I Love coming here with my friends when we want some pho. The P12 is are go to without fail and we usually get some bubble tea after too. The have good bahn mi sandwiches. The pork one is my favorite. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place for sure. read more

Super great and fast service here, you ask for it they will get it almost instantaneously. We came just for bubble tea which they do very well here and at reasonable prices. But while looking at the menu decided to order the shrimp spring roll. I'm sure glad we did. The rice paper was thin and the shrimp tasty. Not sure if the make their own peanut sauce at all, if they do it was great. Heck if it came out of a can it was tasty. As for the bubble tea they have a limited selection but they do know how to make it right. My taro tea came out nice and chilled. The boba was chewy and tasted well. I have been here for the pho in the past which usually tastes pretty good. I LOVE PHO! Really, I do! Knowing my love affair with Pho, I tried this place on a friend suggestion. The chicken Pho was delish but lacked some sort of flavoring...I couldn't put my finger on it. I had Lunch today with friends and coworkers,bringing two of my worlds together. Though I really came to try the Pho, I ended up with a Rice dish, go figure. I ordered the grilled Shrimp and Rice along with Egg Rolls. Everything was good, the shrimp were grilled nicely with just the right amount of char-grilled flavor. The rice was fresh and good. The Egg Rolls were a little different than what I am used to in an egg roll, but they were really food nonetheless. The place is a repeater for sure. read more

This was my first time trying a pho, I wish I had taken a picture but I was so hungry that I forgot. I had the vegetarian pho which came with the pho noodles and lot of veggies along with a side of sprouts and basil. It was very satisfying, of course I did add a lot of chilli paste to the pho because I love it hot and spicy. So disappointing! I used to love this place. Today, the service was rude. Our waters were gross - room temperature, glasses only 2/3 full and containing last week's lemons. Nasty! When I asked for some ice, I was told that they're "having problems with the ice machine, so they are only putting ice in drinks." 1) I thought my water qualified as a drink, but there is so little water in the cup maybe I'm just supposed to dip and wash my fingers in it. 2) there are three places within walking distance from which they could buy ice. Even McDonald's sells it for $2 a bag in the drive thru. So, remind me, why am I choking down this warm, rotten lemon water? Next up: jalapeños. Our pho side plate came out with a heaping pile of sprouts, an infinitesimal amount of cilantro, completely juiceless limes and last month's basil. And, wait for it, no jalapeños! I guess they're having problems with their jalapeño machine too. Sadly, that will be my last visit. There are so many great options for Pho in Irving that I won't miss this place. read more

I've had great pho and weak pho. I've tried tendon and tripe in my pho, I've tried seafood pho, and I've tried chicken pho. So after much experimentation, I've concluded the most important pho aspects for me are that 1.) it's beef-based, 2.) the beef is tender, and 3.) the broth is flavorful. If you've never had pho before, then you're in for a treat. You'll get a large bowl, filled with broth, noodles, and the meat of your choice. If you order beef, you are generally served a bowl with the beef slightly pink and you get to watch the hot broth cook your meat. You'll also get a side dish of mix-ins. Generally people mix in the bean sprouts, cilantro, and jalapenos into the pho broth, squeeze some lime in it, and flavor to taste with some Siracha and/or Hoisin sauce. Then go to town with the soup spoon in your left hand and chopsticks in your right hand! I went to I Luv Pho for the Pho + Boba UYE, where we had a large group of 12 rowdy Yelpers The service was about as good as it could be for such a large group; the waiter didn't try to rush us, was attentive when we asked for things, and brought out our orders quickly. Like many others in our group, I ordered the filet and meatball pho. The meatballs were tasty, while the filet was tender, so the pho definitely hits my first two criteria. Had some time in between business meetings and decided to have lunch at I Luv Pho for the first time. They have been open for business for about a year. A clean establishment with great service. It provides a dine-in experience with food arriving at the table quickly and that worked out perfectly during our short lunch break. The Pho Soup was great. I had the Filet Mignon with Tendon soup. The extra large version. Also at the table were a couple of Crispy Rice Noodle with choice toppings. The food overall was delicious and the portions were generous. The pricing was even better. The soups were under $8.00 and the Rice Noodle dishes were under $9.00 for most items. I will visit again for a quick lunch soon. read more

