Love it here - chain restaurant with a hometown feel. Vibe and decor makes you feel as if you are on vacation. Tons of TVs. Ample outside seating for warmer days and large bar. Great spot to bring kids. We had a waitress named Megan, she was super attentive and sweet. Food always delivers with delicious burgers and wings. Kids options are great as they have healthier side options. Never been for happy hour, but need to go. Our go to spot!

I've never been to Hurricane but I must admit that it was a lot better than I thought it would be. I've had multiple opportunities to pay a visit in different areas and didn't bother. We decided the time had come and ordered a few things. I really love the wide variety of sauces and rubs to choose from. I was super excited to see mango habanero, being the pepper lover that I am. It was a nice sweet sauce with heat that builds up. It definitely wasn't as hot as I expected though. The garlic parm fries were soggy when I received them and I'm hoping it was just due to the plastic containers they were in for takeout. The flavor wasn't as great as I'd hoped but wasn't awful. Just a little disappointing. My fiancé was blown away by the firecracker shrimp though, so I guess that made up for the fries. He ate every bit and they smelled amazing. Just an FYI, when ordering a wing count, it goes by pieces. So the 5 wing order is 5 pieces (not the full wing which is the drum and flat). That was a little confusing when ordering because most places I've ordered from consider a "wing" the drum and flat. Because of this, the prices are a little expensive but the wings were tasty.

Well, first off coming in we were welcomed to a good host and asked where we wanted to sit, which was outside. The ambience and the scenery is wonderful. Once we were seated we were greeted with our waitress, asking us what we wanted to drink. Upon letting her know that we still need time to think she went ahead and let us be for the moment. She went to go get our waters, and came back in a timely manner. While still looking at the menu and decided what we wanted, we waited approximately 20 to 25 minutes, waiting for her to come back to our table to take our order. We also noticed that she did come back outside and went to another table and passed us completely, and went to another waiter, they were chitchatting. The only way she knew that we were waiting for so long was because another waitress had asked us if we were being helped yet. Although the food was very delicious and was very worth the price. We just wish that we had better customer service. Don't know if I'll be returning to sit and eat, but definitely will take the food to go.

Steak and fries not bad. Tbh you get what u pay for here with a 20$ steak, I'll definitely take it.

The views in the Hudson Valley are literally breathtaking from almost every angle of every city. My Wife and I have both had Farmers and Chefs bookmarked in Yelp for quite some time, so finally heading over was so exciting. It was a beautiful day so we headed to the patio. Love the indoor/outdoor bar area. I ordered a dirty martini. Made perfectly. We shared the Farmer's Wings, oysters on a half shell and a mixed green salad with Goat Cheese, soooooo good. My Wife also went with the Salmon & garlic mash served with green beans. Hella Good. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Our server, a very kind gentleman, who's name a cannot remember made our experience even more incredible by going above and beyond to direct the umbrellas just so that the sun wasn't in my Wife's eyes and our view of the walkway wasn't blocked. Amazing. I look forward to your next dinner at Farmers and Chefs and implore you to get your butt there soon. Cheers, The Happy Hour Huntress

We sat outside and it was mostly pleasant, aside from some pesky mosquitos -- citronella candles or similar would be helpful to have on the tables. I got the 50/Cut Burger on a bed of mixed greens (no GF bun option), and it was super tasty albeit slightly overcooked. The shoestring fries were also good. The Negroni I ordered had a good balance of flavors but I always prefer a big rock of ice vs. chipped ice, which waters down the drink too fast. But they supplied a legit Luxardo cherry, and that certainly elevated the experience. The service was fast & friendly. I enjoyed it, and would return to try some of the other menu items.

My daughter and I shared the Margherita pizza and the Garganelli Pasta with Short Rib Ragù, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with fresh, flavorful ingredients, and the short rib ragù was rich, tender, and incredibly comforting. Since it's a brewery, I couldn't leave without trying one of their beer flights. Our server recommended a selection, and every single beer was excellent. It was a fun way to sample their craft brews, and the recommendations were spot on. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the location makes it an ideal stop before or after a show at the Bardavon. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Poughkeepsie! Highly recommend.

This note is for the kitchen staff: Read the specifications on the order. When someone says they have a wheat or gluten allergy, you don't include said products. This includes your soy peanut dressing (soy sauce has wheat) which I had called the restaurant about a few minutes before I placed my order to confirm if it had any wheat or gluten products. You may end up serving it up to someone with a severe allergy and cause a lawsuit against your establishment.

Unfortunately, the appetizers were a rough start. The lobster bisque was very watery/liquidy, and the lobster itself was tough. The Brussels sprouts were also overcooked. That said, the staff handled the situation very well and were extremely attentive and accommodating when we sent the soup back. The main entrées were much better and really saved the experience. I had the sea bass, my husband ordered the ribeye, and my sister-in-law had the veal -- all were hot, flavorful, and cooked very well. The veal was especially tender. Service throughout the evening was excellent, and you can tell the team is trying hard to make this newer restaurant successful. Overall, while the appetizers and overall execution didn't quite match the upscale price point yet, the entrées and attentive staff gave us enough reason to come back and give them another try. Hopefully, with a little refinement, especially on the starters, they can grow into the fine dining experience they're aiming for.

Restaurant is in a space…read morethat's had a lot of turnover through the years, but reviews were good and it looked updated. Sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry mojito. Fresh strawberries and mint were nice to see, but there was hardly any alcohol in the drink and the straw was far too narrow to be able to take a sip without it becoming obstructed. Poured woefully short as well, topped with even more ice and seltzer. Had the tempura shrimp to start. Generous portion, well seasoned. Slightly rubbery but not detracting from the dish. Aioli was great, but could have used a little more. Chili sauce was also good, but could barely get any in the ramekin it was in. Bacon cheeseburger with mushroom for my main followed. Looking back, there was actually NO bacon on the burger. Not sure if the kitchen overlooked it, or what. $4 for added mushrooms seemed a bit exorbitant at first, but they were oyster mushrooms. Fries were crisp and wonderfully seasoned. Ordered the burger medium - came out medium and juicy.... But absolutely flavorless. If their head chef loved salt like their fry cook, this burger would have been spectacular. The mushrooms never got to drive off extra water because of the lack of salt, and the meat just fell flat without seasoning. I wanted to love this burger, but I just couldn't no matter how hard I tried. Had the crack pie, advertised to be similar to Monofuku Milk Bar... for someone who had crack pie multiple times before it became the phenomena it is now, this falls short, by a lot. The chess pie filling is far too dense, lacking caramelization. The pie crust was undercooked and anemic. Sugar decoration on top added zero value to the dessert, and coconut ice cream is far too competitive a flavor to put against this dessert. Sauces on the plate were weak and boring eye service. Paid my $80 bill, tipped (even though the bartender was rarely seen or asking how things were), and headed out. For a quiet weekday, the service and quality of food were severely underwhelming.
