This'll be a long one. I spent two nights here and had my wedding on the terrace. My hotel room was connected to the terrace and NOT worth the price I paid. There was an odd stain on the ceiling of my room and the curtains were ripped in places. The bathroom has less space to maneuver than something pre-created in the sims. When I came months ago to pick this hotel as my wedding venue. Richelle, the hotel coordinator I worked with, assured me that the floors to the terrace would be redone. Guess what? They weren't weren't and the bottom of my wedding dress is dirty. You'd think they would at least pressure wash the dirty floor but nope. Didn't happen. The day of my wedding, I was given 3 names of different people who would be at service to help. Ian Slaughter (Associate Director of Events), Kara, and Katie (Banquets managers). I only met with Kara. The other two were scarce but my husband said he managed to speak with all 3. I only met Kara. Kara spent a good 10 minutes looking for an outlet, looking around the wall and even in a bush. It seemed she was new to this or didn't know what she was doing. I had to beg her not to pile the outdoor furniture along the railing, because I wanted photos near the railing and of the beautiful Savannah river in the background. She told me every single room in the hotel was booked and there was not a single room available to hide some of the furniture. We managed to shove some of it into corners. While I was getting my hair done, I had to come out every 15ish minutes to a minor huccip to deal with. Including what I said in the previous paragraph. What also bothers me about Kara was how she spoke to the Spanish-speaking employees moving the furniture. Her confidence is her "Spanglish" was to the point that she bragged about it to other English speaking coworkers. Her Spanish was simply "uno momento por favor" and another intro to Spanish phrase. What made me choose this hotel was how Richelle assured me that the chefs there knew how to work with food allergies, both in person and in email. On the day of my wedding I couldn't eat about half of the food served because It was not served in the way I was told it was by the chef and Richelle. A separate plate of just the 3 proteins were served to me and they were pretty unseasoned. At least everybody else in attendance ate well and praised the food. But imagine your wedding day and you can't eat what you want because of the negligence displayed by the hotel. I won't it seconds and I couldn't get it any because they didn't set aside more food for me to eat. I straight up cried. Kara brought out a replacement soup but no other replacements or explanations as to why things weren't prepared how I was expecting it to be. I was given a shitty Italian wedding soup that I took one bite of and was sick of. TLDR: Don't say you can work with food allergies if you don't out in the work to actually to do it. Employees disappeared periodically. Wedding dress hem dirty because of unclean floors. read more

Stayed here this past weekend and thought it was a great location near the river and marketplace. The valet overnight parking is $37 which I thought was a bit much. We passed and parked across the street in an underground lot instead, and it only cost us $10. The atrium in this hotel is very impressive. We had to wait 15 minutes while others were checking in at 5:00pm. The front desk girl told us they oversold the king beds and wanted to give us two double beds. I told her we were guaranteed the king bed and asked to speak to the GM. She came back a minute later and said she found us a king bed room. We get to the room and it's two double beds. I call the front desk and they apologize and said they gave us the wrong room, and ask us to go back down to the front desk. I asked if they can just bring the new keys up, and they refused. Back we go to the front desk to get the new keys. How frustrating and a waste of time. The new room was big, but very humid inside. The bed was comfy, but with a very thin top blanket. The TV was too small. The bathroom had very little counter space. There was no freezer section in the fridge. The hotel itself is in a great spot, with an elevator to the famous river street. It also has a cool bar overlooking the street. read more

We went to savannah for a weekend trip and we booked Hyatt regency for the trip. The check-in process was easy and loved the staff they have. They were friendly and ready to help the guests. The room we booked was the king room with a city view. The room was neat and clean and had all the essentials required for the trip. The hotel has a gym, pool, bar where different types of drinks are provided, they also have a small restaurant where one can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just gonna add to bad reviews here.. -The fees are OUTRAGEOUS. They claim "$131" for the room for the night yet we ended up paying over $200 with fees including $48 for valet parking.... -Idk who designed the shower but it leaked water everywhere even out of the bathroom into the hallway -Cleanliness is subpar, stains on the walls and weird smudges on everything like doors and handles -If you have a room on the inside atrium it's super dark and depressing and LOUD at night. All we heard was people screaming and the elevator all night. Had to sleep with ear plus. AVOID this hotel if you expect nice things. read more

