My coworkers and I joined together to eat at this well-known (at least to the locals) eatery. I kept hearing about the ghosts and other people's experiences so, I finally gave in and said ok (but just in case-had already planned on saging myself before stepping back into my house). We arrived at around 445 PM for dinner. We headed down to the basement, because my coworker said that it was a better vibe down there. I could "feel" the "oldness" of the building as soon as we walked in, but the vibe was overall cozy and nice. As we waited for our other co-worker to join us, I ordered an espresso martini (they use real expresso in it)-it was delicious! Once our other co-worker showed up, we ordered dinner-finally! I ordered the prime rib with baked potato and was recommended to try the whiskey peppercorn sauce. All in all, prime rib was fabulous, the whiskey peppercorn sauce was unique and so good!.....I could have gone without the overdone baked potato and underdone veggies, but that prime rib definitely made up for it! My wife wanted to celebrate at the steak house near house and she likes to call it an old school steak house. We first arrived and checked in and was greeted by the hostess and she indicated someone is celebrating something special! We were taken to our seat and the decor reminded us of a steak house out of a movie. I had a the porter house dinner with a Cesar salad, and my wife And the petite prime rib. The meal was overall good, I asked for medium rare but it did come out a little medium. Overall the experience was good and the waitress was pretty attentive, I always have my water filed. We had a party of 10 for a late Christmas celebration here, upstairs and we had the room to ourselves. It was very nice . We really enjoyed the experience. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We ordered just about every appetizer on the menu. They were all pretty good . The calamari was the only flawed dish . The chef accidentally over salted the appetizer. We each ordered either prime rib or a delicious steak. I had a perfectly cooked medium rare prime rib with vegetables and au gratin potatoes. It was delicious. Good food the quality has always been good and I've had both in restaurant and ordered through Postmates.

Unfortunately seems understaffed, especially for a Tuesday at 6:00pm. Our waitress was incredibly nice and professional. ( not her fault ) It is very obvious more help is needed ; a food runner would be helfpful to run drinks from the bar or serve food. Waitress was literally doing everything .. yikes on management . I had a terrible experience with this place and it was my first time here at this restaurant, I do understand we had a party of 20 and we had a reservation for my grandmothers 80th birthday, but when we got there they didn't input our reservation so we had to wait another 30mins.
