Finally got to try Howlin' Ray's! We've never gotten Howlin' Ray's in LA because the lines are just ridiculous. So when I learned they've got a spot in Vegas, I knew this was our chance. Sure enough, no lines whatsoever, same hot chicken sandwich. And it was indeed very good. Just not, "wait in line for more than half an hour" good.

I have been eager to try this place because of the glowing reviews. I was a bit disappointed because it was not freshly cooked. There was a line but it went by quickly. The cashier was very knowledgeable and told us that they are spicier/hotter than Dave's hot chicken so we adjusted our spice level accordingly. The service was very quick but that also implies that the food was already made and was probably sitting out. The food temperature was lukewarm and it did not seem as fresh as what you would get Dave's Hot Chicken ( there weren't different layers of flavors either). That being said, the chicken was the star and it was clear. It was definitely more spicier than most chicken sandwich places, in a good way and the chicken tasted premium. We enjoyed the sandwich but we think that our rating would have been higher if the food was fresh that would have contributed to the flavors and heat more.

I remember waiting an hour at the original Howlin Rays in LA, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out this location opened in the Venetian food court. The wait is MUCH shorter here and the chicken just as good. The hot chicken sandwich here was massive and we were able to share between two people. Food court in the Venetian had popular national treasure, including Scarrs pizza from NYC.

Huge huge fan of howlin ray's! Love all the LA locations and now have added the Vegas location to that list. The food as always just hit right. The staff were super friendly and gave us the banana bread pudding for free since we patiently waited. It's in the foodhall so there are plenty of options but honestly love howlin to turn away from it. Lots of open seating so it's casual.

As an east-coaster who is quite limited to a variety of regional restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised to find Howlin' Ray's located in the Via Via Food Hall in the Venetian! I've watched enough content creators to know what to get -- and most importantly "how" to get. NOTE: Prices will be higher as this is Vegas after all. For my meal I ordered several items: the Sando which came in at a whopping $17. I accompanied it with an order of shake fries ($6), a solo wing ($5), comeback sauce ($1) and a surprisingly lovely peach tea ($6). The total with tax came to about $37 and some change. (Oh, Vegas...) Spice level: Everything in medium. I have to say -- I enjoyed the entire meal. Of all the things I ordered, the sando was the clear winner. I was surprised how much I enjoyed all the flavors working together -- coleslaw, pickles, comeback sauce and the medium spice. The filet was about the size of a Popeyes chicken sandwich filet, nothing crazy. The wing was a bit disappointing. It had the same spice, but was cool to the touch. For a hot chicken spot, I was expecting the hot chicken to outshine the sandwich-- that was NOT the case. For this, I deduct one star. The fries were pleasantly seasoned, it was spiced but not exactly Cajun. The peach tea was the other winner of the evening, as it tasted like real BREWED southern sweet tea! I SEE YOU, Howlin' Ray's! Overall great experience, and glad to cross this place off my foodie bucket list! On to the next!

Def go for the tenders. But the food is extremely salty no matter if you get medium or hot. Warning: Hot is actually pretty dangerous on an empty stomach; it'll hurt once it settles even if you think you can handle it with your mouth. I opted for just 1 hot tender (8/10 spice) and 2 medium (5/10 spice). Perfect balance for myself who tends to eat spice for every meal. Line was about 10 person long, but went by after 15 min. Food comes out quick ~10 minutes. Seating is in a cafeteria so there's usually a spot.

The line isn't as bad as it is in LA. It goes by pretty quickly. I think for as much as they charge in general, the sauces should be free unless people are asking for hella sauces. The chicken is juicy I'll give them that. The seasoning is good if you're a seasoning wing type of person versus a sticky sauce type. That's where the divide is. Would I get it again, probably not but I'm glad I tried it. This is located in the Venetian food hall and they're open until midnight - I think. Typical food court vibes where you struggle finding a place to sit.

My partner and I split a 3-piece tender and ordered fries and one of the sauces. It was our first time, so got one mild and 2 medium. The chicken is excellent. The meat is really moist and juicy and the thin coating, both mild and medium, were terrific. The fries were nice and crunchy on the outside and tender in the inside. The counter staff were friendly and helpful as I explained that it was our first time. The sauce doesn't do much for me, but it does have flavor. I've been to chicken places where the sauce is largely mayonnaise. This is better than that. I prefer Raisin' Canes sauce. It's in a food court near the casino. Can't say much about the atmosphere other than it is a decent food court.

(3.5/5) Despite being incredibly full from lunch, I trekked to Caesars food hall with a few friends to try their favourite french fry place - Howlin' Ray's. The branding is really endearing and I love that their french fry bag says "Have a hot day". I will say the french fries were definitely some of the crispiest and best seasoned fries I've ever had. The chicken tenders were spicy despite having chosen mild and very crispy on the outside, but moist on the inside. Honestly, there isn't much competition on my end especially coming from Canada where true Southern flavours don't have much presence. Despite not feeling hungry at all, I enjoyed the few bites I had and would love to return next time and try it with a full appetite.