Positives: hotel was beautiful, great location..right on the river and within walking distance to great shops, restaurants, and sight seeing spots, valet guys were super nice and helpful, front desk was quick and efficient, room was spacious, beds were comfortable, either an indoor balcony or river view balcony for an extra charge (we stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the lobby), pack and play for baby available upon request, indoor pool but we didn't use it, fridge and coffee maker in room. Negatives: valet was FORTY DOLLARS, no microwaves in the room but a microwave on every floor at least. read more

She was beyond helpful in her knowledge of everything, and she provided the highest level of customer service ever received at any Hyatt I have stayed! I also received great help throughout my stay from all of the food and beverage staff that worked the conference I was attending. I will write a separate review for the check out since the ball was fumbled and that point and I don't want to take away from all of the great things I experienced from other staff for my 1st 3 days there. read more

The restaurant is solid with good food, and the staff's been friendly, but the rooms are a bit of a letdown. There are stains in the bathroom, and the ceiling is chipping, which isn't exactly the vibe I was hoping for. Tried to clean up a bit using the tissues they provided, but got just one stained piece in the entire box. The beds are comfy, but it makes me wonder if the cleanliness is up to par in the other rooms. They've got potential, but some serious room improvement is needed. Well, that was disappointing. I have frequented many Hyatt restaurants and this is a first for off the charts on the disappointment scale. Okay, I get the "reduced" menu, but the menu is practically nonexistent. For the sake of the review, we will go with reduced. Reduced options should not mean reduced quality. My husband and I both ordered a hot ham-n-cheese. At minimum, one would expect it be...well, hot. It wasn't even warm. Although, the "ham", which was clearly poor quality, thinly sliced luncheon meat, had been grilled to brittle dryness. The menu was void the listing of any side items. When we asked our sever about the availability of fries or chips she returned with chips which has passed their "serve by" date a month ago. In full disclosure, while the chips were stale they were served free of charge. On a positive note, our sever was quiet pleasant. However the cashier and the cook had clearly not completed their hospitality training. Come on folks, when you order wine at the Hyatt you do not expect it to be served in a plastic cup. I don't care if you have outside seating, require the plastic there, but not inside. In all honesty we ate here because it was Sat night and all the other restaurants had a two hour wait. If I had a do over, I would wait the two hours or grab Five Guys. Save yourself thirty bucks and a disappointing meal. read more

We had a upper suite which was supposedly their best room available but it was dirty so many random smudges everywhere, a sink they drained very slowly and had an ant problem. Yes there ants in our room. Hotel workers are slow to help. They did not do a good job of vacuuming the carpet. The room was missing sheets for the fold out bed so I had to request them. One of the sheets had big black stick spots so I request again. The gym was really run down and also too hot. I can't believe this is a Hyatt. Pros: You can't get any closer to River Street. Beautiful view of the river.Hotel staff very friendly. Stayed in a balcony room overlooking River Street. Great location for people/ship watching. Damian with the valet service went above and beyond. Wonderful service from him. He even went to find my keys when 2 others had looked and said they could not find them. Cons: The valet staff working in the motor lobby were not friendly or helpful. We stayed 2 nights and had issues both days. Had Damian not showed up one evening, we would have missed the wedding we were attending. The 2 working had searched and not found our keys, so they said that the valet Mgr who we left them with (hours earlier) must still have them and left us waiting. Fortunately, Damian arrived to drop off keys and we asked if he could help. He immediately went in the office and came back with our keys. Also, the text system to get your car only worked 1 out of 5 times for us. System needs work. Other than the nonchalant attitude in the motor lobby it was a great stay. As always with hotels the bed could have been softer, but that seems to be an issue anywear. read more

