This is hands down THE WORST shop around. Save yourself time, money, and heartache and take your vehicle somewhere else. This week Huff's completely messed up my vehicle. All I needed was the air conditioner fixed. (This is the 3rd time it's been in there in 2 months.) They messed up the alarm, and I was told "they aren't alarm people, then I went to turn on my headlights and they didn't work, grease was ground into my brand new seat covers. When I approached the owner about these problems they told me none of this was their fault and that it wasn't possible. Then, the actual owner asked me not to come back!!! I've spent thousands of dollars there with them. Horrible place, the owner will argue and fight with you. They are crooks, who make you feel like you are the one in the wrong. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic. Brought my vehicle in at the advice of another shop. Dropped off my car at 9 am. Was called at around noon and told that my compressor was bad and would cost $1700 to replace. I did not have the funds for the repair right now and told them I would pick up the car today. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told that the fee for the diagnosis was $199. I was shocked. Nobody at anytime told me there would be a diagnosis fee let alone $199. When I said something about it, I was told that they forgot to mention it and that I should have known there would be a fee. They continued to argue with me and insult me and finally held my car hostage till I paid. I did not have enough in my account to cover the whole thing, so they took everything I had left in my account to cover what they could. $151. Save your time and money and avoid this place like the plague. read more

I had my Audi Q7 towed to Huff's Automotive early Monday morning after losing my power steering over the weekend. I called first thing that same morning to let them know and they were very accommodating on short notice and took note of all my concerns. They diagnosed the problem within hours and sent me a text message to provide me with an update since my voicemail box was full [I do that on purpose ;)]. They also reviewed my entire vehicle and notified me of a couple other minor problems that I authorized for repair. My vehicle repair was completed the next day and sent me text notification of completion. Huff's explained that they had reviewed the entire system to make sure it was operating maximally.l and notified me of items to watch in the upcoming days. When I came to retrieve my car, they were attentive, quick and helpful. They explained the problem and showed me the failed part. I will return with future repair needs on my Audi. read more

I am always apprehensive about new shops as we all usually worry about having people charge and charge us for everything and all the auto repair stereotypes. Recently I took my Jaguar to the shop for headlights replacement, also to possibly repair glove box lights. They said those were easy job and I paid for both jobs. They did replace the headlights, but after two trips, they never figured out how to repair the glovebox lights. One of the owners promised to call me back with a price quote using third party used parts, but he never did. I didn't want the hassle to try to get a refund for the issue that they did not fix. The technician left tools and materials on my back seat when I went to pick up my car, and the front passenger door got some scratches--I believe it happened when they tried to figure out how to repair the glovebox lights. For most of us going over there, I believe we do care about our cars and our experiences with auto shops, but quite frankly I was not so impressed by their skills and workmanship. Had a great experience with the staff here and will never get work done at the dealers again! They had a little higher of a rate then one other place I checked out but still 50% less than what the dealer was planning on charging me for a simple exhaust upgrade. Unfortunately it doesn't sound as good as I want because I didn't do enough reading, not the shops fault at all but If I ever need any work done I'm taking it here all day! These guys were super cool with me sitting in their lobby and even had a nice conversation with the front desk man, I think his name started with a D. I have come here twice before and wasn't disappointed, I wish I could say the same this time. I got an oil change on my XJ last year for around $100, still high but better than the dealership. This time I senselessly ignored the empty lot, and empty service bays and just handed them the keys. They tried to sell me new cabin air filter which I just changed two weeks ago myself, but I let it slide. They would have known this had they actually looked, but some mechanics assume you know nothing. Then when time came to cash out they wanted $220 for an OIL CHANGE. I would NEVER have agreed to that price and was under the impression that I would get the same (or reasonably close) price as last time. Then they threw the usual "but it's a jaguar" and "the oil alone is over $100 for that car". Nope, no damn way will I EVER step foot in this place again. Do yourself a favor and go next door to Danny's Transmission if you don't feel like getting fleeced. TLDR- tried to sell things I didn't need then doubled the price of the most basic of services. This is THE only shop I trust with my vehicles. I took my Audi here for several services including an issue the dealership couldn't diagnose. I have an Acura now, and even though they are a European shop, the shop foreman still goes out of his way to make sure my vehicle is running as best as possible. These guys are honest and straightforward and gave me a list of what my vehicle needed and when, and also what I could put off. They're less expensive than the dealership but have more personal service and the same knowledge. read more

