You can buy the cornflake toppings in a jar that they sell next to the queue. You can also buy 2 pints, get 1 free from the fridge. One scoop is only one flavor. Parking here is on the street. I have been to ferry building and pruneyard many times but didn't get to try this icecream before! Finally got a double scoop cup from the ferry building location this past weekend! They were out of most of the popular flavors, but GOAT and Lavender Crumble flavors were still available. We got a double scoop (one of GOAT and one Lavender Crumble).. and both were mind blowing, grainy cheesy texture, pefect blend of cheese (goat cheese and olive oil in the GOAT one, and mascarpone cheese in the other one). Pink Jesus - rasberry ice cream is quite refreshing, it's a bit of sourly and texture like sherbet. Tahitian vanilla is great too, a bit overly sweet. Decided to stop by yesterday (a Sunday) around 6pm since the line wasn't too bad. When I got in line, there was only one person working the counter. By the time I got to the front, another person had joined them, but it wasn't clear if they were actually jumping in to help. The two of them were still chatting away, which at least gave me more time to pore over the menu, figure out which samples to try, and narrow things down while there was still a line behind me. At some point I realized the second person was waving at me, but I could barely hear them and it was hard to tell they were even addressing me. I asked for a couple of samples and wanted to try more, but the server just messily scooped the ice cream, so much so that I had to catch the drippings with my hand. At that point I just went with a single scoop of the first sample, mainly to cut the encounter off as quickly as possible. Once I paid, they set the ice cream down and went right back to talking with the first server without any other acknowledgment. I'm still thinking about the She's So Dewy special, but it wasn't good enough to wash away the sour taste this whole experience left in my mouth. For this trip, I tried the sesame and the earl grey on a waffle cone...unfortunately, this was the worst waffle cone I've had in my life. It was stale and was hard. The flavor for it was horrible. Hopefully they had an off day but this cone was so awful that I will never get a cone from them again. By the time we realized how bad the cone was, we were far away enough that we didn't want to go back to ask for a cup/new cone, so my brother-in-law who also got the same thing just suffered. For almost $11, this was definitely not worth it. Even though both the earl grey and sesame flavors were great, because we had to eat the cone in order to get to the rest of the ice cream, it unfortunately ruined it all. One star for the cone and the quality control of the cone but I gave an extra star for the ice cream flavors. read more
