We didn't go for awhile but decided to stop in to get his hair buzzed off. In the past it was always $15, the prices aren't posted and the woman working didn't mention her prices beforehand. I know I should have asked but I'm human, I forgot. I asked her to do a 3 on top and 2 on the sides. She did it all one length. She charged us $30 to shave his head all at a 2. I told her that it had always been $15 before and she tried telling me that it's 25 and she charged 30 because his hair was long. It was medium length at best. This is what $15 will get you at i Barber on Beach Blvd in Huntington, Beach I requested a taper fade on the sides and the back and this is the result. She cut off 5 of my locs and I can't even begin to explain how pissed I am. I strongly DO NOT recommend this shop if you're a person with coarse hair or locs. This is really unbelievable. Also, I expressed how I didn't like the haircut as she was cutting it, but it was too late. NEVER AGAIN. This one lady had something rude to say every single time I've come here with my boyfriend. Stupidly we came here again to get my babies hair cut. Once she put the cape over my son I went to take a picture and she told me she didn't want to be "videotaped." So I couldn't take photos of my son getting his first haircut. She told us we couldn't sit with our baby so we watched from the waiting area. He almost fell over! so we got up and went over there with him and she said it was fine. For about 5 mins my bf and I watched my son get his hair cut. My son was doing soo good! And everything was fine, my son was still doing good because I was there comforting him. My bf went to the car and the second he walked out she stopped what she was doing pointed to the chairs and told me to sit over there and get away from my son away from the chair. Absolutely ZERO stars. Unfortunately this shop has gone down the drain. Not because of covid. They've been open. Its due to lack of staff, only 1 lady and she has the WORST attitude. Like its very obvious she hates her job. Sge was very rough (eye poker) and argues with you when you tell her how you want your hair cut. I literally had to just tell her to just cut it all 1 length to get out of tgere. Fade was the worst! Patchy. Top is all different lengths. Does not care enough to advise according to her professional opinion, you are all on your own here. Very uncomfortable and horrible attitude and quality. Really bad experience for a beard trim Not speaking for their haircuts because I didn't have that done but I came in needing a slight beard trim down to a 1.5 and to just line it up. The sign in the window says "opened" (its 523pm and it still does), so my boyfriend went in for a walk- in haircut at 430pm- the sign says they close at 6pm. There was multiple men getting a hair cut and the person inside said they were closed. We then saw new people walk in- wait- and get their hair cut. The only thing I can think of why they refused service was the entire place was Hispanic and he is white. If they only specialize in a specific culture's hair texture, it should be advertised as such. Maybe they want s to close early? Either way, they turned away business.