This place has completely gone to hell. Twice now that I have waited over 20 minutes just to get my food the second time I just said forget it. Not only that but the food quality has gone down significantly. It is not worth coming here anymore. There is just too many pho houses in this area to take the level of service down. Being single and out of town for Valentine's day is not really a good combo, but at the end of the day the person you gotta love is yourself, and PHO. So what better way to spend a single valentines day then enjoying a good bowl of Pho at I LOVE PHO. This place is kind of hard to find for people not familiar with the area. Because it's inside of a strip center that kind of sits atop a hill. Once inside the place isn't that big and not nicely decorated, but I was there for the food. I started my meal with their special appetizer with the Nam nuong spring rolls. They were so good, they even added in the crunchy piece like my grandma used to make. As far as the pho went I started out judging their broth, very good not too much fat, the noodles were fresh, but what sets this place apart is their meat. I always get the ribeye (raw) meat, brisket, and meatball pho, but here for their raw meat they used filet. I had never had that before and WOW does it make a difference. I have been here four to five times and the last time I went was when my dad flew back from being out of the country for business. We wanted a place to relax and celebrate his homecoming. So, party of three and the service was poor. There were no more than three groups in the entire place. We waited almost fifteen minutes before they served drinks. This was the longest we have ever waited. Generally, it takes about five minutes at least. As soon as we told them we wanted water, they ran off despite telling them we wanted to go ahead and order. Towards the end of the night, I had to run to Barnes & Noble to get a book. When I got back, both of my parents did not look pleased. Turns out there was a small roach in my dad's pho. I won't go into the details about it. When we flagged down the waitress and told her about it, she denied it saying "Oh, we don't have bugs in our meals. I am 100% positive." My dad lifted up his bowl and there it was. We requested to speak to the manager and they apologized and took that one order of pho off the ticket. I left to go to the restroom and when I came back, the entire meal except my coffee frap was compensated so I am not sure what my parents said to them. Regardless, this wasn't the way I wanted to celebrate my dad coming back. With any occasion, this is totally unacceptable. As for great pho with great service, try looking at Saigon Pho on Beltline and Josey in Carrollton. The Pho isn't that fresh nor is the aroma of the soup/ingredients. The quality of food has varied per visit that it just confuses me. I don't even know when is the best time to go. Their rice dishes and sandwiches turn out the best. I heart Pho, One of the few places this side of 360 that serves good Vietnamese food is I Luv Pho. Standard markers for a good restaurant are there. Plenty of Viet customers and staff. The menu is primarily in Vietnamese with English descriptions. Including a few Engrish phrases, but I won't tell you where their at in the menu, they are for you to find. Enjoy! I used to come here quite often when I worked in Las Colinas, but I still make it up here on the weekends for some Bun, spring rolls and Pho. The veggies are always crispy, but I wish their fish sauce was a bit stronger, I'm a hard core fish sauce enthusiast. This is a great place to bring first timers too. The decor is clean and modern. Although, they do seem to have a issue with leaving dirty dishes out from time to time. When I went last time, they did not bus a table from the time we arrived until we left. They'll quickly be impressed by the cleanliness of the location and think they're eating genuine authentic Asian food. And it is... close enough. Even the cultured ones like it too. Quick culture lesson: "Pho", pronounced "fuh", as in "what the fuuuhhhhh...." not to be confused with "Pho" as in "fow" which is ebonics and not remotely Vietnamese (unless you grew up in the hood with me, then maybe so...) is a type of Vietnamese rice noodle soup usually consisting of beef broth, rice noodles, and some combination of meat. Tripe is my favorite. Now, the word "Pho" in the name of the restaurant might mean that a) they only serve Pho 2) Pho is one of the many things on the menu among other, generally southeast asian dishes. In this case the latter applies and you're not obligated to order pho. I don't generally order it. You see... I Luv Pho, but not here. Here I love their K50, which is a beef stew with rice noodles. It's a much heartier and delicious broth than the one they use in their pho. I especially enjoy the soft carrots and tender beef. 4 stars for the K50. Order it with the noodles and ask for a side of french bread. Carb overload. My non-asian friends like it too. They go there three times a week. read more

