The moment you walk in, you're hit with the smell of fresh bread.. absolutely heavenly! I'm a little on the fence about the two separate registers (one for bread/baked goods and one for meals like breakfast or lunch menu), which felt slightly confusing & wasn't clearly obvious. It's also on the pricier side, but the portions are much larger than expected, so at least you're getting solid value. Unfortunately, their mini fridge was broken during our visit, so grab-and-go drinks weren't an option. That said, the coffee I ordered was delicious and served in an adorable mug, which was a nice touch. Food delivery took a bit longer than expected, but there's plenty of seating and we didn't feel rushed, so it wasn't a dealbreaker. Overall, great atmosphere, generous portions, and excellent coffee.. just a few operational hiccups holding it back

Super cute inside and lots of yummy treats. Went there for the cinnamon rolls amd the ham.and cheese croissant. The cinnamon rolls.are eat fresh! If you want to eat th later, they have one you can take and bake. They had som many options..I didnt know what else to try. We are going for sure to dine in next time. They also offer holiday menu. I look forward to ordering something! Not decided yet, but there is still a little time. Staff was super friendly and very prompt. Everyone was attentive and kept the line moving.

    NOT SOURDOUGH

Fingers crossed, folks. I bought a loaf of "sourdough" yesterday because I was in the area and saw the bakery. I LOVE sourdough bread. I always warm it in a wet towel in the oven after slicing. When I sliced this loaf, it looked and cut NOTHING like sourdough. It did not have ANY nooks and crannys, nor the crispy, bubbly looking exterior that is a signature look of sourdough. The loaf had NO "crust factor". This crumbled all over the cutting board, which should NOT happen with sourdough. I was very excited, before I took it out of it's bag, but now I am HIGHLY skeptical. I hope I'm wrong on all counts, so stand by for a follow up. Update Ok, update...to be fair, the bread was "ok", but DEFINITELY NOT SOURDOUGH! Maybe a wheat bread or something? Not horrible, but NOT sourdough. After reading prior reviews, I fully expect the owner to berate me and call me an idiot and tell me I didn't order sourdough. That's ok. Maybe just better training for your staff as to what product is what.

Always on the lookout for a cute coffee spot, and House of Bread definitely hits the mark. There's a ton of variety between the various pastries, sandwiches, and deserts--and a good selection of coffee. Their iced coffee is very good, and my grinder sandwich tasted great. All of the veggies and meat were so fresh tasting. Super friendly staff, and a nice cute location. Definitely going to be one of my go-to's when I'm in town to catch up with friends.

Weekend coming and I needed yummy carrot bread n pumpkin!
    Jeanne N.

Stopped in mid afternoon to pick up a gift card and decided to purchase a couple things breakfast the next day. I realized the selection would not be great, but I did expect it to at least be fresh. I picked up a tin of the mini cinnamon rolls and a cinnamon twist. I honestly could've broken a tooth trying to bite off a piece of the cinnamon twist and even the microwave didn't soften up the cinnamon rolls. Very disappointing visit because I have visited before and their sandwiches were great, their breads were fabulous, and their pastries were fresh. Service is friendly and no issues there. They have a nice area where you can sit inside and seating outside too. Plenty of parking in the front as well. I try to shop local businesses whenever I can, but sadly, I may have to cross this one off my list.

Decided to place a holiday order and followed the instructions by placing my order by the deadline. I went to pick up and my order wasn't received and prepared. The staff member grabbed the items and put it together. Disappointed because we had ordered the holiday cinnamon roll special and they were out and gave me a frozen option instead. Another staff member made a comment questioning if I had placed my order in time which didn't make me feel great. No apology or an offer for a pastry or something else as an apology., The dinner rolls were great but just not sure the customer service matched the food quality.

The food was good! I feel like the price there is alittle expensive! But I still enjoyed it. The service was ok, they weren't really the nicest. My chai was different was not my favorite I've gotten but it wasn't bad either! I loved the pastry's the most they were the best part!

Had their almond berry tart and it was delicious. The coffee was great too. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch sandwiches!