The best thing I can say about this hotel is the location. The valet service damaged my vehicle and claimed no responsibility, stating that they did not cause the damage. That is a total lie. I would not pay $700 a night again to stay there. Also, the valet service was extremely slow. Understandable when we checked in at 3pm on a Friday, but checking out at 9am, with no one else waiting for their vehicle and waiting 40 minutes for you vehicle is unacceptable. Then, finding your vehicle damaged is inexcusable. It was a horrible experience, and I would tell anyone to look for a different pace to stay. read more

I enjoyed my stay here. Came here just for one night (Wednesday night) before we stayed in an air bnb. They have happy hour from 4-6pm so we enjoyed that right before we got into the room. My mimosa was on point! Loved the decor from the lobby to the room. Very cute and modern. The room was very clean and that's much appreciated at a time like this. The water gets very hot and the pressure in the shower was good. I look for a good shower when I'm away. A little too much pressure at the sink though. The water was spraying everywhere......all over the sink, counter, wall, and your clothes. We grabbed some chicken fingers and fries to munch on at the restaurant in the lobby. They were really good. It was raining outside but the view outside the restaurant is beautiful. The port is close so you see all the huuuuuge container ships packed with cargo. Biggest ships I've ever seen! There are also fire pits outside that added to the ambience. The location is perfect! The hotel is walking distance from many restaurants, stores, and the downtown nightlife. Perfect spot! read more

This hotel had some highlights and some downfalls. The location is perfect for seeing and doing everything you want to on both the River side, and the historic side. Aside from that, it's your standard hotel. If you book, try to get a corner room. The room has two sets of windows and gives you a great view. The downside is the elevator situation. COVID's social distancing needs has caused the only TWO working elevators to have lines of people waiting to go up from the lobby, making it much faster to just take the stairs, even with carrying luggage. The stairs are not easily found, we ended up having to ask the concierge how to actually get up to our 4th floor room because after waiting for 15 minutes in line for the elevator we had to find another option. There is a $38/day charge for valet parking, so if this is a deciding factor, keep it in mind. We were completely unaware the Savannah essentially goes dark at 10pm on Sundays and tried to find a late night dinner choice. The options were all but nonexistent. This is no fault of the hotels, obviously, but we decided to try to get something at their "Corner Market," a small selection of assorted snacks and drinks. This would have been a great solution if the prices weren't ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I will spend far too much for far too little, but $3 for a small bag of Cheetos, Hershey bar, or pack of Orbit gum...and $15 for a small boxed sandwich and bag of chips? No way. I grasp the concept of an up charge for convenience, but there should be a limit to that sort of nonsense. read more

This hotel's lobby is amazing. The views from the room to the river are amazing. The elevators are amazing with full view of the hotel. What's not that amazing is the rooms. We went to the first room they assigned to us, the floors were sticky. The second room was better but still not up to par. I like Hyatt hotels so this one was a bit of a let down. Maybe some renovations are needed for the rooms. Overall a decent stay. We were in Savannah a couple of days so this was overall relaxing. It's a walkable city from this hotel. The closeness from the hotel to multiple restaurants is nice. They have valet service, at the end you pick up your vehicle from lower level which is good so you don't have to experience the cold outdoors if you are going on cold weather. Covid tip - With covid, you need to be wearing your face coverings for the common area of the lobby etc. read more