One of my favorite chicken spots has a location in Vegas??? Absolutely sold. The line was a bit long but their service was fantastic and fast. I love the chicken sandos, hopefully you will too! They will warn you about the spice level and they are not joking! The first time I had X-Hot I was sweating profusely, but it was so good I had to come back everytime I see it around. If you're a hot chicken lover, do yourself a favor and grab one of these immediately!

Aahhhhh woooooo! *I'm howlin'* LOL The heat is ON! Wow. So let me tell you that the 1st time I was here, I ordered THE SANDO and opted for the MEDIUM which was described as "feel the burn." I can take heat and said next time, I'll order the next level up. For me, the sando was cool but I'll be choosing the TENDERS from now on. The 2nd time (2 days later), I ordered the TENDERS and whoa baby, those tendies are juicy and big! Easily shareable between 2 people. I leveled it up and opted for the HOT which is "burn, baby, burn"! And wow I felt the burn but IT WAS SO GOOD! You can cool it down by dipping it in their TENNESSEE TANG which is their version of a ranch and ooooohhhh it's so good! Not your average ranch! Get yourself 2 of them so you can also dip the seasoned SHAKE FRIES in it. I'm telling you, this all HIT! Each time, there was not much of a wait for service or food and the ladies who took my order were very nice.

This place sits in a the food court corner on the casino floor. I ordered a Sando and an order of their fries. The wait felt a bit long for a chicken sandwich, felt around ~20 minutes. But the wait was completely worth it. This has to be the absolute best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life, it puts all the others I've had to shame. Very generous size of fried chicken, cooked to perfection and drizzled with their sauce, covered in coleslaw and pickles. Every bite was amazing. The wrapper around the burger was also tightly wrapped, so whenever I took a bite the contents would never spill out the other side. Their fries on the other hand are very spice heavy, definitely needs to be dipped in their signature sauce to make it more bearable, but they are quite good and crispy.

Howlin' Ray's never disappoints. This is my second time visiting one of their locations, and the food tastes just as good as the original LA spot. The chicken is packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. The best part about this location is that there's usually no long line. The menu here is pretty simple -- just wings, sandwiches, and tenders. I went with the three-piece wings combo in mild heat. It comes with a slice of bread and pickles. The wings were juicy, crispy, and flavorful, and the mild spice level was perfect for me.

The food is delicious, portions are massive, and the décor is pure retro Vegas perfection. We loved the warm lighting, over-the-top ambiance, and friendly staff. Why wait? I've heard you can spot Nicolas Cage here sometimes if you're here in the absolute middle of the night, but that's way past my bedtime so I can't confirm. Like I said... what's not to love!? Free parking, generous daily happy hour even on weekends, beautiful retro ambiance, great place to take pictures, and really good diner food with a great selection all day long. The only thing that bummed me out (but not even enough to take off a star) is that last time I went to Peppermill -- a couple weeks ago for my birthday -- my group kept trying to order drinks before the happy hour ended but the cocktail server kept skipping right past our table on her rounds. By the time she got to us, 25 minutes later, the happy hour was over and she said she couldn't honor the price as a courtesy. So that kinda bummed us all out a little bit, but we still had a good time and enjoyed the food and the ambiance.

A solid Sunday brunch with Strip views and a good value…read more We were in Las Vegas celebrating an anniversary and birthday with another couple and decided to do the Sunday brunch at Buddy V after a great night out. I definitely recommend making an online reservation ahead of time. We did, and everything went smoothly when we arrived. We were fortunate enough to get a great view of the Strip, which made the experience even better. The staff was friendly, attentive, and on point throughout our visit. Our group of four had a good experience from start to finish. The Sunday brunch is $55 per person, which includes the food and non-alcoholic drinks. There's also an optional $25 all-you-can-drink adult beverage package for those looking to make it more of a boozy brunch. For the Strip location, what's included, and the overall experience, I think that's a pretty reasonable price point. The food was good, and all four of us were happy with our meals. Nothing disappointed us, and the combination of the food, service, atmosphere, and Strip views made for a nice Sunday brunch. We were celebrating both a birthday and an anniversary, and the staff did acknowledge both occasions, which we appreciated. My only suggestion would be to take the celebration one small step further. A complimentary dessert, small cake, or another little celebratory touch would have been a nice detail. Not expected or required, but those small gestures can really elevate a special occasion and make it more memorable. Overall, four happy guests. Good food, friendly service, a great Strip view, and a brunch price that feels reasonable for Las Vegas. If you're considering Buddy V for Sunday brunch, make that online reservation, grab a table with a view if you can, and enjoy the experience. Would I return? Absolutely
