Mezcal with special green juice and Brussels sprouts with mushrooms in a light curry sauce.

Loud and lively atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly. The menu was fusiony. Colorful presentation of food. While I like the attempt at being creative, sometimes less is more. I called ahead to make reservations. They use an AI system. Unfortunately she could handle limited requests. I ultimately requested a live person to assist. My BFF requested this restaurant specifically for her birthday, and the restaurant honored my seating requests. I also mentioned it was a birthday celebration. We witnessed another party adjacent to us having a full on dessert and song presented. At the end of our evening, I finally asked the waiter about the birthday dessert and the waiter said there was nothing for birthdays offered by the restaurant. I didn't expect anything free; however it was the non-caring attitude of the waiter I was not appreciative of for my friend on her birthday, especially because I called ahead. The birthday drink we ordered is not pictured. She ordered it because it reminded her of the ones her mom used to make. The waiter set the drink on the table. It was a disappointing and anticlimactic end of the meal. To sum it up, pretty is as pretty does. The food was okay, the quality time with my friend, the best.

I came here after a nice bike ride to hear my friend DJ Hydroe and his wife dj a 45 rare grooves set. The place, food, service and vibe were great. I was vibin so hard, I forgot to take pictures. I will have to make up for that on my next visit. Wanna go and experience their brunch.

Clam Chowder and thick buttery toast. Very tasty!

The Wednesday Ouster Hours is the best deal in town. The Oyster/Martini combo was the best. We had two rounds and had the clam chowder. Very tasty with lots of clams. Very cozy place and the service was top notch! We'll be back!

Don't sit on the patio. The servers had a hard time remembering there was a patio section. I felt scammed by the Harvest Bowl. One of the worst things I've ever been sold at a restaurant. It's labeled as a rice bowl and says it comes with baby kale. It was instead a mixed green salad with a garnish of rice. Horrible. So beware, the Harvest Bowl is not a "Bowl", it's a really shitty salad. Fish sandwich was pretty good. Tartar sauce was a little bland, but the homemade pickles were a nice touch. Fries were McDonald's style. Fancy filet of fish vibe. Not horrible at all. Very flat soda. Need to replace their co2 tank. Pricey and inconsistent isn't a good combo with so much competition around. Walk down the block, and you'll find a better restaurant.

Stumbled upon this new spot a few days ago and decided to stop in for lunch. They had plenty of dining space both indoor and outdoor, but we were told there was only outdoor seating available which worked out fine because we preferred to be outside anyway. I loved the color scheme and overall vibe here but unfortunately that was about it. Service was extremely slow even though they weren't busy, and none of us enjoyed our food. On the plus side, the drinks were great! I loved the PS Martini, great if you want a sweet drink. As far as service, not sure if they forgot about us but we weren't the only outdoor table and we kept seeing them attend to the other table but we would literally have to wave down our waiter. We were ready to order for ages but nobody was coming over until we flagged him down physically. It took over an hour from us sitting to when we got our food. When food arrived they brought 3 of the 4 entrees and then asked if we needed anything else. I said yes, my meal. Took ten mins after that for my food to be delivered which leads me to believe they forgot to put in my order in the first place. Everyone else's food was cold/lukewarm by the time mine came out. Biggest disappointment was that none of us enjoyed our meal. The food did not taste good or reflect the price in the slightest. The smash burger had a really weird taste and I think it was the chopped tarragon or whatever herb they're hiding in the burger patty that isn't listed on the menu. It absolutely ruined the burger. The fish tacos (apparently their most popular item) were a big miss for me. Presentation is nice but the piece of fish in the taco was half the size of the tortilla and it's loaded with tons of unnecessary items in my opinion. I didn't enjoy the pickled jalapeño or the pineapple. Felt like they're trying to make things fancy but in the process they're compromising the taste. Would not recommend if you're coming for a meal. Perhaps if you just want a drink this is the spot for you.

This is the oyster special flier that says all day Wednesdays.

So my wife was watching an episode of California Live with Host Jessica Vilchis and she did a segment on Huddy's at the beach and promoted the All Day Wednesday Oyster special for $1.50 each and some martini specials. Today we were going to be in the area so we hit up Huddy's. When we got there the server Warner gave us breakfast menus and it might have been an old one because the oyster special said 4:00-10:00 and not all day so we were a little confused. We asked Warner about it and so he brought us the little flier that showed all day $1.50 each and no limit. My wife and I love oysters so we started out with a dozen to share. They came out pretty quickly and from first bite, it was a hit of the fresh ocean with a nice salt water brine and just tasted so fresh. We devoured the first dozen and we had to order a second dozen. Because it was still breakfast/lunch hour, we could not order any clam chowder or other food items that are served during the dinner menu. So it will give us a reason to come for dinner on a Wednesday night and try items like their braised short ribs or their slow cooked spare ribs along with the clam chowder and definitely a few trays of oysters. When we first got in, Warner was the only server and he looked overwhelmed, but he got caught up and handled the service well. I just wish it was closer, but for $1.50 oyster Wednesdays, it is worth the drive to devour freshly shucked oysters.