Their PURE WELNESS Room was filthy, dirty just disgusting! Came up to Savannah for my boyfriend and I birthday. It's the 1st time visiting Savannah. I always loved the Hyatt brand so I booked the Pure Wellness room at the Hyatt Regency. What a complete nightmare of a room. It was filthy, dirty and dilapidated room! The bathroom was absolutely filthy! The floor was filthy dirty. The room was reserved for 3 nights and we ended up leaving the same day we checked in. Due to the fear of getting sick being in their Pure Wellness Room. I could only imagine what a normal room looks like.. didn't want to take that risk on my health. During the pandemic we are in, you would believe because it's a Hyatt brand. That the Hyatt would take cleaning their rooms at the highest level ! You could of gotten sick just being in the room. We really enjoyed our time here. We got a good deal for two nights. I'm military and if you are too go through Id.me for awesome discounts. I believe government officials and some other occupations can use this as well. Check in was super easy and we checked out online. We called to ask if we could check in early and were told yes and that there were plenty of rooms available, but when we got to the hotel to check in another lady said she'd waive the early check in fee since we're Hyatt reward members...if there was an issue with them trying to charge the fee I would've brought up what we were advised by another employee, but thankfully it didn't get that far. Our room was nice. We had zero issues and had a city view. Other reviews mentioned being woken up by a boat horn, but the only time I heard it was one time at 9:30am. Downside: Their only pool is indoors. If you care for that cool, but I'd rather it be outside. Also, no microwaves in the room but there is one located on each floor. Upside: The curtains are black out curtains so it's nice if you want to sleep in, just make sure you don't sleep all day because it's very easy (unless you want to). We were able to walk everywhere so this is the perfect location if you don't want to use your car. Right in the heart of downtown and on the river walk. They have no self parking only valet for $37 a day. I read other Yelp reviews which said to park at the Whitaker parking garage which is across the street from the hotel. It's $16 a day Mon-Fri and a flat rate of $10 on sat and Sunday, but there are no in and out privileges on Sat and Sun or you'll have to pay again. I'm not certain if this is the same Mon-Fri. We were asked during check in if we used valet, but I'd make sure and tell them if they don't ask so you don't get charged. When we left to go home on Sunday there was no parking attendant at the Whitaker parking garage and the gate was open so we didn't end up paying anything for parking. I'm guessing we just got lucky.... Also street parking is free on Sunday, but it fills up quick. Would definitely stay here again, but we checked out the new JW Marriott (a couple hotels down) and it's amazing! You must check out the dinosaur and crystal exhibits (open to the public) and the roof top bar. It's more expensive, but something you should look into as well. read more

We tried checking in 2 hours early with our three young kids... they couldn't accommodate us, and that's fine. We left and came back a few mins past 4 when the room is guaranteed to be ready. Still not ready... so now we're all tired... hungry and waiting in the lobby with a bunch of kids that are ready to eat and go to bed soon. They didn't attempt to put me in a room that was ready, or accommodate me in any way. I stay at hotels 1-2 times a week, and have never felt inclined to leave a negative review. Traveling during a pandemic can be stressful, but the Hyatt Made me feel so comfortable!! They have a mask mandate and even Valet has to wear a mask. The check-in was friendly and fast! The lobby and general common areas were PRISTINE! On to the room...AMAZING! The room was so clean and the view is to die for!! Its right on the river and I had two walls of windows! (1 of the river and 1 of River st.) The bar...A+ !! I forgot the bartenders name but she was great! We went and sought her out for night two as well. The entire hotel is relaxing. I've stayed at this Hyatt several times; once in college in a room full of party animals, once on business, and this past time with my family. This past stay was my best yet because we got a sweet deal at one of the best and most convenient hotels on River Street. For $118 a night we booked a room for 2 nights; and when we arrived we were upgraded to a sweet corner room with a view of the city and the river. Check in was easy and friendly, our room was clean, it was quiet except for the occasional boat horn, and because of the pandemic we didn't have to deal with very many people staying there. You can't be the location of the hotel; the elevator lets right out onto River Street where you can turn and walk either direction to find something to do; be it browse shops, eat dinner, have drinks, or just enjoy the scenery of the Savannah River. As far as COVID precautions the hotel required face masks in common areas, required reservations to use the gym or pool, and employees were constantly cleaning the hotel the best they could. The only disappointment to the hotel is it only has valet parking at $38 a night. We opted to park in the Whitaker Street Parking Garage across from the hotel for $16 a night. It would be more convenient if they allowed self parking or if the valet cost a lot less. read more

