Their smash burgers are cooked perfectly every time -- crispy edges, juicy center -- and the Hammer Sauce takes them to another level. They also offer a variety of sauces for free, including chipotle mayo, ranch, and my personal favorite, the jalapeño ranch. All of them pair really well with their shoestring fries. We usually park in the nearby parking structure, which (if I'm remembering correctly) offers the first hour free. The only thing to be aware of is that the area sometimes hosts street events, and on those days the structure charges a flat $10 fee even if you're just there to eat. Otherwise, it's an easy short walk to the restaurant. Inside, Hammer Burger has both a bar area and a dining area. You order at the counter, and the food is brought out to you. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, great food, great service, and a solid spot for a satisfying smash burger.

They don't do anything wrong and overall it's good just doesn't amaze me. The price is a little high and the location is right next to 4th street so it's pretty good other than parking. Come try it because I'm sure it is worth it to try at least once. They also had 3-4 TVs and a bar area to come watch some games. Also a happy hour exists as well.

From the two, the gully smash was our favorite--it's like a classic smash burger but the addition of pastrami enhanced it! The Bhangra smash was definitely different than any burger I've had before but you can definitely tell the south Asian influences in this one. The burgers were both enjoyable, however, they were on the oily side and felt a bit heavy. I'd say prices here were also pretty steep for what you're getting. I'd say that this is a great option for halal burgers, but I think if you're not restricted to eating halal meat, there are burger options that I like more. The restaurant itself is in a food court that has a decent amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. Service here is friendly and you could really tell that they're passionate about their food here (which is always positive points in my book).

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable. Plus I think you and your establishment are great and I wanted to detail that as well Kimberly.

Exceptional burgers and fries. Holy Shiitake, That's a Vegan Burger?!…read more If you had blindfolded me and handed me a tray from this place, I would've been checking Yelp afterward to make sure it was actually vegan. That's how convincing and delicious everything is. I'm always hunting down cruelty-free comfort food and this spot is one of my absolute favorite burger joints. The fact that everything on the menu is 100% vegan makes my animal-loving heart ridiculously happy. The Chicken Sandwiches are my husband's favorite. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The texture is so spot-on that it could fool even skeptical meat-eaters. The breading had a satisfying crunch, and every bite delivered that classic comfort-food goodness. My go-to is the BBQ Burger! It's sooooo yummy! It's smoky, saucy, and is messy in all the right ways. The sweet-and-savory BBQ flavor paired perfectly with the hearty plant-based patty. The service was friendly and efficient. Price point wise it is kind of pricey. I would pay that price any day though! It's great food. A cruelty-free burger paradise that satisfies every comfort-food craving. Come hungry, order the animal-style everything, and thank me later. lol

One week you did not have the Breakfast burrito, and no one in the store seemed to know why. My latest experience was June 14 at the drive through. I told him my order, he stepped away for a few minutes and said " our chef just left and its not made"?? Huh? The guy at the window was very nice and he offered to make my order for me, but of course that took an additional 15 minutes. IN the meantime, 2 vehicles drove up and no one ever spoke to them. This store is SOOOO badly managed is unbelievable! Constant problems, unprofessional service. The food is good but I am just about done with supporting such a badly run establishment. Someone need to revamp this entire store, it looks almost abandoned and the service just sucks!
