I have visited Huckleberry's several times but never been to this location. It is located on Fairway opposite of Costco in a cramped shopping center. Parking can be a nightmare as there is a lot of traffic coming in and out. We originally went to Four Sisters and it was a 45 min wait on a Sunday at 10 am and didn't have that kind of time. Looked up what was nearby and this was it. We walked in an was seated right away. They were busy, but not nearly as much. Tried something new this time. I got the Steak Skillet $17.49. It was not steak. I imagined chunks of steak. It was thinly sliced roast beef at best. My friend got the veggie skillet. Both our potatoes were undercooked and tasted old like its been in the fridge a long time. My toast was cold. The hucklyberry muffin was quite good. The skillets were very hearty and I was able to take half home for another meal. Our waitress came quickly and took our order but we never saw her again. She never checked on us ONCE or refilled our drinks. Had to flag her down as she was flying past to get a to-go box and our ticket to pay. You take it to the front yourself and pay. So if this was my first time here, I would not be impressed but I will chalk it up to understaffing? I will return to a Hucks but maybe not this location.

Has always been a good choice for traditional as well as some unique menu options for breakfast. Staff friendly. Restaurant clean. Food is tasty and big portions. Today Kim was stellar in service. This is one of our go-to because it's always a good experience.

My first time here and not my last. It is a very delicious brunch. Truly one of our favorite brunch dates. I got the stuffed banana foster French toast and my friend got the stacked chicken and waffles. The French toast was delicious. All the flavors complement each other. I love the taste and flavor. Now, my friend's meal was wow!!! I wanted to steal it from him. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Some chicken and waffle brunch spots have dried chicken. This did not. I kept cutting some more of his food. It was that good and it was a perfect pair with the waffles. I do not like pouring my syrup on top of my waffles but omg it was tasty!!! The syrup made the dish. Next time I am ordering the stacked chicken and waffles. I do recommend getting it if you do not know what to order. The service was fast. We were seated right away. The ambiance is amazing. It felt like a bayou. It was super aesthetic. This spot is great for brunch.

Went here on an afternoon date with the hubby. This was his first time at a huckleberry's and my first time at this location. The fried tomatoes with Cajun ranch is delish! The tomatoes always need a bit of salt though. The portions are huge. The food was fresh and tasty. The customer service was great. My only issue was I requested eggs with a runny yolk and fully cooked white and my yolks were not runny. Not a huge deal though. It was also pretty warm inside there is a lot of sun coming in even with shades. I imagine in the thick of summer it's gonna get really hot. Will definitely be back.

I love that the bananas fosters comes w eggs bacon and two fried green tomatoes, it helps balance the sweetness of the bananas fosters which was very tasty! Hubby got the chicken fried steak and it was really good too! Crispy on outside and tender on the inside and the gravy is homestyle gravy. We are always happy with the food and the service is the cherry on top!!

Our second time in this chain restaurant known for breakfast or brunch. Came on a Saturday at around 11 am and we were seated right away for a party of 5 in a booth. I got the Crab cake Benedict but I didn't like it. It didn't meet my expectation. It was more on the dry side so do not order this. My son ordered the 1/2 lb Chicken Fried Steak platter which he liked and I kind of liked too. Hubby had the 1/2 lb ribeye platter which we definitely agreed tasted good and he also had an order of Bloody Mary. Daughter had the Scratch-made biscuits and gravy which was ok but I believe she liked. Then daughter's boyfriend got the Chicken and waffle breakfast which he also liked. Portions were indeed generous but I just was not impressed with my Crab cake Benedict. Service was good and the place as a whole was clean. Enough parking is available as well. The entire tab was not as expensive as I thought. 17 4 2024 #251

Came on a Saturday at 11 for brunch. Got seated right away for a table of 5. It was our second time here with our first breakfast happening when Huckleberry's was new in Roseville back in 2019. It looks practically the same, with the faux fireplace & gators and the bayou outdoor scene. I got a Bloody Mary and the half pound of Ribeye Platter. My wife got the Crabcake Benedict, which she didn't care for. My son chose the 1/2 lb Chicken Fried Steak Platter. My daughter ordered the Scratch-Made Biscuits and Gravy while her boyfriend had the Chicken and Waffle Breakfast. Portions were generous, but the flavor was lacking. Service was courteous and attentive.