Everyone who works here is as nice as can be. It is also EXTREMELY close to the River Walk. The rooms are very dark and it's difficult to keep them at a comfortable temperature. They are either very damp and warm or very damp and cold. There isn't much in between. We ended up with two double beds instead of the king we requested. I feel this is something that happens often at this hotel just from reading the reviews. They "upgraded" us to a "city view" room since they could not accommodate us on the room we booked. We were also there for a conference, so not sure what role that played into it. The double rooms have a bathroom with a tub/shower combination, a toilet, and a sink area. We definitely prefer the sink/vanity to be outside of the bathroom so that one can use that while the other is using the facilities. They do have a makeup mirror (not attached to the wall) but it doesn't light up. This place is so dimly lit you really need one that lights up. There is also a hair dryer but it's going to take you a while to dry your hair. After a certain amount of time the tv shuts off on its own and it takes a while to restart it so don't be too invested if you're watching your favorite game show! There is not much water pressure in the shower, although when I held my hands up I noticed that it was much better closer to the shower head. (I am short so, maybe that played into it!) The pillows were actually fine. I had read reviews that complained about the pillows, but these were not bad. We also brought a couple from home so that helped with the pillow situation. The very worst part about this room however, was the mattress. It was SO hard and uncomfortable, I actually woke up one night with my knee in terrible pain just from the way I slept on the mattress. At first I thought it was due to so much walking, but some time after shifting positions, it was back to normal. If you're the type of person who likes to load up your own bags on a (luggage) trolley cart, you can forget about it. They insist on sending a (very nice!) bellman up with the cart. I even looked in the drop off area on a busy Sunday trying to find one, to no avail. They really do need a lot more of those carts bellman or no bellman. (There was only one bellman on a busy Sunday morning.) As stated before, the people there were so very nice, I hate to leave such a bad review, but for the money charged, you should at least have a comfortable room and a comfortable bed. read more

The location of this hotel is perfect! Right on River St. and within walking distance to other restaurants that are not on River St. They have a nice restaurant/bar at the hotel. I only had drinks there (Moscow mule) and they were really good. Other than that, the rooms, service, and hotel were pretty typical for a Hyatt. read more

Missed our connecting flight into Savannah so called hotel immediately. Since we paid for our room with 2 queens beds we wanted to make sure when we arrived at 8an the following morning our room would be available. They said it would be no problem. When we arrived early the following morning we were informed our room was given away but they had a room with a PULL OUT COUCH AVAILABLE! So you take our money, give our room away and give us a pull out couch?! After much negotiating they said they would have a room with a king size bed available later in the afternoon. It was not a king size bed, but a queen, previous guests left their socks on the floor and they were still there when we went to the room. Day 3 there was no service to the room, no towels, bed wasn't made...called down for 2 bath towels and 2 washcloths ..they brought 2 hand towels and 2 boxes of tissues. There were numerous other issues...I would not stay here again even if it was free. read more

Pros: the lobby looks nice and the staff are friendly. Cons: This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. Maybe 2.5 if that. Which means we way overpaid given the lack of quality of this property. The food is very overpriced too, and it's not even that good. For example, our breakfast was mostly served cold (I.e. waffles and hash brown). Grab and go sandwich bread was very soggy and inedible. Staff did not follow all food allergy related instructions, which could've been very dangerous health-wise for my son if I hadn't noticed. Also, the room is very dirty and needs updating (like mold all in the shower and sink dirty, even though they say they're doing extra cleaning for Covid mitigation). There's dust everywhere like they've never heard of cleaning products like bleach and swiffers. Further, after getting my brand new car back from valet on day 1, the car that has not been parked or driven by anyone but me since it came from the dealership until yesterday, it's already damaged. The noise level - expect large cargo ships to pass by blowing what sounds like loud fog horns at least several time per day, including at night. The view. It's mostly a rusty construction site across the river. Seriously. Just stay somewhere else. read more

