I came here late at night for a brown sugar pudding with boba topping added. The place wasn't full on this evening and I was able to sit down and wait for my drink which came out in a reasonable amount of time. This place has my favorite taro milk drinks! The taro is ALWAYS fresh (or maybe frozen? but it's always real taro and not the gross powder stuff that other bubble tea places sometimes use). The taro milk drinks and purple rice drinks are so good at i'Milky. I've tried some of their other drinks but I still think the taro ones are their strong suit. This is a small place -- there is a small area you can sit, but I'd recommend coming here for grab and go since most of the times that I've been here, there were no available seats. Service is hit or miss depending on the employee. It's usually friendly though! But sometimes, they aren't knowledgeable about the products if you have questions. read more

I stopped in and ordered a strawberry mango pomelo (limited time only) because the sign/picture on the sidewalk enticed meeee. my god -- every sip hit so perfectly and the drink was a great use of $10 on a hottt night. I had the Fresh Taro Milk and it was better than I expected. It's not like the taro milk tea from other places that use the powdered purple taro but real chunks of taro in the drink which made it very good. It was also nice and creamy and not too sweet either which is what I look for in good quality bubble teas. The cashier there was also friendly and helpful when I was deciding what to order. I was having my normal craving of boba on Saturday, so after catching a show we headed here! There was not a big rush on a Saturday afternoon, though the tables were full. We were walking around Manhattan and worked up a thirst. I had a craving for a cold and refreshing bubble tea or slush. Got on my trusty Yelp app and looked up boba and quite a few places popped up. Most of the places were chains that we have back in Houston. I sought out something new to me and I'Milky in Midtown was what I settled on. There was some construction happening on the building and scaffolding made it slightly difficult to locate. I guess I'm used to somewhat spacious boba shops back in Texas because this place was tiny. As you walk in, the ordering counter is to your right with barely any room to maneuver and off to the left is a very small seating area. Customer service was really lacking here. As soon as we walked in they were ready to take our order. No hi or asking if it's our first time to see if we need help with the menu. We felt rushed. I mentioned that I wanted something without dairy and more on the refreshing, fruity side. The employee immediately suggested the Golden Mango Slush. In my years of drinking boba, a slush is usually a blended, fruity drink with no dairy whatsoever. What I got was a milk heavy drink with mango slush on top. Now, I take the blame for blindly saying yes to something I've never had, but at the same time, the employee suggested it knowing what I was looking for. Milky is in the name, but I wasn't expecting a drink that I only taste milk in. It was neither refreshing or good. I ended up throwing it away not even half way through and still craving a cold and refreshing drink. This place seems like a popular spot, but it is definitely a one and done for me. Boba craving satisfied in new york! We randomly were looking for a boba place and were glad to find somewhere close to times square that wasn't your basic chain that you can find all over the states. They have limited indoor seating so this might not be the place to hang with friends. I ordered the mango milk with boba at 50% sweetness and my friend got the passionfruit with jelly at 25% sweetness. Prices were slightly more expensive since the cups were small but it is new york *melting emoji. If you want something tart, the passionfruit drink will definitely satisfy your cravings. It was so fresh and definitely great as a palette cleanser. For the milky drink lovers (as the title of this place suggests), then opt for the mango milk as it was creamy but not overpoweringly sweet. The boba was also perfectly chewy! Super cute boba shop! I happened to walk right by it as I was making my way back to the hotel and so I turned around and popped right in. The employees were friendly and greeted me right away. There was no line when I walked in but as I waited for my drink the line started to get long. I ordered a regular traditional milk tea with boba in a cute Christmas Bear cup and for some reason the cup made me so happy! The drink was really good and refreshing and the boba was delicious. Super cute boba shop! Decorations are adorable and they even have a little tv on how to drink your boba and onigiri which is amazing. He explained the difference in drinks well and gave a nice recommendation. When I asked for the special Christmas container he also informed me about the extra price which I appreciated.
