Great selling services; however, they sold us junk appliances. The LG LFXS30766D got messed up recently, after having it for two years, barely. Our old fashioned fridge is still in perfect shape and that has been with us for 10 years, no repairs, and has been through hell. 2700 grand down the drain even though it received good reviews, supposedly at the time. The Maytag digital washer, a year it failed on us. But, during repairs, we noticed that the transmission was OLD when the guy switched out the motor. Really do your research on any new digital appliances--they are so delicate and nothing compared to older models. read more

Edward is a great salesman, but you can't expect him to follow up with clients on orders that have already been paid for. I should have been able to call customer service to get some of the information I was requesting, but couldn't since Edward was my only point of contact. Sometimes I'd hear from him, sometimes he'd text me, sometimes he'd call, and sometimes he'd just disappear. Not fully his fault, but I understand that he was probably working on actually selling appliances as appose to figuring out when my appliances were going to be delivered. They should probably get people that can be helpful on the back-end and try to follow up with clients and their orders in a less chaotic way. read more

We went to Howard's in Covina and talked to a product specialist, Patrick Henry (no relation to the famous patriot, unfortunately!) He answered our questions about the pros and cons of trying to fix the old refrigerator versus buying a new, non-built in one. We decided to buy the new one and put extra shelving around the space left over. Patrick arranged everything, from the removal of the old refrigerator, to adapting the space for the new one. Ok my oven literally cracked the oven door and it shattered, more like blew up and ended up on the floor of the kitchen. Didn't know that the oven door was made of some type of ceramic glass. My friend says, "can we glue it back together." Duuuuuh...tell me you just didn't say that. Well my brother suggested Howard's appliance. So we went to look for a new stove. So I'm looking for the cheapest oven and the best that I want. I didn't want one of those rounded off burners where your frying pan flys off. I want the burner grills squared off at the end. So I find what I'm looking for. But it's not in stock and they won't sell me the floor model. Jessica Badeau who was a very professional salesperson really helped me. At first I was disappointed and realized I was going to have to go look around at Home Depot and Lowe's and other places. But Jessica wouldn't let me go anywhere. She said she could research it on the computer and get me the lowest price too. Meantime she finds the stove I'm looking for at the Alhambra location and in stock. So she looks around at all the other stores and find me a lower price. I was looking for a stove that was good and had a great price. I didn't realize the stove that i was buying was a GE model which match my GE refrigerator. I finally get get the stove that I want and didn't have to go anyplace else to look. Jessica matches the lowest price online from competitors and match the cheapest installation from the other stores. I made sure someone was home so I wouldn't have to pay all those extra fees. This is my second review on this store. My sales person Edward is a very nice man, however, has terrible follow thru. He helped me purchase my appliances and answered all my questions. Once the sale is complete, he is on to the next customer. He told me I would get free delivery on my appliances. When it was time for appliances to be delivered, I had to pay 250.00 for delivery but he said my rebates would be more than delivery fee. He said he would help me obtain this. My delivery was 9/2. I have no rebates. He kept telling me "I'll call you back later" Never get a call. I show up to store and he says "I've been calling you all morning" but he never leaves a message. By the way, there callback number does not come up as Howards. It's an unknown number. Last week he sent me an email link for rebate. When I clicked on link it was expired. I let him know this. He said he would call me back. Never heard from him. At this point I don't care about the rebate. It's the principle of the matter. Another problem is their items are always on back order. I purchased a microwave in July. Their system said it would be in at the end of July. August rolls around and now item will not be in until end of year. He said there is only one manufacturer that makes them and Howards has top priority. I did my own investigation. Home Depot had same appliance in stock. In fact, there were 25 available for purchase. My advice to any consumer, save yourself the aggravation and shop at Lowe's or Home Depot. You will get better customer service. read more

My husband and I bought a stove, hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer in the beginning of July for their 4th of July deal. The sales reps we worked with were fantastic and helpful at the time of purchase but since then, we have been extremely disappointed. We have been patiently waiting as all of the items have taken months to come in but we are now going into 5 months and we are still waiting on our stove. We had been making credit card payments on items for months and we didn't even have them... we keep calling about 2x per month to get updates and every time we call, our dates keep changing. Last we heard, we were going to be emailed a list of similar items that were in stock in the store but that was 3 weeks ago... this is how it's been since August when our items were were supposed to arrive. We have been eating take out for months waiting on a stove. When I left a question in October asking if all the items were taking months to arrive, I was asked to call the store manager (i believe that's who responded to my question) anyway, I called, left a vm and never heard back. At this point we'll probably be done paying for the stove before it gets out to us. I just hope that if someone else goes in to purchase that they aren't told the items will arrive in a couple weeks or a month at most, like we were... be honest about the wait or suggest items you actually have in stock. read more

While closing the purchases, he offered ways to get additional discounts. We purchased 3 big Kitchen appliances, unfortunately due to Covid, delivery was expected to take several weeks. I have previously given a great review for Howard's Covina and my salesperson Edward and I stand by Edward. He's a great guy. However.. the main reason I bought my samsung appliances was the samsung rebate. It is now 1 year.... yes 1 year and I still don't have my money from the rebate. Do not buy here if your hope is to get a samsung set of appliances with a rebate. The samsung rep gives Edward the run around and haven't given me a call to apologize or tell me personally he's working on it. I bought July 4 2019! It's July 5 2020! Both delivery companies refused to bring my appliances upstairs, then wouldn't let me talk to their managers. Both delivery teams left with my appliances!! They didn't even try. Do not buy Samsung. I purchased a dishwasher, microwave and range. All 3 appliances failed. Howard's does not provide service. I have spent at a minimum 6 hours talking to the Phillipines and Dominican Republic trying to resolve the problems and over 3 months. After 8 service calls I finally received a refund for the dishwasher they could not fix. It took 3 visits to fix microwave. Hopefully it is fixed. Still trying to get range flame adjusted. read more
