Large, Plump, Chewy and Delicious Bagels! They offer a variety of bagels to choose from maybe 12+. I have had the Everything, Sesame Seed, Poppy and Cinnamon Raisin. The bagels are $.95. I've been going here since they opened a few years ago and the consistency of the product is outstanding. The store is very clean and the salads and spreads behind the glass cabinets look fresh and inviting, a must in my opinion. I also like the fact that they open at 5:30 am. I am an early riser and sometimes I need to get to work real early. They also have a well supplied self serve coffee station. No complaints about the coffee. They have a small but nice seating area near the front window which happens to catch the morning sun. It's a nice and uplifting way to start your morning. The building is part of a very structurally pleasing strip mall with a huge private parking lot. My complaint and thus why no 5 stars, there is no separate line for those that wish to buy only bagels and those who want breakfast sandwiches, salads, Boars Head products pastries and cookies, etc. I think it creates confusion and unnecessary waiting lines.

Discovered this place driving to Boonton. Glad I did. The bagels are always fresh and made all day long. I used to get a bagel with butter but graduated to a Taylor ham egg and cheese on a sesame bagel. I've had the omelet with home fries and toast but it's so much (4 eggs). I e had a sandwich which was also very good. Their coffee is fresh and doesn't give me heartburn after. They have homemade danishes and their homemade crumb cake is the bomb. I've had the regular, the raspberry, the chocolate and apple caramel crumb cake. They are hidden in a mini mall with a bank, hair salon liquor store and Italian restaurant. It is family run and they are very friendly. They are very easy to miss. Keep an eye out for them and stop if you're in the area. They will not disappoint. I highly recommend. I'm a regular here.

I was in the area meeting with some vendors for my wedding and wanted to pick up bagels to bring back to New Orleans with me. I decided to stop by Howard's given the great reviews and was not disappointed! I ordered an egg bagel with egg whites and cheese. The bagel was big, doughy and delicious! The eggs were cooked well and not watery. Most importantly, my cheese was melted-one of my biggest pet peeves is when the cheese on my egg sandwiches isn't melted (first world problems), but this was perfect. In addition to my sandwich, I ordered three dozen bagels to bring back for my fiancé's staff, and they were a hit! My fiancé actually ate two of them (not going to lie, I snuck one out of the bag later on and ate another one too). The service was also quick and friendly! I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again

The restaurant is located in a small strip mall on Rt 46 East in Parsippany. I've heard the chicken cutlet sandwiches were very good here, but I was in the mood for meatballs. The meatball sandwich was unbelievable! Loaded with meatballs on toasted bread with a delicious sauce, I loved it! There were so many meatballs, I had to eat some before I could eat the sandwich. The guy working behind the counter was very friendly. There were quite a few tables and it clearly looked like a lot of "regulars" here. I'm really glad I finally stopped here. Decided to try this spot out for lunch when I was craving a sandwich. The setting is basic, actually totally different than what I expected. Lands somewhere between a sandwich spot and grandma's Italian eatery. I'm always excited, so maybe that was off-putting to the guy behind the middle of the room counter, but who cares- I ordered two of the most gigantic, delicious fresh tasting sandwiches- I've had in forever. Go get you one.

The young man that charged our order was the sweetest and served everyone with a smile. I wanted to taste Pierogis as I always heard about them so I ordered a variety of them with sour cream. They reminded me of steamed Chinese Dumplings but with different fillings...beef, cheese, mushroom & sauerkraut, cheese & potato. My favorite was the potato & cheese. Lunch panic averted -- and what a find!…read more I didn't bring lunch to work and was deep in the "what am I going to eat?" struggle when The Great Wazu popped up in my search. I'll admit, seeing that it was primarily a sandwich shop made me hesitate since I need gluten-free options. But I was thrilled to see they offer gluten-free bread -- and even more relieved when I spoke to the incredibly kind server who walked me through their celiac protocol. As someone who worries about cross-contamination, that conversation alone put me at ease. I originally planned to grab something quick and rush back to work, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the place is. For a strip mall location in Parsippany, there's actually plenty of seating, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and comfortable. Bonus: tons of parking, which is always appreciated. The menu has so many tempting options -- sandwiches, wraps, salads, chips, sweet treats, and beverages. Once I saw they had gluten-free bread, I may have gotten a little carried away and ordered two sandwiches: the Walnut Cranberry Chicken Salad and the Italiano. No regrets! Both were generously portioned and packed with flavor. I was especially impressed that they use four slices of gluten-free bread per sandwich -- which is thoughtful since GF slices tend to be smaller. For the price, that extra effort really stood out. I also grabbed a side of coleslaw and their homemade potato salad -- both fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Friendly service, great gluten-free awareness, generous portions, and lots of variety -- I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll absolutely be back to work my way through more of the menu.

They use Boarshead meats so the turkey was actually very good. The cranberry sauce was cranberry sauce. Lettuce, tomato, check, check. The issue I had was the volume of mayo. I would estimate that there were two heaping tablespoons of mayo on the sandwich which is much too much. Upon first bite half of it ended up on my face instead of in my face. The multigrain bread was a bit of a miss as well. The slices were very thin and the texture is soft. The sandwich fell apart fairly easily which made it difficult to handle. I think a more substantial, thicker, firmer slice would be a better choice. I also ordered a side of coleslaw which really wasn't up to par. Again, very heavy on the mayo. More mayo than slaw. Even the flavor of the Dr. Pepper from the fountain was off. The service was very fast. With that said I was the only customer so it kinda had to be that way. There are plenty of booths for seating. Pretty basic decor. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing? I will probably give Wazu another chance to see if that is the case or not.
