We were in between lunch and dinner time so servers were still arriving. I wasn't too thrilled with the half booth and chairs we were seated in but it ended up being ok. I prefer a regular booth. The food is always delicious. I enjoyed my salmon. It was cooked perfectly. I always go for the larger size. The Brussel sprouts are an upcharge but so worth it. Came in for my free birthday dessert and it did NOT disappoint! That chocolate stampede was HUGE! Easily for 2-4 people. It had fluffy chocolate cake and a creamy mousse topping with whipped cream and ice cream and plenty of chocolate shavings. Incredible. The hamburger was perfectly cooked and the sweet potato was the best pairing in my opinion with it. The butter and cinnamon make it just mouth watering. My husband and I came here for a later lunch on a Sunday. We had to wait about 10 minutes to sit at a booth, which was no issue. Once we sat down our waitress was very kind and we got all our food as ordered. We didn't have to wait very long. The food was delicious and everything was as expected. I had a $20 gift card so I ordered my lunch to go via their website. I went with the 8oz renegade sirloin, medium rare with the 8 redrock grilled shrimp and baked loaded potato. I only had to wait a few minutes and then I was roared down the road to my casa for my meal. The steak was perfectly made and it was a thick slab of beef, tender to eat. The potato was huge and I popped on the serving of sour cream, shredded cheese and bacon bits onto it. The shrimp were salty and plump, just like I enjoy eating them. What normally would be $33 dollars (I have the soup for later, $3) came out to be $13 with the gift card and enjoyed each bite. read more

I had a gift card for Longhorn so I decided to grab some food after seeing them several times on my Tik Tok recently for the Parmesan crusted wings. I've always loved Longhorn & recently saw a viral video about adding the Parmesan to the smoked wings. Let me tell you it was DELICIOUS! I also ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken meal as well which is the chicken breast topped with Parmesan it came with one side, which I got the baked sweet Potatoe and it came with some bread. They both were delicious but the wings are definitely a fav. The customer service was great and the ambiance was chill but steady for it to be lunch time. In the gratuity section, there is a note stating the following. " Suggested gratuity is added after the tax and before discounts". I totally agree adding all gratuities before discounts. I walked in and ended up leaving to go somewhere else and did not stay. It was gross feeling and dingy , cramped with tables , even a tiny table for two right behind the hostess station. It wasn't a nice atmosphere, the clientele was not normal for a steak house, everyone was cutting in line to be seated and walking in and out and wearing pajamas and hoodies. It felt like the carnival cruise of longhorns. BUT the first thing I noticed that ultimately was the deciding factor that I was not going to eat here was that as soon as you walk in the restaurant smells like blood , like red meat that has sat in the sun or something. It was not a nice meal steak and potato smell, very specifically it reeked of bloody meat. We decided to go to Longhorns because we haven't been in awhile. Of course we decide this on Mother's Day weekend lol. We were put on the waitlist with an estimated time of 35 minutes before we would get a table. We were actually seated in 15 minutes!! Once we got to the hostess stand she seated us right away in the BEST SECTION of the restaurant with a clean table and menus. We were in the back with a booth and we were immediately greeted by Sandra, our amazing waitress! Wow! Where do I start with Sandra? She was so kind and welcoming. She put our orders in promptly and correctly. She always checked in on us to ensure our drinks were full and our food was good. When our entrees came out, my husband's NY Strip was overcooked. He ordered medium and got more of a well steak. Sandra picked it up no problem and put another order in asap. Once it came out she waited for him to cut into it to make sure it was cooked right... it was!! Sandra is truly incredible at her craft and her knack to connect with people. She radiates positive energy, efficiency and compassion. She loves what she does and it really shines in her service. We also work in the service industry and customer service is so important to us. She hit it out of the park and really sets the bar on how every person in the service industry should be to their customers; knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. She has that in spades. We walked in with a party of seven during dinner time on 12/29/2024. The experience was immediately disappointing. The hostess at the door was unwelcoming and rude--she didn't greet us and just stared at us for about 20 seconds before finally asking, "Can I help you?" The restaurant itself was in poor condition, with messy floors and an unpleasant odor. As regular LongHorn patrons who visit locations across the country weekly, this was by far the worst experience we've had. We left right away without dining. Their red rock shrimp is to die for and served over rice which is what I always get. There's sirloin and red rock shrimp, is a great portion for only $20. I'll start with the good first. I was at you Altamont Springs, Fl. location Thurs. 3/6 at noonish. Your hostess' smile was as beautiful as her dreadlocks. And my server Ethan was super attentive and patient. I say patient because I kept him busy with some things. His was working at least 5 tables and when I left there was a line. For being so busy, The staff was friendly and calm. A total good vibe. The steak as always PERFECTION! The corn was burnt black on the bottom but I don't mind a lil burnt. Here's the not so good. You don't offer regular vinegar or a red wine vinegar. Couldn't have my salad. And the dirt and dust on the displays was a bit disgusting and not the way I'm used to seeing Longhorn's. IDK if it's just this location that doesn't dust or if it's becoming the norm, But, with your amazing food and skilled staff, It would be a shame to let the place go to pot.
