I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't surprised that it tasted good because the ingredients looked fine to the eye, with the exception of the frozen meats. (If they need to be frozen to protect me from bacteria, I am cool with the freeze.) There is a wide range of materials to create your plate and the suggested pairings were very useful too. The cook staff was energetic and looked like they wanted to be there. I really like this place, but when I'm broke i can pretty much on my own. All you have to do is turn on all your burners to your oven or cooking range and just throw random food on there, sometimes its good and sometimes its horrible just like your ingredient choices at the Hut. read more

Wasn't familiar with the concept, but it's simple: fill your bowl to your liking, hand over to cook, and have it fried before your eyes. Liked the variety and freshness. The hot isn't really HOT, but you can add chilly oil. Friendly waitress, cold beer, and you can repeatedly get a plate. We went as a family of 4, but got the date rate (Wed special) nonetheless, which was amusing to our teenage sons. If you still have room after a number of plates, the choc cake is good. However, I don't think the menu has any connection to Mongolia, so beware if it's authenticity you're after. Note: the location is incorrectly indicated on the Yelp map, The Hutton Ranch Rd is more to the north (near Target). We had to search, which was unpleasant, but that isn't the restaurant's fault. read more

This is our favorite restaurant in the Flathead and we go there regularly. Love this food! I'm health conscious and it's hard to find restaurants with healthy food. The vegetable selection, the availability of tofu, the variety of sauces, etc. just makes this an outstanding choice. The decor is nice too. We are so happy to have found this restaurant with locations in many of the places we visit. Wow. We LOVE fresh vegetables and rice and just adore the set up at this place. Quick to get served and you get to select what and how much of everything. Fun cooks on the grill and you can have it with oil cooking or just water like steamed. Totally awesome. In Kalispell for business, we found this Mongolian Grill in a new Shopping Area. OUTSTANDING! Yes, it is "just a Mongolian BarBQue". That is what we were looking for. We found much more than "just". This is the BEST Mongolian BarBQue we have ever found. Great interior. Large food selection with items not found on run-of-the-mill Mongolian type restaurants. (Fresh eggs, rice noodles, ingredients listed for sauces, monthly special sauces, really fresh and crisp veggies, unlimited trips to the grill even for lunch). Incredible service from servers that speak clear English. Your food is not mixed with all the other food being cooked at the same time. Just a great experience overall. Our first server Courtni was just outstanding. She helped us with the menu, explained the drink choices and checked with us throughout our meal. Our second server two days later, Tari, took very good care of us. A Great experience both times at a very reasonable cost for lunch. read more

We really like Mongolian BBQ because you get to make it just how you like it. At HuHot everything was clean and fresh. There was one employee constantly refilling and cleaning the food area. All of the employees were super nice and hard working. An added bonus is that it's all you can eat. We don't live in the area but if we did we would definitely frequent HuHot! read more

We stumbled on to this place by accident. What a find! We got there about 9pm on a Friday. You pick misc. frozen food like at a salad bar and then they cook it for you on a big round grill. They have about a dozen sauces to pick from. They are awesome. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a little different experience than just eating out. Also it's all you can eat. With sausages, calamari, fish, chicken and every vegetable you can imagine. The combinations are endless. The only reason that it doesn't get 5 stars is the server sucked. She only stopped the table once. We had to ask another server for refills as ours was MIA. I will definitely go back again. I guess weekends they have shrimp as well. read more

this is my childrens favorite place to eat.. they love how fun the guys on the grill make it and they are only .99 cents now so I like the price... they serve beer which is a plus and the little waitresses are always attentive. don't like how incredibly loud it gets but its nice for the kids. the food is always good since you basically make it yourself.. the appitisers are a waste of money tho.. not very good but the all you can eat part is awesome for my teenagers read more

Food is good for the kind of restaurant, however our waitress was terrible. We asked for lemon several times and never ended up getting any.

Really loved this place. It was exactly what we were hoping for--. The staff and manager were friendly and the atmosphere of the place was pleasant. It was very much like the other Mongolian grill restaurants I have tried, but they had a great selection of sauces and so many veggies and meats to choose from! My hubby and I really enjoyed our first trip to a Mongolian Grill. We were seated straight away and the Staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed all of the food and it was cooked well (piping hot). I only went up once as I was full but my other half went up three times, there wasn't much of a wait. Overall we were really pleased. It's a shame we don't have a HuHot back home in Wales, UK but you never know, we might one day. We were pleased with the price. The only thing that concerned me was that the protein was frozen, I was always told you must defrost chicken, pork etc before cooking but hey I am British and was on holiday....I didn't come down with anything, so all was good.....I suppose it was fast food at it's best. Will make my own style of HuHot now we are back in Wales. By the way we just loved our 15 nights touring around Montana, as you would say it was just Awesome but we would say how lovely it was. read more
