We took the kids to Omega Mart and afterward decided to eat at the Beast because it was convenient. I am so glad we did because the food is EXCELLENT. The Beast is a great place to grab some foodArea 15. I was super hungry and was looking for a vegetarian option when I saw that they made a Caesar wrap. They have a large variety of menu items which was nice since often places in entertainment sectors are limited to standards like pizza and burgers. It's been a long time since I had gone to The Beast, The food was sooo much better! Pizza, sandwiches, pretzels...all so delicious! Even the fries with the sandwich and the loaded ones were perfect! Service was great, our waitress was super attentive even with having a busy section. Only a couple of us had been from our group but everyone seemed to really enjoy it! Diane and I had a swift lunch here, and were both impressed with the appearance and taste of the food. Bang Bang Shrimp was spot on with moderate seasoning and just enough crunch. Onion Rings were very crunchy. Skin-on French Fries looked and tasted like they had been prepared by hand. And my Grilled Cheese Sandwich, with multiple types of well-melted cheese applied to four connected Hawaiian Rolls, had a nice cheese pull to it, and went down smoothly in the gut. The ambiance inside the building was somewhat dark and interesting, with lit chandeliers and assorted artwork all around. Table chairs were serviceable but not very comfortable. We took Zoox to Area 15 today. Inside was a restaurant called The Beast. I had the Grillin' me softly chicken sandwich. My bf had the patty like a rock star burger. We both enjoyed our meals. My bf said his burger was better than the one he had at Gordon Ramsay's the day before. He gave it a 9 out of 10. He had Cajun fries with his. I had onion rings. Everything was tasty. The Beast was so much fun ! The hostess congratulated us on our honeymoon and made polite small talk. When seated, our order was taken quickly and our server was very polite. The place has amazing decor ! It has a very steampunk vibe. My favorite were the candelabras on the wall or the obvious ribs poking out of the ceiling. We stopped in for food after axe throwing for our friend's birthday. Ambiance - it was moody and dark. It lived to the name of what you would think a restaurant called "the beast" would look like lol. Service - we were there an hour before closing, so I thank all the staff for cooking for us and providing excellent service. I recently visited this place and overall had a really good experience. We had a reservation and were seated right away, which was a nice start. I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries, and honestly the portion size surprised me -- the sandwich was much bigger than expected! In a good way! It was also really tasty: juicy, well-cooked, and not dry at all. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right, served in a cute little basket (see photo). Definitely hit the spot. Wait time wasn't that long at all so we were a happy camper! Service was good overall -- our server was attentive and made sure we had what we needed, but he did seem a little stressed. It was surprising since there were only a few tables seated at the time, and his energy came across a bit rushed. We came here to do karaoke, but when we entered upon arrival, there was a group that finished their karaoke session and we're arguing back-and-forth with the employees. I guess they didn't wanna pay for a bottle but that ended up taking about 10 to 15 minutes before we even got serviced asked what we were there for. And when we did ask this that they were full and there was a waitlist. I asked how long and they didn't know how long because they said everybody could stay as long as they wanted so we ended up leaving and going somewhere else with had availability and actually had a amazing food and great karaoke experience. We decided to check this place out on our way home from Vegas. Ambience was great, a little moody inside which I like. We had the Flatastic burger with salted fries and Cajun fries. It's normally on a potato bun but asked to get mine on a brioche bun. So good! It was a really good burger, juicy with double smash patties, pickles and a house sauce. Customer service was great! So I think this restaurant has changed hands. I came here years ago when it first opened and was so impressed by everything I had. I couldn't wait to come back because there were so many things I wanted to try. Fast forward and I had told my whole group that the restaurant was soooo good and hyped it up, only to be a little disappointed by what we saw. The menu was much smaller. But besides that, we were disappointed a few times with what came out. My I've friend ordered the chicken sandwich and it was burned beyond being edible. Another friend has some very serious (doctor ordered) dietary restrictions. With that said, all sure ordered was the regular burger with no onions, no bun, and no sauce. Yes I know, chefs hate making modifications. But it's not like she asked to substitute anything. She literally just asked for them hold off on adding those 3 things, which are typicallyadded after you cook a burger patty. It's a burger. It really shouldn't have been a problem. However, it was a big problem for them to accommodate that. Everyone else got their food except her, and then they told is that the chef had to specially make it because of the changes. Again, I'll repeat the mods: no onions, no sauce, no bun. On a burger. So she waited while we all ate and they made her "special" burger after we all got our food. And then it came out... and there were onions on it. And they were caramelized onions so all the onion juice was all over the burger. Like I said, this wasn't about taste, she has a very rare intestinal diagnosis and the doctor told her no onions (among other things). By that time she didn't want to wait for them to make her anything again because we had all finished our meal. It was literally the saddest thing to watch her just be hungry and not be able to eat. I usually don't write negative reviews, but honestly I feel like my reputation is on the line after so highly recommending this restaurant to my friends only to be so disappointed. My first time visiting Area15 and it was a vibe. After a few barcade games & a shot, I decided I was hungry and settled on this place based on the amazing smell. It was empty so service was quick and I was seated immediately at the grill bar top. I ordered the ribs based on the opinion of my server who was raving about them. Half a rack and a filling portion. The BBQ sauce was ketchup based, which wouldn't have been an issue except it was overpowering - like ribs with ketchup. Once you get past the initial taste, it was pretty good but the meat itself was too dry, that an abundance of sauce wasn't able to hide. I didn't bother trying the pickled veggies since it was just onions. Overall, it was underwhelming. If you're looking for a southern equivalent this isn't it but if they tweaked the ribs so they weren't dry and balanced out the ketchup, it would be a hit. read more

Portions are HUGE and the staff was really nice. We stopped in during our time at Area 15. The hubby and I both had pizzas (should have shared one, as 2 were way too much) and a pretzel (ginormous). The pizzas had good flavor, but were incredibly soggy. Like you can't even pick it up because it all falls apart soggy. The pretzel was amazing! It was super price for what it was, but not terribly surprising as you are kind of stuck in an out of the way place and need to eat. Pizza and pretzel -- both held it down. Nothing fancy, just good bar-style food that gets the job done. The pepperoni had that crisp edge, and the pretzel came through warm and salty like it knew what it was doing. The vibe inside? Dark, moody, and kinda trippy -- like if a tattoo shop and an arcade had a stylish little baby. Decor was cool without trying too hard. Staff was friendly, no complaints. Quick with the check-ins but chill, not hovering. And yep -- bathrooms were clean. Not "I'll survive" clean.