The Hyatt Regency Savannah is beautiful, upscale, and modern, without feeling stuffy. The front-desk staff, valet attendants, and bellman all exuded hospitality. My husband and I were fortunate to find at check-in that we had received a complimentary upgrade to a terrace room. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and fairly large, but having access to our own little patio and the fourth-floor rooftop deck was icing on the cake. We enjoyed sitting out there in the evening, sipping wine and taking in the views. Aside from the terrace, I also really enjoyed that there is so much seating in the lobby. I loved the comfortable beds, the plentiful outlets throughout the guest room, the nicer toiletries and coffee/tea selections, and the roomy shower (now if only the whole bathroom could be a bit roomier). Everything is within walking distance, parking garage across the street for $16 a night and a Starbucks that opens at 6am. I brought my breakfast back to the hotel and and ate downstairs in front of the giant windows watching the sunrise. The hotel does have a decent breakfast with coffee as well. Cons: valet parking is $38, bathroom was ..ok, room was quiet for the most part...meaning my room faced the River which has bars and restaurants and the guy next door kept coughing all night and morning. I stayed here for a night while passing through Savannah for work. My room was absolutely gorgeous -- it had the best views of the river and a view of the city too. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. I loved the proximity to the river, just exit the door and you're there (there's even an elevator that will take you right down to the water), and all the charming squares of Savannah are just a short walk away. The only thing that was amiss was the elevator situation. Only one was operating and because of that people crammed in despite covid regulation, or it would take for a long time for the elevator to become available. There's a parking garage across the street, which has affordable rates. The river view bar at this hotel was very good. I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend this place. read more

So disappointed in our stay. Starting out - Apple Maps directs you to riverside, which is not helpful for parking your car. I get that this is not Hyatt's issue, but let's just say it was a sign of things to come. Valet only, but there is public garage nearby. Check in went fine and the front desk upgraded us to an exterior room, which was nice. However, in hindsight, an interior room would have been quieter. We were on the sixth floor but it sounded like we were on the actual street. As further evidence of the soundproofing of the hotel, we were regaled by the sounds of the enthusiastic coupling of our neighbors. Good times. (Not really.) This was in the middle of Covid-19. We noticed one of the washcloths was stained. The bathroom had a lot of buildup behind the door, suggesting that wasn't cleaned. The dresser had weird white residue on it, which even after asking that it be taken care of, remained throughout the stay. The next morning our fire alarm started chirping. Not like a fire alarm going off, or like it needed a battery being replaced. No, this was like an alarm clock. In the wall. That could not be shut off. We ended up leaving our room earlier than planned to avoid it. We also had to call engineering up later that day because our toilet clogged up and wouldn't flush. There was a wet spot on the carpet when we came back. (Did they put the plunger on the carpet?! We don't know, we weren't in the room.) Other issues - the elevator button didn't light up and/or the elevator wouldn't arrive, the hand sanitizer dispensers were frequently out, there were a bunch of towels on the floor of our level after a rain and a fan on it when we came back later, and the carpet down the hallway is a tripping hazard with a hump running down the floor. Beautiful hotel. Came here for a conference. Only saw the room of one of my colleagues' and it was insanely big but beautiful. They have a really cute rooftop patio that I really enjoyed watching the sunset from. You have the view of the river as well from the rooftop. I ate at their main bar and a cocktail (forgot the name) but it was very delicious and I also had the cherry cheesecake (I was dying for cheesecake but wasn't sure about the cherries, turned out to be AMAZINGLY delicious). Overall for the conference, it was a GREAT place to have it at. I'm sure I'd love to stay there too if someone paid for me. read more

This will be a nice place when they iron out some bugs. Location is good. Reception staff very efficient and cordial. Mr Phil, the concierge, is great. Problems are in the areas of food and drink and housekeeping. The bar had two bartenders but they focused on one area rather than sweeping the whole bar area to take orders. The food was very poor, even by hotel restaurant standards. Servers were very courteous and efficient. Housekeeping: our room had no water in frig and no extra toilet tissue. No one answered the phone. Had to call the front desk to get tp. No one ever serviced our rooms. Hope they tighten up in their improvement opportunity areas read more

