Texas has given the world a lot of great things. BBQ. That fine Texas babe OCA Courtney B. (Go add her). And now? HTeaO. "Texas Born & Brewed" has officially made its glorious way to Glendale, AZ, and honestly? It's the Baskin-Robbins of tea. There's just a multitude of flavors. I get the hype. You can mix and match a wild amount of flavors, all for under $5. Under. Five. Dollars. In this economy? A treat. They've also got a legit lineup of sugar-free options, and everything that isn't is sweetened with real sugar. No corn syrup used here. Long story short: it's great. I like it here. Happy Hour BOGO every day from 2-4 PM. That's not tea... that's a public service.

If you're a fan of iced tea, this spot is definitely worth checking out. They offer an incredible variety of flavors, and they actually encourage you to mix and experiment. They even showcase a "secret menu" that customers can try to recreate. On my first visit, I attempted a cotton candy-inspired blend--didn't quite nail the proportions, but it still tasted great. It's such a fun concept that started in Texas, and I really hope they expand with more locations nearby. The prices are very reasonable, and they run a daily happy hour from 2-4 PM with buy-one-get-one-free deals, which is an awesome bonus.

My mom and I came in today to take advantage of the two for $12 tea gallons. It's a pretty tight squeeze in here to begin with, and there were quite a few people that walked in while we were walking around deciding what to get. After we checked out, we both turned around to walk out, and my mom tripped over the bottom of the stand that was holding merchandise. All of the patrons in the store rushed over to ask my mom if she was OK and asked if we needed help getting her up. The workers at the counter literally stood behind the counter and stared. They didn't try to help and they didn't say anything, I thought it was completely inappropriate and totally rude. Pretty sure when someone falls or is injured in an establishment someone should check on the patron. That's been my work experience at least but maybe they don't do that here These stands are tripping hazards for anybody, I've even tripped over it before just didn't fall. You should probably get that figured out. My mom is OK by the way, thanks.

I got their Matcha and it's very clumpy. They didn't mix it very well. I asked for extra foam and they charge me for it.

Staff is friendly, place is clean. No area to sit. The drinks were ok, they were all too sweet for me.

Clean, friendly and their teas are amazing! It's so nice having a different option around that isn't coffee.

Most options here are self serve, though they do offer some brewed options that they can whip up for you behind the counter.

I tried out their PB Nirvana, Angel Wings drink, and a fruit acai bowl. First off, the presentation of their food is simply immaculate. The PB Nirvana is one big toasted bread which is covered completely with peanut butter and banana slices alongside coconut shreds. Although the acai bowl was smaller than other places, it was arranged so neatly and the quality of the fruit was sublime. The Angel Wings was sufficiently warm and wonderfully sweet. I liked all the things I ate and would recommend this place for anyone looking for quality food and drinks. All of this cost around $30.

But other than that I love going there I love the place just the energy about it people that go in and out I recommend this place.

I got the Screaming Eagle which is white chocolate and caramel in so good I got it blended. The coffee beans they used were so good and I was so excited to hear that they roast them in house. I'll have to remind myself to take a picture next time. Their workers there are wonderful. I asked simple questions that they were able to answer like what the syrups they use are what the chocolate brands are, and it made me extremely happy to know that the brand of chocolate syrup and white chocolate syrup they use are very simple with not as many ingredients as I'm used to seeing on a bottle. I am a horrible at that but if you're anywhere near them, definitely try them out. You won't regret it and if you're in a little bit of a coffee snob, they're definitely good.

I was able to order quickly and my drink was ready in like a minute, service was fast and the baristas were nice! I got a cold brew with oat milk and vanilla. They have a little patio too.

Parking wasn't too bad. Place was empty when I walked in witha good amount of tables and seating. Lots of Bible verses on the wall. I wondered if this was a newer boba shop. Lady at the counter was on the phone and didn't answer my question. I asked which of the milk teas she recommended and she said the golden milk tea aka classic. I ordered a large with easy ice, 50% sugar, and honey boba. Menu price is $7 and $1 for boba, but total came out to $9 for some reason. It even says tax is included in their prices, so not sure what the extra $1 was for. Drink was ready in a few minutes and I was on my way. First thing I noticed was the color: very light and white. Strange, as I expected it to be darker. Flavor wise: sweet and no tea flavor, disappointing. Tasted like a powder too. Boba balls were good; chewy and cooked nicely. That was a small redeeming factor. Overall not impressed with this spot and probably won't be back. Expensive and quality is not up to par.
