So I went back to I tea today and it seems as though they took the mango sago out from their menu. The cashier told me it's a "seasonal drink" Which makes no sense at all. I use to go all the way to sf just for mango sago. It was the only drink I came for. I'm so sad, and hope that it really is just "seasonal". But it's not even on their menu anymore so I'm sure they're just telling ppl that to fade it out. So disappointed in you I tea. Not coming back here anymore until that drinks come back. This is a place my cousins and I love coming to for our tea and snack fix when we are in this area. It can get crowded, and I understand why. The tea tastes very clean and fresh, and their food is delicious! My hubby and I have only been to three spots so far, but they are practically interchangeable with each other. Their consistency is on point! For this particular i-Tea, the shop itself is the biggest we have encountered and their menu is equally as massive. They offer all the usual drinks, like milk teas, iced milks, fruit teas, and smoothies, but on top of that, they also serve a variety of foods, including chicken wings, fries, tacos, short ribs, and a bunch more (just no ramen). Wanting to try one of my personal favorites, I chose the hazelnut pudding iced milk while my hubby got the lychee frosty (which they spell as litchi). Even though they were new, service was quick and efficient so we barely had to wait before our parched throats were quenched with delicious drinks. My cup was served in their super large cup and tasted EXACTLY as I expected, creamy with a delicious undertone of hazelnut. The egg pudding was smooth and had a wonderful custard taste as well. My hubby was super impressed with his smoothie, loving the freshness of the drink and the chewy bits of lychee pieces at the bottom. It was perfect for the heat! As always, i-Tea uses five stars as their reward program with every nine points earning you a free drink. Can there ever be enough i-Teas? Heck no! I enjoyed the fresh and bolder taste of the white peach oolong tea with 30% sweetness to truly enjoy the natural tea flavor. Short Rib Bao: The short rib meat gave the bao that sweet and tangy taste and the veggies helped added some freshness. The bao is also covered with panko crumbs and deep fried for an added crunch. Service: I'm a regular at the Milpitas location where drinks come out slowly but San Jose I-Tea was fast with getting drink orders made despite the long line. I've redeemed SO many free drinks here via 5Star (Yes, I really do go THAT often) and I don't think I've ever had soggy, old boba here. I loved them all aside from the tiramisu. It sorta just tasted like chocolate milk lol. Their customizations are all pretty standard. This might be my new go to drink every time I visit! My dad got the Lychee Green Tea which comes with Lychee bits, boba, and Lychee jelly! 3 toppings in one drink?! Okay, if you can't remember like me, this is that same busy Milk Tea place by Mikonos on Caleveras. That's right, a lottta fuss about the noodles/food there along with their milk tea, long lines and stuffy air but this location is decupled in size. I'm not really sure how long it's been open, but it's Open: another popular boba shop to spread the crowd along Aborn. A lot of their food items seem pretty new/refreshing. I've never ordered food at the Caleveras location because the wait was always long, but tonight I was able to sample the popcorn chicken--the juiciest, chunkiest, flavoriest I've had from a bubble tea bar. Can you say garlic cloves ftw? It was my first time trying Taro too. 50% sweetness & 30% ice of course. This is probably one of my favorites, if not my favorite, boba store. The drinks I get, which is usually a panda milk tea, have a very nice flavor and is not watery at all. However, the sweetness level can get inconsistent, so sometimes it is too sweet or just right. The boba pearls are perfectly chewy. I brought my friend once to try and she ordered a matcha milk tea with no red bean and boba pearls, and she loved the flavor of the drink. The matcha wasn't grainy at all and the boba consistency was perfect for her as well. I especially love the calamari because it has a nice level of spice to it and very well seasoned. I always try different drinks, but at new places I am usually skeptical. However I was blown away with the customer service + ease of ordering. One of my favorite places to get boba!! There is always parking available and the employees are very friendly. I always get the mango fruit tea, which comes with a bunch of toppings, including litchi jelly, bits of mango, and pearls. I generally like my drinks sweet, but the mango green tea at regular sweetness is way too much for me. As a result, I get the mango fruit tea at 50% sweetness, The basil popcorn chicken is also really delicious here. It comes with basil leaves