I love this family restaurant. They have huge portions and the place is "different." It has an old fashioned feel to it, and they have a traditional swing set in the front with coin-operated kiddy rides. They have arcade games and coin-op candy and toy machines. The inside has a whole section of packaged junk food and soda for sale. Looking for a breakfast menu, you have to look above that section, because it isn't part of their actual menu-menu that serves lunch and dinner. I have been back and even brought family friends. We all enjoyed our experience there. Definitely recommend. It's not fancy, just a fun place to eat. read more

Found this place while driving around in Santa Ana. Convenient as they have a drive through and there was a line so it has to be good... Had their double bacon cheeseburger with fries . Burger was just your standard burger with cheese, the size was pretty big in comparison to other burgers but nothing more and nothing less. The bacon was pretty good however! The prices are definitely premium and not "$" but "$$$".i had $48 for two burgers Nearly $25 a burger (definitely restaurant prices). read more

Service is good, except they don't have a variety of food like other burger places. I ordered a chicken dinner and they gave me a side salad that goes with the dinner, the lettuce leaves were wilted and the pieces were shredded really small, looked like a day old. Did not enjoy my salad. read more

Do not come here they rip you off! I brought my kids and family to eat here and my kids put in money on the machines and 3-4 machines did not work. I understand there is a sign that says no refunds but they could at least put a sign that says "machines don't work". I spoke to the business owner and told him I did not want a refund rather put a sign that says out of order. But he refused and said it's not his problem and that it's all business. Yes of course it's business but it's not good service. It's a rip off to have machines that don't work and just coincidently put "no refunds". When I confronted the owner he was very upset and walked away from me. He was very rude and had zero regards for my concern even tho I told him multiple times that I was not there to ask for a refund. To add, the food wasn't all that great. I come here order a chile cheese burger. They give me a hamburger. I don't like to complain so I ask to put it in a to go bag. The lady who handles the money noticed that it wasn't a chile cheese burger she grabs it and hand it back to the cook no glove. Can't believe it took me over 22 years to finally take the time to try eating here. I always passed by here ever since I was a little kid. The service was wonderful! The cashiers were polite and friendly. The food was made pretty quickly for takeout too! The ambiance is that of a cozy diner. The food was delicious! The French fries were fresh and crispy. There were enough fries in a single bag to use up at least 3 ketchup packets! The double cheeseburger has a distinct tasty diner-style taste, different from the big fast food chains. I finally tried Husky Boy and the burger was super delicious, I wish I would have tried this place sooner!!!I got a double cheese burger combo with a ranch on the side and it was super delicious. The burger is one of best burgers I've ever ate. The food is 5/5. The reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is because of the price. I paid $17.50 for this combo which seems super pricey for a burger combo. We love the location in Laguna, but the food is just awful. Truly one of the worst hamburgers we've ever had, the meat quality is just awful. Burgers are just good old grub. The actual inside looks really old but cozy. Again nothing fancy but great for family of many many kids. Service is acceptable how ever bring cash otherwise they charge $1.95 per transaction. Unreal if you ask me! Luckily I had cash. Location is perfect for crusty the clown. The drive thru is terrible, they take forever to even pop out of their make shift drive thru window and when they do pop out they pop out with attitude. Run down chic? I don't know. I do know that their menu is huge. Breakfast foods, american favorites, mexican food, specials - it may take you a while to figure out what you want to try. Service was surly. I got a manager called because I wanted to use a credit card. Service was not with a smile, and there was a long wait for the food after I ordered. The food wasn't as good as I expected. From the reviews, I expected a fantastic burger, and many people mentioned the onion rings as worth trying. My burger was a little dry, and had shredded lettuce, mayo, and came with ketchup and hot sauce on the side. On my first visit i ordered the Jr. Combo meal that was $6.75 plus tax. The portion size was ALOT smaller than i would expect from a mom & pops spot. The drink was the same size as a water cup and only 1 free refill. I asked how much for a refill and the cashier said that there were no refills and that i had to pay $2.75 for a new cup! Wow! Not including the fact that the young woman working there was cleaning around me as i ate. I personally don't like that. My second experience i was charged over $20 for 2 regular breakfast platters. I absolutely love this place! I've been coming to this place for the past 3+ years or so. I usually come in to get the breakfast order "3 Egg Special," which is 3 eggs, hash browns and toast. It is a very good deal for what it is and for the price! The serving sizes here are quite large! I enjoy the burgers here too, but they're nothing special. The staff is very friendly!
