We walked several blocks from our hotel, after having walked three miles from the hotel where our family was staying to our hotel in the cheap seats. We were THAT determined to get Howie's pizza... then had to find the front door, because it looks like a bedroom door, not the door to a business. There's no sign. It's bizarre. Inside a sad surly woman took our order. She could not have made it more obvious that we were not welcome there. We ordered a half cheese, half special double pepperoni which was supposed to have two different pepperoni, garlic herb stuffed crust, and garlic sauce... we walked back to our hotel only to find there was only one kind of pepperoni, a plain stuffed crust and a small container of the worst butter garlic sauce that I have ever tasted. This was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. We did take out from here our first night in town, after a long day on the road. I ordered online, through their website, and it said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I found that hard to believe, but when I got their, it was almost ready! There isn't sit down dining here, it's purely take out. When you go in, there is a counter you can go up to - to pay and/or order. There is a long bench to sit on while you wait. When I got there - there were about 10 people waiting, but I was able to pay quickly and my food was ready within 5 minutes of getting there. Here's what we had: 1) Wings - these were good and juicy, but on the small side. If you're use to bigger wings, I'd suggest ordering more. 2) Stuffed crust pizza with several toppings on one side, and pepperoni on the other. This was delicious. I love their sauce - it has a hint of sweet to it. We were also surprised that the order was correct, given how many toppings we ordered and how we asked to have them split. The stuffed crust was yummy too (only available on a large pizza). 3) Garlic/Parm bread. We also had an order of garlic like bread. They give you a lot and it was tasty. It comes with Marinara sauce. We got a large Works pizza and a small garden salad. Delivery was pretty quick, they met my husband in the lobby. The front desk called our room when they arrived. I'm assuming that went well since hubby didn't advise of any issues there. I was surprised to see how big the small salad was. I mean unless they accidentally gave me a large, it was big! It had lots of veggies, and the app even lets you choose how much you want of each topping (I went light on the red onions). It also came with two packets of dressing. The pizza was really good. the toppings were flavorful and I loved the crust. It wasn't soggy, but my husband thought it could've been baked just a tad longer. Online ordering was a breeze and the delivery time was an estimated 20-30 minutes, but I like they have the tracker, so you can monitor the process from them receiving your order to the driver on their way. Our delivery person was a real sweetheart and very friendly. We took advantage of the two med. one topping pizza and howie bread deal. The howie bread was kind of greasy but I only had one "stick" because I was tired. The pizza must of been good because my husband ate more than a few slices. Got a bit disappointed and grabbed a piece. Wasn't burnt at all! Was absolutely delicious. Was spicy and really hit the spot. The cheese bread turned our really well also.
