The restaurant is located inside the gas station, but very clean & well kept with retro decors. Our favorite is the Carne Asada Tacos ($11.89 for 3 tacos). They are very flavorful & the beef is always made on point. One thing to note though - They don't have ketchup! We ordered a side of (plain) fries without knowing that. While their taco sauce was good, it didn't pair well with the fries. So bring your own ketchup if that's important for you! read more

This place has been popping on my tik tok fyp and i decided that it was finally time to try it. Huncho's is connected to a gas station along hwy 6. The interior is clean and spacious with a lot of indoor seating. After ordering the food to go I was worried how long the food would take since I've seen a lot of reviews of people saying it took a long time. Our order actually came out pretty fast. I ordered loaded al pastor fries, 3 carne asada tacos, and 3 al pastor tacos. I will say it's a bit more on the pricey side but they do load your taco with a lot of meat. Huncho Tacos really did their thing! I ordered the el pastor loaded fries, beef birria tacos, a fresh pineapple juice, and dessert, and everything was honestly a hit. The birria tacos were super flavorful and juicy, and the el pastor loaded fries were loaded for real... every bite had something on it. The fresh pineapple juice was so refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. And the dessert definitely put the cherry on top, such a good way to end the meal. I always get the Barbacoa tacos and they are delicious. They come with the usual onion, cilantro , guacamole etc. They also provide 2 sauces to add on the taco. The staff are extremely polite , they give you things like extra onion, cilantro with no fuss. Place is extremely clean. read more

I tried the rib eye tacos here on a busy Friday night. Note that they are still in their soft opening, so wait times can be long. I also recommend bringing your own water if you don't choose to indulge in one of the tasty horchata or hibiscus drinks. I think I have found one of my new favorite taco shops! This place is incredible and the tacos are so flavorful. I love the guacamole on them which I believe is the "Tijuana style" taco. I thought the tacos were big and there was a lot of food for the price which is great. The staff were very friendly! Like other people are saying, the food is pretty good and so are their aguas frescas but the place needs a bit of work. We left smelling like smoke so they need to turn on the hood vents or install some stronger ones, there was smoke all over the restaurant. The music was good but way too loud and had ads. The service isn't great. The fact that you can't order single tacos sucks!! Need to add some corn in a cup for dessert, free or $1 refills if they're really trying to be like Tacos Frontera (where is the free chicharron at?! ) The little red tomato salsa they add on all tacos should be disclosed in the menu or when ordering. The ribeye tacos are tender and perfectly seasoned, and the fajita torta is hearty, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The house-made horchata and agua de Jamaica are both excellent--fresh, not overly sweet, and the perfect match for the food.