A decent hotel room in a good location. Being in the heart of a historic city the you'd think rooms would tiny, but they actually are not too cramped. The bathrooms are on the tiny side. I think this is typical of being in downtown Savannah so I'm not knocking anything for this. The room was clean and did include everything we needed like a refrigerator and coffee maker. On site is a shop to purchase food items, a full service restaurant with bar, and a coffee bar. The location can't be beat. Walk out the front door to a main road that offers a short walk to pretty much everything a tourist would want to do in Savannah. There is also an elevator that drops down to the back of the building directly onto the pebble road by the water. Down there is plenty of shopping and food. We also found one of the trolley stops just a few steps away. The valet parking upon arrival was a disaster. The process was slow and cars were backing up into the road. This was far from a well oiled machine. The valets were friendly, but they were disorganized. I'm glad we had a rental because cars were just being left and we watched a bus nearly hit several of the cars just sitting in the main drive. The process to retrieve our car at check out was easy. In that case there is a small room with complimentary water and seating while you wait for the car to be pulled up. read more

This place will always be relatively special to me because it was where I stayed with my husband when we were getting married. The rooms are clean and large and the view is nice. The staff working at the restaurant in the lobby are great. That's about where the positives end. They lost one of my welcome bags for my guests. Instead of apologizing, the woman at the front desk berated my mother. There was never anything done to remedy THEIR mistake. On top of it all, the manager came up and told my mother that both her and the staff member were in the wrong. My mom never raised her voice nor was she disrespectful. She was excited and happy about being there and the two women genuinely ruined her day. Not cool. They lost a pair of my Lulu Lemon leggings. For reference - they are $100 leggings. When I asked them about it, we got a lot of talking in circles from the front desk and 0 apologizing AGAIN. Miraculously, 3 hours before we were supposed to leave, we received the leggings but were not notified they were found. We went back to the room to find them. Guess where they were? Hanging on OUR DOOR. They didn't even bother to put them inside. I was lucky people were kind enough to not steal them. We had the most beautiful wedding. Despite it being a destination wedding, we had 0 hiccups except for this place. The only stress we had throughout our entire wedding experience was born and bred at this establishment. The front desk staff and their manager are rude. I don't like having to write reviews like this, but if you are planning a wedding, avoid staying here. read more

This is our second time at this hotel. The first time was about 8 years ago. I see all the beautiful upgrades in the lobby, rooms, and bathroom. Front Desk-Very welcoming...oozed hospitality. She informed us that our room wasn't ready, but took our number to alert us. I asked if they could take our bags while we went to go get something to eat. She said yes and directed us to the bell hop. Could have given more info. about the pool/fitness, restaurant hours at the hotel. Bell Hop-He took our bags with a smile. He didn't give us a ticket. I guess they knew who to give the bags to later. We were alerted at the restaurant that our room was ready within the hour. Bags were delivered to our room. We have a tip. Room- I reserved a room overlooking the river with a balcony. Balcony is very small. It is there for decorations or to take a picture. Good-spacious, clean room, large screen tv, shower- decent size, hot water, quiet Bad-small bathroom, phone was not cleaned( makeup)-I wiped everything down with a Clorox wipe. Housekeeping-Excellent! When we called to ask for toothpaste/toothbrush, extra towels, and etc, they were very efficient. I have no complaints. Concierge-Excellent!! He was fantastic. I can tell that he loves his job. He is a seasoned concierge with a wealth of knowledge. He even informed me about a place I could visit in my city. See you soon Hyatt!! read more

They get a star for location and for all elevators working which isn't typical for Hyatt. Valet was pretty easy and that team was friendly. Everything else was typical Hyatt. Double beds that aren't comfortable. AC didn't cool and engineering just turned it down lower. That's not how AC works, engineering. Lol! Bathtub didn't drain properly. Location is really great but go over to the Andaz for a little more upscale experience. read more