Awful experience at this place. Our order took 50 minutes to be ready on a not busy day. We ordered the banana French toast and it was disgustingly soggy. They also messed up our other items and gave us different meat. The potatoes were BURNT . Overall nasty food and not great service. Our server Sandra took our order and never came back until after our food was out. She dropped off our check 10 minutes after we got our food. Overall an awful experience, would not go here again.

Love the country vibe and their croc mascot when walking in.They are dog friendly which is plus. The food was good and good portion. We was so full so took the biscuits home and had them for next morning breakfast with jam and butter.Next time gonna try another of their dish with biscuits involved. Waiters were very sweet and gave lots of compliments to our fur baby. The only thing I didn't like the seating were we was seated it was too wide from the table and seat was slanted giving me a sliding feel were I had to hold myself from sliding below the table, maybe it was just our table.Other than that we highly recommend them.

Saturday brunch crowd. We got there in good timing and got seated right away. The place was clean and lively. Service was good. I normally go for the chicken fried steak but changed it up this time and shared the Riverboat omelette so I can indulge in the Mardi Gras beignets. The strawberry lemonade is always a refreshing choice.

The food, service, and ambiance were all terrific and made for a comfortable, delicious experience we will be returning to soon. We had tried going there once before about 6 months ago, but the wait was too long for our schedule that day. Yesterday, our party of four showed up at 11, and the wait was only 10 minutes. Our server, Kristin, was amazing. She answered our questions perfectly and without hesitation; she was always there to refill iced tea and bring anything additional we needed - the service was flawless in every way. We were at a booth for four, and the booths are comfortable and clean. The layout of the restaurant is efficient, and perfect for the dining experience FSC is offering. And the food? Off the charts 5/5! I hadn't had pancakes in a long time, so I ordered the blueberry pancakes. The two pancakes were both massive and delicious. Fresh blueberries in the batter and on top, and they were perfectly ripe and flavorful. I can't envision anyone actually finishing all of it, but I was happy to take home leftovers. The pancakes were fluffy and light, among the best I have ever had. I also had a side of the house-cured bacon, which I requested crispy, and which arrived perfectly crispy and delicious. Mrs. K had the blue cheese burger and loved it. I was granted a taste, and I agreed. Juicy, prepared exactly as ordered, and served with exceptional fries that were crispy outside and soft inside. Our friends had various forms of eggs and bacon, including a dish FSC calls Beggin' For Bacon. The egg dishes looked perfect, and our friends confirmed they tasted as perfect as they looked. FSC gets a ton of 5-star reviews, and they deserve every one. We will be returning soon and often, and obviously, I highly recommend FSC for your next breakfast/lunch outing.

They are very attentive and all look like they are hustling. It is a wonderful experience to know that they care about their customers. Drinks are constantly refilled, and they constantly check in on you in a non annoying way. The food is where I disagree with most of the reviews here. My first time there I got the corned beef and hash. The corned beef was great, the potatoes could be so much better though. They need to be crisp and well seasoned, they were neither. Maybe you can ask for them extra crispy? The next time I visited I had a BBQ chicken sandwich. The chicken was kinda dry, the sauce tasted good though. I also didn't like how it was assembled, it seemed kinda tossed on the bun and sent out. They are so busy here, and I wish they would just take a little extra time in the kitchen to make the food as great as the service. This is like a 3.5 star, with the great service and the decent food. Would I ever come here out of choice? Probably not. Would I throw up a big fuss if friends wanted to come here? Nah, I'd go without issue. Maybe I haven't found my meal here yet.

Another seasonal drink that I tried was the pumpkin cold foam chai, and it pretty much was like a melted milkshake with a little bit of chai flavor lol. Didn't notice much pumpkin at all. Too milky for my liking, but if you're a fan of Starbucks Frappucinos, then this might be the seasonal drink for you. As for the desserts here, I enjoyed the eclair (nicely assembled and had smooth and rich dark chocolate on it) but was disappointed on the fruit tart (the fruit toppings were vibrant and plump, but the custard was missing a strong vanilla taste and I wasn't a fan of the egg-white-based crust that ended up sticking to the foil cardboard base). Friendly staff. Super cozy cafe vibes especially with the pothos houseplants (so cute that water propagations of cuttings are table decor). Ample lot parking.
