We came to Hudson bagels early morning to pick up a dozen bagels and schmear. They had a lot of unique bagel options, and a huge number of cream cheese options as well. We got a bakers dozen and all the bagel varieties were very tasty. The cinnamon raisin bagel was very cinnamon heavy. For a bakers dozen and a large cream cheese, it was $24 which I thought was reasonable. It looked like they had a lot of fun coffee options, but we just stuck with bagels. This seems to be THE bagel place in the area.

Solid bagel stop less than a mile//3 minute drive from downtown Hudson. Staff was welcoming and made us non-locals feel at home (tho it's clear the majority of stopper bys are regulars which is always a good sign) 2 small tables inside, plenty more tables outside. The lox bagel was loaded up, and bagels themselves were chewy and flavorful. Official rank: Helllllls yeah.

Absolutely hands down THE BEST bagel I've EVER had! You can tell their bagels are made fresh, so soft and flavorful. Great inviting friendly service and atmosphere. I put money on the owner is an Italian from New Jersey

The service was excellent, they were very welcoming and had suggestions for the menu, told me to take my time as I chose what I wanted. I ended up getting the Sicilian which was a double espresso with hazelnut and vanilla and it was delicious! For my breakfast I got the sky walker, everything bagel with egg white, turkey sausage and avocado. The sandwich was 11.39 which was steep but it was delicious so I would splurge again.

Best Bagels outside of NYC!. Comparable to any of the best & trendiest bagel spots I've been to in nyc and bk. All the staff is super nice! & they make you bagel or other items quick and easy. They also have online ordering. Can get real busy on weekends and bagel varieties sell out so get in early! Overall, Great little bagel spot. (Good coffee drinks as well) It's nice they have tons of parking & right off 66.

Immediately greeted with friendly service, this bagel spot is the place to stop! There are SO many options. From sweet to savory, breakfast or lunch, everyone is sure to find something. I went with my classic breakfast sandwich order.. bacon, egg & cheese.. on an everything bagel!

Friendlist staff around! Made the experience great. The bagels were awesome. The dee (egg white, avocado, pepperjack) on everything was delicious. I also tried the sesame bagels and they were spot on. They had a good crust and bite but soft inside. Off the beaten path in Hudson but well worth the visit.

The shop offers everything you want or need: comfy seating, warm environs, genuinely friendly and attentive service, delicious from-scratch foods and beverages, and good prices. The trays of homemade baked goods coming straight out of the kitchen looked and smelled wonderful, too. Hudson Roastery is really good at what it does. I highly recommend it!

Incredibly bummed, especially seeing all the positive press around the quality and the sourcing…read morethey claim to approach business with, that quite a lot of the food being served was from SYSCO or another large similar restaurant supply vendor, ordered by the case and baked from frozen. Now first off, don't get me wrong, buying in bulk or sacrificing the quality of some ingredients to large suppliers like this is definitely a reality when running a restaurant. Even moreso in this day and age when ingredient prices are exorbitant. That said, it needs to be reflected in the price point. Pastries are arranged beautifully under cloches in the display case, but I could spot the premade, ready-to-bake spinach feta bistro (https://www.chefswarehouse.com/products/QZ119984/) or ham and cheese croissant (https://www.chefswarehouse.com/products/99971/) from a mile away. The avocado spread on the preassembled breakfast sandwiches is definitely the pulp from the 3lb bag from Chef's Warehouse too. I know that taste! All of that said, they had a few items in the case that I'm sure weren't from one of these big vendors. Which was great to see. My (yes, unsolicited!) advice would be to pare down the menu. Offer just a bit less so you can focus on the quality. Try and tap into some local producers if you can! That's one of the best things about the Hudson Valley... how much all the purveyors and markets and cafes support each other. It's clear too how much they care about the community. They're dog friendly inside. No WiFi to encourage people to chat with one another. Fine. I really want to see this place continue to thrive, it's just a bit of a bummer that a significant part of the menu including things that really should be fresh, aren't.

The lighting was a little odd but it is a cute concept. It's a renovated bank building so lots high ceilings and marble floors. It's technically two businesses: a sit down restaurant with European fare and a cafe full of flaky pastries and all the bon bons you've ever wanted. We did a little of both. We ordered a cocktail and bergamot soda at the restaurant (both of which were quite refreshing!) along with a steak frites that we shared. The fries were more like wedges which I liked and it also came with roasted carrots. Then, for dessert we popped over to the cafe for the brown butter bourbon and rye chocolate chip cookie! What a delight! So many flavors that I love packed into a dense cookie. YUM! Overall, Banque is a nice stop for some elevated dishes and treats in Hudson. Cocktail and bergamot soda

This out of the way corner cafe in Upstate Athens is very homey, open, clean, welcoming and has lots of off beat offerings that a regular passer by would not necessarily expect. It has big windows. For one, they hotly cook-up pizzettes, hot and very flavorful sandwiches, soups, coffees and tea. Right next to the register is a clear glass window box with all sorts of scrumptious sweets, muffins, cakes, tarts, choco donuts and cupcakes - that are made each day, I might add. The display is quaint and spot-on and each dessert is elevated on a tiny cake platter on a doily. Next, all the menu boards (above the counter and to the side) are easily legible, for elderly too. The menu that was handed to me was also not too complicated (2 sides) and was laminated, to avoid Covid. The staff was professional, bouncy (music), well prepared for groups that came and friendly. Some staff even remembered what some of the elderly in line wanted, before they ordered. How is that for manners and style?! Go kick rocks down an alley Starbucks! Lastly - the food and drinks here are simply very outstanding. I do not say that often. My cheese panini-style sandwich had layers of molten and hot cheeses, seared onions and somewhere in that mass also herbs and some dark mustard! It was scrumptious. They serve other classics like turkey, salami, ham sandwiches (some already wrapped for quick sale and go). The Athens Rooster is off the beaten (egg?), no track; (just kidding) but the parking is easy, there are lots of seats and even just simply placing (it's a small gesture, for sure - but chefs like me take note) a large jug full of free lemon water with clean cups on the bar counter at the front, really: makes all the visitors days. Cafe go-ers love those water jugs. Believe me! The Athens Rooster is a well maintained, bright and friendly late breakfast and late lunch spot. The grilled cheese and coffee stayed hot longer than 15 minutes after the sale. Very delicious! Top notch cafe - expertly prepared cuisine. Review: 5+