Came for happy hour and food was tasty. Got a dozen oysters to share and was only $22. Their Happy Hour is really reasonable and will definitely come back. Our servers were just awesome and very helpful. The color scheme inside is so girly and cute. Love all the pink

A vegan harvest bowl is not something I'd usually rave about yet this was absolutely packed with flavor! Grilled vegetables, forbidden rice, fresh avocado, tomato and leafy greens drizzled with a terrific vinaigrette. Would order again. And the French fries here are perfect-crunchy outside, fluffy inside-like what fries used to be! Love the Miami Vice color scheme. A great addition to Hermosa.

    Yummy burger and fries

Huddy's only recently opened but I suspect they will soon become one of the most popular places in Hermosa Beach. The restaurant has a soothing decor and design style, reminiscent of laid back beach vibes and fun/energetic Palm Springs. We visited during happy hour and enjoyed the Mr. Nice Guy deal and also a dozen oysters. Both were delicious, especially the burger with its 50/50 beef/duck patty. Yum! The fries were also very good. The bar tender was very attentive and friendly. Great place all around and I look forward to another visit.

This place has been transformed over the past few years as it has changed hands at least 3 times. It is now Huddy's. It previously housed L&B Coastal & The Stanton HB. I used Open Table to make a reservation. It wasn't necessary on the Thursday evening we went. We were given the option of sitting in the main open area where the bar is or sitting in the room to the left. We were informed that there was going to be live entertainment in the main area, so we chose to room to the left. After being seated, we were brought out some ice water with the rest of the carafe left on the table. It was still Happy Hour for a few more minutes, so we put in our order from that small menu. We shared: *Edamame + Shishito Peppers ($10 HH) ~ these came out hot. Mostly Edamame with a few Shishito Peppers on top. *Mr. Nice Guy - Huddy's Smashburger, Fries, Martini ($25) ~ the Smashburger comes out with lettuce & tomato on the side. Build your burger how you want. Doesn't include a pickle. The patty is supposedly beef and duck burger. The fries were cold & limp, so we informed our server. He brought out nice hot & crispy fries. This is how they should have been to start with! I will give them credit for leaving the cold fries with us because that ensured we were getting new fries and not our fries reheated!! We didn't eat the cold fries. *Charred Market Veggies - rainbow carrots, cauliflower, & broccolini ($8) ~ lovely presentation which I haven't seen done with veggies before! They're all sitting upright in the cup (the same one the fries are served in. The veggies were on the very al dente, barely cooked state. They were also coated in some sort of oil. Almost made me wonder how healthy these were afterall! *I drank the Martini that came with the Smashburger at HH. I got the Lychee Martini. For me it was pretty strong, but most all drinks are for me! I liked that it was sloshy, like very melted slushy. It came with a piece of canned lychee on a flamingo toothpick. Very cute! The ambiance here is great. However, once the live music started, it competed with the music coming out of the speakers in the room we were in. The decor is mostly green and pink. Gives a tropical feel, like Miami vibes especially with the flamingo lamp at the check-in desk! But we're in Hermosa Beach, so it must be West Coast themed? I did notice the picture of the Beverly Hills Hotel close to our table with the same color scheme. We saw two people just about trip on the edge of the large carpet while we were dining. We told the staff about it. Hope they tack it down so nobody really takes a tumble! I would be interested in trying the Habanero BBQ Pork Ribs. If we were looking for drinks, this place might better suit us. I'm not sure we'll be back, but who knows.

Super cute brunch! Started with the espresso martini and lost track of how many bottomless mimosas I had. They have a wide variety of brunch items on the menu but I was very happy and satisfied with the omelet I had. I scarfed the whole plate down and left no crumbs. The vibes in there were spectacular and I love that they have a DJ playing on Sunday's. Looking forward to many more brunches here

Food was amazing! Service and ambiance was great. Love the colors that they used! The bottomless mimosas were $25 versus 1 for $10, definitely worth it.

Seems like a good place for mid-sized groups of 4-6 people. Price point was a bit on the higher end, especially considering the food we had. I don't think a single dish inspired me to "write home about." Lots of fusion stuff that just didn't hit how it should. Fox and Farrow is connected to another bar with a very different ambiance - more like a sports bar, from what I remember - and they were rowdy while watching a sports game. You can tell the chefs are dedicated to the craft. They're a 2025 bib gourmand restaurant and are hoping to aim for their first star, so their efforts into the decor, ambiance, and food shows (good luck!). The waitstaff/chefs were also very attentive. Mussels Tart - really delicious. Super unique and beautifully plated. No taste of fishiness or the ocean. Just overall a 5/5 dish that you must try. Beef tongue - I normally enjoy beef tongue thinly sliced at a Korean BBQ restaurant or coarsely chopped up in a street taco. They do it differently here. The beef tongue is one big cube. It's very flavorful and tender. Not as amazing as the mussels tart but still worth a try. Chili crab - this put them on the map. SUPER DELICIOUS. It's not what you'd expect from a creation called 'chili crab'. There's no shell to be seen and the crab meat is actually buried underneath. Scoop from the inside out. Tons of flavor and I wished the portion size was doubled. Lamb pappardelle - if you like lamb then you'll love this. Lots of different spices and flavors. It has a very deep flavor profile that makes you appreciate all the work and thought that went into designing this dish. I'd get this again also! Strawberry tiramisu - they brought this out for the birthday celebration. They prepared it in a gigantic bowl. Scooped out a generous portion and plated it right in front of us.
