior reviews of Norman yelling at customers, which I can now see is true. Our room WREAKED of cigarette smoke. It was so toxic we could not sleep. We tried to febreeze and leave the window open, but it was unbearable. The entire motel is supposed to be non-smoking. We could not ask to switch rooms because no one answered the front desk phone, nor was there an after hours emergency line. There wasn't anyone at the front desk. We had checked in after 10 p.m. so we had to suffer for the night. We were moved to a smaller room on the second floor with a smaller bed with balcony the following day. They credited me $50 for the room downgrade, but they refused to refund or discount the first night. They told me I should have contacted them the first night with the complaint. The management here is so stupid and oblivious to claim we should have complained the first night when there was no one on site to complain to. There was even a sign outside the building stating "no vacancy." The new room wasn't even available until the following afternoon. We don't believe Norman is capable of running a hospitality business. He was not sincere in his apologies, nor did he try to accommodate us. He put the blame on us for not making the complaint the same night, as if that alone was going to make a difference. Aside from a horrible experience with the staff, the beds were uncomfortable and the sheets felt like cardboard. The towel rack was broken, and they didn't bother to fix it. We stayed 1 night at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. When we arrived to check in, the person at the front dest was very rude! I think he was the owner/mgr. He was explaining how to lock the slider to the balcony. I asked him to explain it to me one more time. Thats when he started to speak to me as if I were a child, I didn't appreciate that. We went to our room and I tried to lock the slider but I wasn't able. So I went to the front desk and asked him to explain it to me again. He said the problem with customers, that they are in a hurry to get to their room and they don't listen. Again he was very rude! I will never stay at that hotel again and they don't even serve breakfast! I would give 4 for the room, but the the person at the front desk, he was a total Jerk! He has no people skills. This place was amazing! Best stay I've had in years! It was quiet all night long except one big crash upstairs as if someone fell out of bed or missed the door to the bathroom! The room was decorated beautifully. Loved the bed and pillows. I just surrounded myself with puffiness and fell asleep like a baby. The walk-in shower was luxurious 2-3 people could fit in it. The manager was very nice to me. First time I saw a manager treat his employees with respect too. I loved every single minute of my stay! Booked a stay here but an error was made on the booking platform (either through the algorithm, user error, unclear) regarding whether the hotel accepted dogs. Upon realizing the error, I attempted for hours to get a credit or refund from the hotel either directly or through the booking platform. This hotel gave nothing but the runaround despite acknowledging no service was ever rendered. Avoided my calls and calls from the booking platform to rectify the situation. Pretty shady. At the very least, a credit could have been issued considering hundreds were paid with zero benefit given. We visit Paso frequently but will never patron this place. read more

We found hotel Siri by chance, and I'm glad we did. We used hotels.com to book the room and it was fast and easy.. once we arrived the lobby clerk was really nice and helpful, let me mention that this is a fairly new hotel only open for 2 months so far. Anyway the clerk at at the lobby made Check in simple and even accommodated is for a late check out with no extra fee. The room was really nice, cute and tasteful we even had a balcony (for an added $10).