House of Bread, what a spectacular name for a shop! I knew we'd have to drop in sometime, but after we had delicious samples from them at a recent Yelp event, we moved it up on our tasting list. Breakfast was a no-brainer: the ham and cheese with jalapeno roll and a cinnamon roll. The ham roll was particularly delicious--salty, spicy, and cheesy--with just the right texture of pastry to balance it out. We also tried a really good chocolate dipped macaroon and took home a pumpkin chocolate loaf. We were surprised to see such a broad range of foods on the menu and on display in the case (from pastries to quiche), so....we decided to come back for lunch! Husband had a tasty chicken provolone sandwich, and I ordered the taste of Provence toast. I was a couple bites in on mine when I realized there wasn't any boiled egg (which is why I ordered the dish). We let someone know, and the above-and-beyond response was amazing. She apologized and said that the menu needed a correction. They no longer served boiled eggs in their dishes, and to make it right, she offered a substitution and offered to take the dish off our bill. I said a cookie would be fine, but she not only gave me two cookies, she did adjust the bill. Her very generous correction, along with her informative and friendly way of dealing with the issue, was something you don't encounter very often. The other two ladies who helped us that day were also so helpful and kind. Definitely a reflection on the owner and her hiring skills. Seating inside and out was surprisingly plentiful and comfortable. We're looking forward to our next visit to this local woman-owned shop!

11/2/2024- I've heard so many positive comments and when our mobile vet mentioned her favorite bakery- I knew it was time to visit. Staff chipper and friendly for a Saturday morning. Case had many pastries to choose from- Many different loaf cakes to choose from- Couldn't resist the mini cinnamon rolls, and picked a box of mixed half price pastries- and a baguette.. Can't wait to try the cinnamon rolls in the morning.

These baked goods are delicious. Made fresh daily! This place has a store front and a restaurant side for seating. They sell all kinds of items including breakfast and lunch items like sandwiches. I saw they had a clearance section too. We got cinnamon rolls and apple butter. There is plenty of parking on site available. It's located inside a huge shopping center. I will be coming back for lunch or brunch with friends. You should check this place out for yourself!

This spot is my guilty pleasure. The bakery items, food and drinks are always on point and delectable. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. We usually grab the cozy spot in the back corner with the wingback chairs. I love this place!

They had a lot of orders that they were trying to get out, but this one person accidentally put possibly mayo on a sandwich, turned around with the piece of bread in his hand, which I couldn't see what he did with it, but it was kind of wiped off, so I don't know if he scraped it on something, but he did not use a knife in my view to take it off then he took a towel to it, wiped it off and then put it on the grill for 10 seconds and then he put the correct spread on it. Now... What if that person was grossed out by mayo or allergic to something in the mayo. It would've been just as easy to get a fresh roll. That kind of grossed me out. I'm glad it wasn't ours. I have to wonder what that towel was used on. It wasn't a fresh towel. It was crumbled up. That has not sat well with me since I saw that. I think the rating on them (if I was an inspector ) would have been affected. Normally we love that place!

Beline did not disappoint. I ordered the Al 100 torta, which is loaded with carne asada, ham,…read morechorizo, and bacon, and every bite was packed with flavor. The portions were huge, so come hungry. One thing I really appreciated was the convenience. They'll actually bring your order out to your vehicle if you're parked out front, which makes picking up food super easy. Everything was delicious, and they also have a great selection of snacks for sale that you'd typically find in Mexico. It adds a nice touch and makes the experience feel even more authentic. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.

Things I've ordered: Carne Asada Chicharron Carnitas Chicken This Carniceria is a little bit overpriced (11.99 a pound for Chicharron) But it's near my home and cheaper than driving back to Reno if I decide on Mexican food for dinner spur of the moment. When I have big parties and all the family over, three dollars a pound difference can be $30 cheaper to go to one of the other options. A couple of times I have asked the counter person if they sell pork belly uncooked as it is a butcher shop and they have plenty of uncooked meat. But she says they do not. I wish I did so it would save me a trip to blue ribbon butcher. I have not tried any of the deli foods, but they have a nice menu. It is always clean, the people are always friendly and the quality seems to always be there so I will continue to shop here for last minute items or if I want to save a trip to town.