and garlic chunks. Opened an I-tea location near me and I cannot be more excited. I first found this store up in SF where I tried their mango sago and that completely won me over. Now opening closer to home, I couldn't wait to indulge on more mango sago drinks. Unfortunately, they currently don't have it probably because mango out of season soon. Nonetheless, their Hokkaido drink is good - rig and creamy with pudding and boba. I personally ask for less toppings because they tend to give quite a bit. I also like their passion yakult, which is basically a passion fruit yogurt drink. I also like their snacks: truffle fries and popcorn chicken. My go to is Mango Sago at i-Tea. But tonight as I was finishing up my drink, I got to the bottom of my drink where the mango settled and noticed that it was incredibly brown and mushy. For their soft opening the drinks we're basically half off and I got the brown rice sugar drink and it was super good! I'm definitely coming by one of these days and bring couple of my friends too! I tried this place a long time ago in Milpitas and now that they're somewhat closer to me in the was side I'm super happy about that. I love their egg pudding and I'm am yet to taste their snack! FINALLY made it to i-Tea, this new location opened in the last few months but they no longer serve mango sago (out of season until January - *CRIES*). Have to say i-Tea is in my top 3 boba joints. Favorites boba spots in order are Boba Guys, Happy Lemon, i-Tea - and I like all of them in different ways. i-Tea is most akin to Share Tea, Gong Cha, T Pumps, One Tea, but better. The best part of i-Tea is the variety and quality across the board. My favorites were definitely the crema and Okinwan, but can't wait to return for the other drinks! 1) Okinawan Tea - 4.5 stars: Typically hate Okinawan tea because it's sickly sweet even at 25% sugar (ahem Sharetea), but I loved the flavor of the tea and creaminess. 2) Green Tea Crema - 4.5 stars: Different, but as good as Happy Lemon's version because it's thick, rich and blends well with the robust flavored tea. 3) Ooolong Milk Tea - 4 stars: Love oolong usually - comparable but not as good as the Okinwan IMO. 4) Guava Tea - 3 stars: Very sweet at 50%; fruit tea is just not my cup of tea ;) Mango Sago - I will be back for you in January! read more

My partner and I always come here for popcorn chicken cravings; last week we came in three consecutive days that I'm sure the cashiers were thinking "not these people again!" lolol, all jokes aside, we don't go anywhere else for snacks anymore because iTea really has everything quality and quantity wise. For the snacks, we tried the popcorn chicken (HIGHLY recommend to dip w/ sriracha!!) and HANDS DOWNNNN it is the most amazing popcorn chicken ever tasted! It comes with garlic bits and basil that they fry it with, so the chicken comes really packed full of flavor. We also tried the bacon and cheese fries as well as the bacon and Parmesan fries. Out of the two, the bacon and Parmesan fries is our favorite! It has the right amount of cheese, and the fries always come crispy :') We had an incident the other time where the Parmesan bacon fries had a really coarse hair in it, but it was promptly dealt with and we were also given a free drink of any choice for the next time we ordered. They usually have this as a fruit tea, but I generally prefer milk in mine :) If you're ever in the mood for a fruity milk tea, I highly recommend this. This place is very good in terms of drinks and food. My boyfriend still thinks Pekoe is better, but this place is very very close to it. When we go to i-tea we go and get the bao's which is a super crunchy yet soft and fluffy bao topped with tender Short Rib meat with a creamy special sauce with siracha. This is seriously amazing and a great snack/meal. We have also tried the Parmesan truffle fries which were very good as well. Thin, crispy, flavorful fries paired with a fruit tea boba...soo good. I really live their Match milk tea with matcha pudding and red bean. I get it with light sweetness and it's a really nice balance between the elements there. Been here a few times since they've opened and I think it's time for a review. Drinks are decent, staff is decent, parking is decent, but their snacks here are above decent imo! I've heard good things about the fried tofu from my friends as well, but my favorite unique snack they have here is their fried short rib bao's! They're $3.25 each or $6.00 for two, and they're small but really tasty. Their drinks here are good but nothing really stand out to me, I've tried a lot of their fruit teas, their Oreo black tea blended, their iced milk, etc; everything was good- not super amazing but not bad. Their area is pretty big and has lots of seating for a milk tea cafe, but it does get super crowded on weekends and nights! I also like how they have plenty