I heart Pho has stolen my heart. I had never heard of Pho before but one day I was at work in the area and I had a terrible cold. One of my co-workers told me if I wanted to get rid of it I needed to go to I heart Pho and have a big bowl. Being a little adventurous (and desperate) I went and LOVED it. I had the beef and meatball pho. The beef was good, meatballs not so much (I don't recommend those). But the broth was incredibly flavorful and it warmed me from the inside out. I called for about 5 minutes tonight trying to place an order. No one would answer the phone until two minutes before they closed. At which time the gentleman told me they were closed already. I explained that I have been trying to call and no one has answered the phone, he said they don't take orders after 7:50 PM. I told him I was right across the street, did not matter. There was not organized service. one person took my order. two persons served me food and then 4th one gave me silverware lolz I haven't seen service like that before. Ok, so I finally had my first pho experience in the DFW area. I went with my friend Alex there for dinner last night. It was good because I have been sick and it was a nice remedy for my sore throat and cough. That being said, I was SICK,meaning I will be even more pickier about food. If it was AMAZING pho, then I would think so and would still be able to taste the rich flavor. However, the pho wasn't as great as I was imagining it to be. I had to use about 2 full spoonfuls (the weird looking Asian spoon...which holds A LOT more than regular stainless steel ones) of hoisin sauce to give it more flavor. The restaurant was clean, much more so than the ones in AZ that I've been to. It also gave more of an "American" feel, than a Vietnamese one. Don't expect Vietnamese music playing through the speakers or an obnoxious amount of "Viet" decorations in the restaurant. It's not there. The best thing about the experience was it was rather inexpensive for the both of us. I think I paid around $14.00 including tips for the both of us. The other funny thing is that our waiter was hispanic and pronounced my "Pho" dish exactly right. He said "Pho Tai Sach"...probably better than some young Vietnamese people can. :) read more

You will definitely get a good, satisfying bowl of soup at this spot! I normally get the vegetable pho along with the tofu spring rolls. The only negative part about the pho is that you only have the option of chicken or beef broth, there's no vegetable option. The broth is decent though, and all of the veggies in it seem to be fresh! Very good! The thing that sticks out in my opinion is the peanut sauce for the spring rolls! Mmmmmmm! So good! The spring rolls are great, but the sauce takes it over the top! My friend and I came here for the first time during our lunch break. The first thing we noticed was that there was a line of customers and the restaurant was packed (which must have meant the food was great). We stood in line for about 10-15 minutes and was then seated to our tables. The service was quick and pleasant. Our waiter was extremely patient with us, since there were so many choices to choose from the menu. I saw other customers order a small/regular bowl of pho, but my friend ordered a size large-xlarge and I ordered shrimp spring rolls and combination fried rice. I would say that a small/regular bowl of pho would have been enough, my friend happened to get full quickly. Same for me, my first thought about my plate of combination fried rice was not enough, but I got full halfway through my meal. The spring rolls were not the best, but I have no complaints about it. The fried rice was flavorful and moist, but the chicken and beef were a bit dry. I placed the meat aside and just finished the rice instead. Overall, the restaurant is nice and spacious with fast service, and the staff and patient and friendly. Would I come back? Not voluntarily. I wouldn't choose this restaurant as my all time favorite or come here regularly. If a friend of mine wants to come eat here, I wouldn't argue against it. read more
