The worst experience ever. Jim Reade should be fired, and I am appalled at the way they conduct business. I previously bought a refrigerator off a floor sample sale where it was delivered with the handle. This summer, with a remodel I went there again and purchased a cook top and refrigerator again. Although Jim Reade neither verbally nor on my sales order wrote that the handle was not included I argued that a precedent was set. In fact it is a violation of law (Unfair and Deceptive Business Practices) as well as the Universal Commercial Code (UCC), he raised his voice and said "Get your own handle, I'm going home". It was 4:30. I asked him who he reported to and he refused to tell me. Shocked and horrified, I reached out to the other store and learned his boss is Tina Tsikisi who I called twice. After the second call she delegated it to another employee named Ed Fulop. He also said he would not provide the handle, even though it was not disclosed in any form that it was not included. What is wrong with these people? I spend nearly $10,000 and they treat customers like this? I would NEVER return and warn others, this is not a professional business. I bought a new handle for $200, I hope it was worth your reputation as I can see here isn't much to talk about. read more

This is a disreputable company. I placed an order with Jim Read for a Bosch dishwasher, requesting one for a custom panel to match my existing cabinetry. I told Jim the cut out was standard. For whatever reason, he sold me an ADA compliant dishwasher, which can't accomodate custom cabinetry to match my kitchen. I was not given a spec sheet until I requested it, after the installation, and sent to my cabinet maker. She informed me it would not match my cabinetry at all. Now he refuses to admit HIS error and replace the dishwasher. This is not over. read more

By far the worst possible service in Florida. I have seem a lot when it comes to building and lead-times particularly in an around the pandemic so all exceptions considered House of Appliances hands down has got to be saddest sack of individuals working there. Absolutely no follow through, 0 accountability and 0 effort to move things along in a professional or timely manner. Between 1-10 I would give them -100. read more

Ed was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating every step of the way. The products were delivered and installed in timely fashion and look great. If I could rate lower, I would. I'm typically a big supporter of local businesses, but in this case I have to warn folks to avoid this business. I recently purchased a high-end appliance package from House of Appliances in Juno Beach and a Sharp Microwave drawer (since they make all the drawers anyway). I'm thrilled (thus far) with my Fulgor Milano appliances, but the Sharp microwave drawer broke just 2 weeks after installation. When I contacted the staff and reported this, instead of immediately replacing my microwave, they ordered "service". When I insisted on a brand new microwave since it had not been used, I was met with numerous excuses and rude remarks. I expect a 'high end appliance store' to stand behind the appliances they sell. House of Appliances does not. The sales rep actually told me that it wasn't their fault that it broke so why should they have to pay for a replacement for me. It has now been several weeks and still nothing except an occasional text message from the rude sales rep saying he still hasn't gotten authorization from Sharp to replace my broken microwave. My kitchen designer has even called on my behalf and spoke with management and there has still been no follow up contact or action. Find a business that will stand behind what they sell and defend (instead of fight) their customers - House of Appliances doesn't know the meaning of 'customer service'. read more

Purchased a Bosch dishwasher summer of 2015. Price was competitive with what I had found online. We picked it up ourselves so can't address any delivery issues. Overall very happy with the dishwasher. 11/2018 - 3 years later & love love love the dishwasher! Haven't had a single issue with it. It's quiet and no need to pre-rinse most things. Also would definitely buy from House of appliances again. read more

I needed a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. I spoke with Jim and explained what wanted -for each appliance. He took notes, took my email and phone. I asked how long it would take for him to get back to me - that was over 1 month ago, End of story. Needless to say, I have purchased appliances somewhere else, Eight years ago, when I was new to the area, I also attempted to buy appliances there; I can't remember exactly what happened, but I never got prices then either. I had a very bad customer experience from House of Appliances. I purchased a $2800 cooktop that was supposed to be installed in 2 weeks. It was installed 6 weeks later, and only after about 40 phone calls to get them to come out. The final steps remained incomplete. After the owner and his daughter found out about the situation the job was completed to our satisfaction. read more

We picked House of Appliances because they seem to have the most on display of the high-end brands we were looking for and I really only wanted to purchase something I could see in person first. I worked with Justin at the Juno Beach store. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He made the whole process easy which was nice because doing a kitchen can be stressful. Recommend you stay away from this business. They make promises that they don't intend to keep after the sale. Be sure to get it in writing if you do deal with them. Lot's of runaround if you have a problem. Agreed to connect microwave to existing duct work as part of the price and then said that another contractor would have to do it at additional cost. Paid retail and inflated installation cost expecting to get everything done for agreed price. They are primarily a building contractor supplier and have little interest in individual homeowner purchases. read more

We ordered new kitchen appliances from the Coral Gables showroom. They delivered the wrong model refrigerator and refused to correct the situation. They would not exchange our unit for the one we ordered and paid for (a more expensive unit) nor would they refund us the difference between the two models. I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, but would caution anyone from ordering here. read more