of board games and even a tv playing anime whenever I come in. Drinks come out fairly quick. Cashier is nice but I never really see them smile... Honestly, I only had one drink here so I cannot fully say I hate or like this place. The service was good, there's plenty of parking, and the wide array of drinks and snacks totally draws me to go back and give it a second chance. Drink: Taiwanese Royal Jade Crema- the jade tea is actually very light and pleasant by itself. I got 80% sugar and 50% ice. Cremas are GREAT with certain teas but I don't think it's a great match with the jade tea. If you mix the cream with the tea, you lose the taste and appreciation of the tea. I would recommend dropping to 50% sugar for this drink, or get a different crema. read more

I have carefully thought about this before writing this review and I must share it to inform other customers to be on the lookout since I've contacted your shop and nobody addressed to me that they will ensure that they will try to prevent this from happening again. It is true what I have written and shared and doesn't matter if you try to cover up with all your excuses, but at least I'm letting others know so that they can be careful since you yourself don't seem to care. When the owner Vincent told me that he would call me back after he looks over the video...he didn't. Therefore after not hearing back from him, I came home from my night class and was curious what it was that I had seen so I looked up maggots as I really wanted to know if what I saw was maggots. I came across maggots eggs and knew that it was exactly what I had seen in the popcorn chicken and not excuses that I was told. So, I contacted him back before closing and texted him the pictures that I had came across with the one on the popcorn chicken. He did agree that it looked like maggot eggs and told me that he would call me tomorrow to discuss it since it was late. He never called me back. I heard excuses from you guys, yet it would have been nice to be take responsibility and let me know that you guys are aware of it and will take caution so it doesn't happen to other customers. I did mention that with the Vincent. Also, I never said the chicken was cold as you've stated yourself. When my family came there on Friday it was juicy and the color was fresh looking, because they bought it for me to eat. That was why I asked my hb to get it for me for lunch on Monday; yet this time it was old looking, tasted dry and hard. That's what I told the manager and Vincent. The reason that it took me a few hours to contact you guys was because I had to get back to work after lunch, so I called the shop after work to inform them. He said he closed it after getting in the car so it wouldn't spill. It took him less than 10 mins to get to my work. I'm shocked to see that you can state that your place doesn't have flies especially as many customers going in and out or even a back door being open if you have one; I just don't see how you can prevent flies from coming into your place! Although the place kind of looks shabby, its a decent place to grab some drinks and play games. It can get very loud though, it was really hard to maintain a conversation or hear my number get called. DRINKS| Very large selection, can be overwhelming! During my visit, I tried the Passion Fruit Green Tea and Roasted Oolong MT. It was good, the Roasted Oolong MT tastes very similar to the Roasted MT found at Chatime. Passion Fruit Green Tea was okay, I do suggest changing the sugar level (I had an 80% Sugar level, it was a little sweet for my taste) Most of the drinks does come with add ons already, so make sure the add ons are the ones you prefer in your drinks. FOOD| Seasoned Curly Fries (5.50, the price did increased based on another yelper review by .75 cents) It was good but I found myself wanting more of the condiments/sauces on the fries because it was mainly on the top of it. This caused the top layer of fries to be a little on the soggy side plus extremely salty in flavor. Besides that, without the sauce, its just tastes like the curly fries you can get for a lot cheaper at a fast food place like Jack in the Box. Employee+Customer Service| The employees were nice for the most part but they need to find a better system on making the drinks because the cashier was also in charge of placing the toppings/add ons into the cup. If you are unlucky and find yourself behind a person ordering 2+ drinks, you probably going to be awkwardly staring at the employees while you wait for them to get your order. They were pretty good, but I wasn't too fond of panda milk tea. Taro tasted awesome since little taro bits were included. Great plaza because there is lots of parking, and they have typical games such as cards, uno, and jenga. I knocked a star off because no one helped us with the menu when we were staring at it for a while.