Never ever bring your Saab here. No mechanic here has any idea how to work on a Saab. I took my car here to have my turbo worked on and my AC checked on due to a leakage problem. All they did was cross vacuum lines and put a band aid on the problem. As for the AC leak they could not figure out the problem. Had my car for over two weeks and all I got was a car that barely ran and non working AC. Cost me $800. Trash pure trash. They might specialist on other European cars but definitely not Saabs. I took my Saab a Saab specialist and they fixed all my problems within a couple of days! read more

Dropped off my car and the extended warranty paperwork with it. I was told they would verify what my warranty covers and call me to update me. I was asked to sign the estimate for initial diagnosis fee and I did sign that. I never got any call that day. After the weekend I get a call that my car is ready to be picked up which was a huge surprise as I never authorized any repairs. All I had authorized was an initial diagnosis. When I got there, I found that warranty company was never called as they "knew" that "this" would not be covered. I can understand that part but I asked why wasn't I called to give me an estimate of repairs?? Normally a repair shop would apologize for an oversight like this, instead I was told in a very curt tone that they could return my car to previous condition if I would like !! Since they already had my car for 3 days, I chose to pay what they asked for and get the keys. The car wasn't even washed which is a standard practice at any premium car repair shop. Overall, I had a very bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Beware of having automotive window tint film installed by Huff European Automotive. Upon arriving for tinting of the windows on my vehicle, it was determined that they did not have sufficient film to cover my vehicle. It was suggested that someone be sent to the local 3M warehouse to obtain additional film but the shop manager said no. This is o way to treat your customer and is certainly no way to earn repeat business. read more

I took my 97' Defender 90 in to Huffs for an initial service and inspection. Their D90 "specialist" looked it over, did the service, made several recommendations on future repairs likely needed, notably leaking coolant at the heads, but gave the truck high marks for being a generally solid example. A few weeks later the truck overheated in the Az summer and blew both head gaskets. Several weeks and several thousand dollars later Huffs had the repairs completed. It has been into the shop a couple times since then with check engine light issues. All told, 4-5 visits, and nearly $5K spent at Huffs. My circumstances changed, forcing me to sell the truck. Buyer took it to Huffs for inspection, at which point Huffs pronounced the previously "solid, never sell it" D90 now the worst example they had ever seen and told buyer to pass on the sale. Totally unethical, no explanations, just cut me off at the knees, killing the sale after dropping thousands of dollars in repairs at their shop. Never again, and I'll never recommend them to anyone for anything. Steer clear of these jerks. read more

Don't go here! I took my vehicle here to resolve a transmission code and a noise that started the same time. I was called and told my wheels rotor was warped causing the noise issues and needed to pay $1000; they were hoping I had no idea about cars and would pay them for nothing (rotor are perfect). This made no sense for the reason I brought it in, so i told them no i wasn't paying that. Told them to continue to figure out what the problem i brought it in for. The next day i call towards the end of day since I hadn't heard from them to see if they were done and they were confused and hadn't worked on it since i told them I would not pay to replace the rotors. They said they misunderstood and would start the next day. I was called saying it was ready, paid my $400 thinking it was fixed and the noise was worse. I was pissed, so I jacked up my car and figured out what was wrong in a couple of minutes, but needed to lift it up to fix it since I didn't feel safe on jack stands. I brought it back on the following Monday and explained how i found the real problem and needed them to fix it. The owner was a total jerk telling me i was lucky he was even helping me. I just wanted my car fixed so after arguing a good 10 minutes about them working on the real problem (yes, great customer service), i agreed to let them fix the cable. Another $400 to change a cable, went to pick it up and asked for a discount since they charged me the first $400 to tell me my wheel was the problem with my transmission; short answer NO! I told them they have lost me as a customer for life which they could care less and I left. DON'T go here!!!! They will lie and try to get you to pay for things you don't need. Take your vehicle to a shop that can troubleshoot a problem and not just make stuff up to get you to pay more. DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! read more
