The Hungry Howie's location sits in the Publix shopping plaza at the corner of the busiest intersection in Newnan, Millard Farmer and Bullsboro. I have ordered carry out from this location a few times, and never had any issues. We have order pizzas and calzones, all which are prepared and baked perfectly and timely! I placed my order online after not being to this location in over 2 years. When I got to the store I was completely ignored by the entire staff, I felt unwelcome and like I was a burden to the staff. When I was finally acknowledged by the staff he didn't smile, he didn't make eye contact, he just said "what do you want" and when I told him I had placed an order online he just turned around grabbed the pizza and just kinda pushed it towards me. When I got home and opened the box, the pizza wasn't cut, the crust didn't have any of the seasoning I placed on the order, and there was hardly any chicken in my Asian CHICKEN pizza. 0/10 would never recommend going to this location unless they fix their act. read more

This is one of our go-tos after a busy day for subs, salads, pepperoni pizza, and my daughter loves to have the 8pc wings. The antipasto salad is delicious, I have to get this when we visit, and the butter cheese crust is tasty! My favorite sub is the ham and cheese with red onion and black olives,. The bread is the right texture and it's perfect comfort food. I also want to mention that the franchisee goes over and above for customer service. Very pleased with this store. This pizza is good, but at what cost? One of the managers (possibly female - older) can be heard YELLING at employees. What about that behavior makes any younger person feel comfortable going there to eat or even stand in line hearing that mess. Stay away unless you're ok with eating pizza made by verbally abused and assaulted employees. It just makes me feel guilty and like I needed to tell the public. The store is also very small and unkempt. Not sure how their rating is so high. read more

Let me start with I have ordered from this location lots of times. However this last experience was not the best. I wanted to feed my family some delicious Hungry Howie's pizza. So I ordered my food over the phone like I always do at 7:05PM I told the man on the phone that I wanted two pizzas exactly the same. He then confirmed the ordered saying two pizzas and told me 45 mins- 1 hour for delivery. Which is totally understandable so no issue there. I check the clock and at this time it showed 8:30PM and still no pizza or phone call with an update. So I decided to call back up to the location where I got Amanda. She placed me on a hold to go "check the box" to see if the order went out. After she came back to phone little after 5 mins and informed me that my order didn't go out with the most recent route. Since it was dinner I decided to go pick it up. Upon arrival Amanda assisted me and informed me she made me a fresh "pizza". The guy on the phone only put in 1 pizza despite confirming 2. Here at this moment the frustration really start to sink in. I asked Ms Amanda to just refund me and I would find something else for dinner. She asked for me to give her a chance to make it right as she did not want to have me leave frustrated. After this moment Ms Amanda most definitely exceeded me expectations with making it right and I want to make sure that despite all the wrong turns Ms Amanda needs to be recognized for customer interaction and solutions to customer dissatisfaction. read more

Always happy with my orders. Hungry Howie's pizza and wings taste better than all the other pizza chains. As a previous reviewer stated, it's fast and cheap pizza. Yes there's not a whole lot of sauce or toppings if you order it as it comes but you can always customize it. So if you want more sauce then ask for it, it doesn't cost extra. If you want more cheese or toppings then it's going to cost extra, simple as that. You can even order the wings well done if you don't like them too soggy. If you really want specialty pizza then go to Lepoma's, Fabiano's or Christos in Peachtree City, but it's going to hit your wallet alot deeper. And every time I've been in to pick up my order EVERYONE has been super friendly. read more

I've ordered carryout from this place twice: the first time was the second day it was open, and the second was last night (5/29). Both times were about the same. I'd never had Hungry Howie's before, so I can't compare this to other locations. However, this place is pretty great. The pizza is good; it's nothing phenomenal, but it's pretty good, especially for the price! I've tried 3 different types of crust (butter cheese, asiago, and garlic & herbs) and all of them were good! The salads are tasty and fresh, the pizza toppings taste fresh as well, and the Howie Bread is huge! The only problems I had (which really aren't a big deal) were: 1. If you order a salad when you carryout, remind the cashier about the salad; they keep the pizza in a warm and the salad in the cooler, so it's easy to forget it; 2. The second pizza I ordered had a lot of cornmeal on the crust, but I just brushed it off. I'm sure those two issues were just due to new staff and they haven't gotten the hang of things quite yet, which is understandable. The prices are great, they always have great deals, and the pizza is delicious! Best affordable pizza in Newnan! Definitely the most and best bang for your buck. The restaurant is a pick up only spot. It's very clean inside. Right when I walked in there was somebody to greet me and take my order. My pizza came out quickly and is simply delicious. The crust is crunchy and soft, the ingredients are fresh and wonderfully distributed. The manager, Samantha, was great at making recommendations and remembered my name from meeting me before. OH, we've lived here about 5 years now and I think I have tried every pizza place in town. A couple I won't walk into again. That being said, this place is great. It's inexpensive fast food pizza, subs, salads etc. They offer plenty of coupons online if you take time to use them. I get the italian sub most of the time and the bread is hit or miss. Sometimes it is ripped as in did not completely bake properly. Salads are good. read more
