Went in at 10am on Sunday. Wait was about 20 mins. Server was nice. A little wait for food but server acknowledged the wait and apologized. Which wasn't necessary since we enjoyed the coffee. Had rhubarb waffle and crab cakes. Perfect for my husband and I to split. Perfect amount of food. Menu said coffee only had 2 refills. But they kept refilling. Both waffle and crab cakes I highly recommend. We chose crab cakes because of previous reviews and was not disappointed. read more

Lovely view of the marina, excellent service, yummy breakfast. I had the cornmeal cherry pancakes and my boyfriend had the prawn fittata (with green chilis and bacon)... yummy! The fried potatoes are great too, and coffee was excellent also. read more

Incredible food and friendly staff. The downside is that it's generally slow. We waited for about 10 minutes for a table which isn't bad for a Sunday morning, but it took a while before the waitress took our order and it was probably 45 minutes until the food came out after that. So if you're not in a hurry and are wanting to catch up with your breakfast-mates, it's the perfect place! :) We'll be back. read more

Best breakfast I have ever had was an omelette (smoked mozzarella, spinach and mushrooms) at this restaurant several years ago. Return visits have consistently hit the same high bar. And serving refried beans as a side at breakfast sounds unconventional but it was PERFECT. Coffee and water always refilled and we enjoyed the view, watching someone running a radio controlled sailboat out in the marina. read more

This has become my favorite breakfast and lunch place, with great views rain or shine. The building has a creosote smell outside, a touch of old boatyard authentic, with good views of some incredible boats. I love the Hudson Hash, (salmon, polenta and feta,) all breakfasts have a fruit salsa garnish. My husband goes for the oyster scramble relentlessly. Lunch burgers are so good I haven't cracked the salad offerings. I never thought I would like a Baja burger much, but I was wrong. One day the special was a mushroom sandwich, perfectly satisfying. A rainy Sunday morning breakfast of a chantrelle and cheese mushroom omlette, fried red potatoes, a side of bacon, and toast. It was a fantastic start to the day. I took half of the omlette and potatoes home. The potatotes had a crispy brown edge to them. Yum! Just had a lovely lunch at Pt. Hudson Café, overlooking the marina. Salmon sandwich, which could have been boring, but was on a fresh roll and dressed with homemade tartar sauce and some gently sautéed leeks. Side salad of fresh, fresh, fresh greens, and what must have been local tomatoes and cucumbers, with house-made greek dressing, lots of little feta chunks. So yummy. Pegasus brewed coffee, always good. And the service was superior, attentive, professional, and kind. I will definitely be back -- maybe for breakfast tomorrow! read more

Last week a group of friends and I went to Hudson Point Cafe for breakfast. We were seated quickly and the waitress consistently checked in on us to see what we wanted to order. The atmosphere of the restaurant was poor; there was little to no lighting, the room was all smokey and smoggy, and as you walked into the restaurant you get hit with a strong smell of food. I ordered the french toast with ricotta cream cheese and it was very delicious. The french toast was very warm and I tried to get a little of the cream cheese with each bite because it was so tasty and eloquent. The timing could be better because it took 40 minutes to get our food and the restaurant wasn't that busy. Overall, the Hudson Point Cafe had good service and options of food but the ambiance left something to be desired. read more

Thanks so much for staying open and serving brunch/breakfast after Thanksgiving on Friday. I called all over town, getting in a panic, because we have friends that are super foodies coming from Seattle. Having lived in Portland, I know what they mean; good food and service, and in this town it is HARD to find! Every place I called, it hadn't dawned on them to even serve breakfast for all the guests staying in town for the Holiday weekend. I called these guys, they asked the owner and decided to stay open because I told them they would have a monopoly on the breakfast trade, and kept it going til 2pm. As it is, our friends were hours late, so I was sweating finding any kind of brunch, sweating even more that anyone would have a Brevia or drinks or anything good. They assured me they would, and it was great. Our friends had the different hashes and were impressed [these are hard to impress folks!]. The food is cheap for fresh ingredients; mostly $10-12 and very much NW [not unusual, typical of the region] food like NW scrambles and hash with seafood. That's what we like; grits would be weird here! Anyway, they always have perky staff, and the coffee is good. Thank you for getting us out of a jam! Afterwards, our friends were looking for the charts you had on the table, at the Maritime store, so I know they enjoyed the ambience as well. read more
