This place is one of my favorite restaurants in the inland empire. It is hard to find Homestyle cooking, and that's exactly what you get with Hotlanta. Their bbq ribs are super tender and you can't go wrong with these ribs. Their chicken wings are just as good as wing stop, and they have many flavors to choose from. Their Mac and cheese, collard greens, yams, and baked beans all are great sides to go with whatever you choose to eat. This place is a hidden gem in the inland empire and you truly don't find places like this very often. One more thing, you have to get their banana pudding, it is so on point and their lemonade. I was looking forward to the food all morning long. I used to always order but recently hadn't been able to. Today, 10/29/2023 I ordered over the phone and talked with a guy who was pleasant told me it would be 35mins or so. For me the food was worth the wait. I called back about 35mins after, and they told me another 15mins or so. I am still ok with waiting. I get there pay for the order and am still waiting for the food. Once it arrives out from the back, she showed me it and the fox fries were wrong. Didn't realize it when she showed me and brought it to her attention before I left and she told me that it wasn't her who took the order so she didn't want to help correct the problem. Take it from a southern girl, this place is impeccable. From the hospitality to the food, I feel like I'm right at home. Lauren is the sweetest and really caters to all of your needs. I checked this place out and yes it was empty. Their soft drinks machine was out of service but they do carry can sodas and make batches of natural juices including kool-aid. I'm very specific about my food so if I were to rate my experience overall I will give this a 8.8 out of 10. This was my first time trying Hotlanta and I'm definitely coming back. I have an unpopular opinion that Southern California has entirely too many taco/Mexican eateries; It's delicious but I definitely get tired of it because it seems like that's all we have out here, and that's what makes Hotlanta such a breath of fresh air. I found this place on DoorDash. I really wanted some soul food one night but I didn't feel like cooking. I also wanted wings. They had everything I was looking for, so naturally I ordered. They did take awhile to answer the phone, was immediately placed on hold for over 15 minutes, and there was a couple of back and forths about what I ordering. I ended up ordering a 10 piece wing with greens and and potato salad. I specifically ordered all flats and the girl who took my order said they said they had enough flats to fill my order. They failed to me that there was going to be difference size in the wings to compensate for the lack there of. So, in total, I ended up with more than amount ordered originally, so I wasn't too disappointed. The greens were unexpectedly really good. A little heavy on the garlic that day, but they were so flavorful ! I was upset that I didn't order more. Once I ran out, I was so hurt. I wish I had ordered more. That was my only regret. They were the most remembered item out of everything I ordered. The potato salad was cool. Very heavy on the garlic, but still good overall. I first decided to try Hotlanta because the line for Rasing Canes was very long when they first opened. That was a good ass desicion because it took some self persuasion to go to a place rated 3 stars. I've tried the Garlic Butter, both the BBQ ones, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian, and Teriyaki and I wasn't disappointed. The wings are cripsy, well seasoned, and moist inside. However, the service is complete crap. I saw people who came in and ordered after me who seemed like friends with the cashier who got their food couple orders before me. Also, their menu isn't the easiest to navigate and the cashier seemed very impatient when I asked her about the menu. Order was paid but when we arrived to get it, they had no ticket for it so it wasnt even started. They apologized and offered to make it but we were running late and couldnt wait.
