This is the worst restaurant I have ever entered in my life. No service, food is terrible with higher prices. Customers are forced to pay 18% service fee. Then they even ask customers to put another 18% or 20% tips. This is not eating place. This is rubbery house. The most of restaurant business in NYC force customers to pay over 15% service fee. Then ask customer to pay other tips. what is wrong with NYC business. Charge tips should be based on services. Now, tips become these business' s fixed revenue. Tips culture in the United States needs to be terminated. Look at all other developed countries in the world, US is much worse than them in restaurant industry. Very disappointed at the food here. Although the drinks were awesome, I don't recommend the food. I came here with my significant other and his mother starving and we ordered wings, mussels, lobster burgers, and the rigatoni a la vodka. The wings were good and so was the rigatoni but the mussels and lobster burgers were way too fishy tasting. The baby back ribs had no flavor. It was recommended by the waiter and we regret getting it. I enjoyed the bread with the mussel sauce more than any of the dishes we ordered. The strawberry drink was the best. The Pina colada and their famous drink was ok. The price was super expensive for not good food. read more

Was staying at the Fire Island Hotel, so we got some food vouchers. Ron and Marie came over for the day to hang out with Jen S., Silly, Rickles, and me. After a morning at the beach, we cleaned up and went for lunch. It's a bar menu, so you will mostly get burgers and fried food. It's a premium prices due to location, so it is average food at above average prices. Standard for Fire Island. I had the chicken fingers, which were fine. However, our waiter was great. He seemed to be running all the tables...some with some drunk people. He was TCB-ing. Super friendly guy. Use the vouchers, it is the same bar food you'll get anywhere there. I would rate it negative if I could. Be very careful if your a guy!!! I went there a few weeks back for the Jones fight. We were not there 10 minutes and the waitress accused me of touching her inappropriately. Funny thing is she had not even come to table. I was never within 5 feet of a waitress the whole time. Then Super Bowl night my buddies went in there and again within 10 minutes they were kicked out due to a waitress saying they touched her inappropriately. This place is absurd. This place is not only so fun but the staff is just amazing!! Ryan and jimmy are the best bartenders ever!! We love them so much for going above and beyond! They truly made our stay so much better! Terrible on so many levels is the only way I can describe this food. Yes there are about three restaurants in ocean bay park, and yes this is the worst. At the very least, the drinks were decent so if you get really drunk it's possible that you may not notice how bad the food is. The Caesar salad was romaine with slimy re-heated chicken over the top. The fish tacos were so abysmal that we actually had to laugh.. 2 tacos served with a an inch by inch piece of fish, perhaps only slightly bigger than a quarter. So maybe one bite is fish? The rest Is dry tortilla with Some black beans and veggies... So sad. Waitress was sweet, but incredibly overwhelmed as she was serving the entire place. So it may not look like much, but the food served here was actually pretty good. I ate here twice with my friends; the first time we got the fish tacos which were good. Last night we got a feast: lobster sliders, burgers, mussels with thai curry sauce and zuppa di pesce. The zuppa came with shrimp, scallops, crab and mussels. So good. And fresh. And the Thai curry sauce for the other mussel dish was super tasty, too. We also had a blackout during dinner but they took good care of us in spite of it! read more

Never even knew that this place existed until my best friend and I rented our house here last summer! Once my aunt showed it to me, we came here nearly every day! This is such a relaxing, enjoyable, and fun place. Casual bar and small restaurant that has a pool, located within the Fire Island hotel. Food is on point and always delicious. Really, I just come here to swim, lay out by the pool and drink the amazing Rocket Fuels and Daiquiris! Bartenders are so friendly and easy to talk to while you wait for your drink. Customer service here is terrible, my husband order the burger with avocado and American cheese, they didn't put any of those in the burger, when we told the waitress she went back to the kitchen and with a attitude put the avocado on the table and said "here is more avocado" and again no cheese, on top of that charge for extra avocado on the bill. She never came back to ask how everything was, we finished our drinks and she was nowhere, we had to eat our food with nothing to drink, no napkins on the table and had to wait more time for the rice because they drop a pot of rice in the kitchen and they had to make it again, worst experience ever! read more

The BEST Bloody Mary I have ever had in my entire life. I am a Bloody Mary fan,... I make my own fabulous (spicy) Bloody Mary's,... but these ROCK! The rest of the drinks were pretty righteous too. We also had chicken Cesar wraps, and kids chicken strips all were a step above average soo we were happy!!! I ordered a drink and it came in a smaller glass I inquired about it and the waiter told me "I can take it and change it for you but they will only add more ice". Nice way to deceive the customer!!! This little restaurant located in the middle of the Fire Island hotel is one of Fire Island's hidden gems. I have been to this restaurant several times but never actually reviewed it. A group of us went last weekend and it just as great as the first time I dined there. We had such a fantastic meal that I thought I should post a review. The food here has been consistently great in all these years and it is absolutely my "go to" place when I visit Fire Island. Very casual and clean with a very laid back Fire Island vibe. The restaurant is intimate, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is incredible. Our group ordered a number of appetizers; mussels fria diablo, shrimp stuffed baked clams and wings all of which were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. For our entrees we ordered Chicken Milanese with arugula salad, the brisket and the coconut thai codfish which were all top notch. Great for date night or a family dinner when you want to get away from all the debauchery on the main drag of Ocean Bay Park. I would definitely recommend it - go ahead a give this little restaurant a try! read more
