A nice refreshing break from my usual Sharetea. I was able to order the white peach oolong with CREAMA! Sharetea never lets me add CREAMA from their original creama menu. So, I was ecstatic. The service is great and helpful too. Nice clean establishment. Can't wait to return! read more

Although there is nothing exceptional about the boba texture and taste and the classic milk tea at this place, it does serve a solid milk tea. I also noticed that the flavored teas are made with the syrups in the back. The ramen is a cool addition to the menu, but keep in mind that there is no vegetarian options for the noodles, which was a bit saddening. As for the basil garlic chicken, you get to add your own paprika on the counter near the entrance, and the chicken pieces that I ate were cubes of chicken with no fat. Much more on the meatier side than other boba places I've been to. :) Lastly, my friend and I appreciated that the entrance mentions the kitchen closing time. Wish it was on their website though to help us last-minute deciders know that we have a more limited menu after that time. read more

A welcome addition to an otherwise boring shopping center. It's clean and bright and bustling. I am and old school coffee drinker but my kids love this stuff and they gave it a big thumbs up. Service was fast and friendly and the tables and floor were clean - yay! Downside is non-existent parking, especially for a big mama rig like mine. We had to park on E. 14th and hoof it across the center, dodging drivers stalking the much coveted spots in the center that was probably built in the horse and buggy days. read more

iTea is always providing the above-standard milk teas and mango drinks. I have tried the mango slush before, it was the best treat for the hottest summer. Now, I was trying their hot drink, the hot brown rice milk tea, is also another great treat for winter. It tastes pretty clean, smooth and warm. I also recommend the Yakitori? (Y2) and the pop-corn chicken. You just don't have to travel to Japan Town to get your treat. read more

I came to this location yesterday and loved my tea so I came back today for lunch. I got popcorn chicken curly fries and the same tea again. Glad way through I find a thick black hair in my drink. I was so disgusted I didn't even think to take a picture. ITea is our new to go place. This review is really more about the food and not the tea. I love all their food! The Japanese egg tofu is so silky and tasty, the pork sausages hits the spot and makes me think of Taiwan street food, the eel fried rice is the best although I order it without the caviar cause I don't like the fishy taste of caviar. The ramen is good for the price, tasty and filling although the noodles do lack texture. I like a few of the drinks, the ones with Yakut especially and the fruit teas, but am not a big fan of their boba. I've had better. But over all, it's one of my favorites right now! read more

One of my favorite spots to grab boba while running errands, can be a little hectic and the setup isn't conducive to the lines that pop up, but the staff is super quick and always friendly. Was really disappointed with my visit to i-Tea couple weeks back and only getting around to writing the review now. Ordered a hot Okinawa milk tea. Took about 20 minutes for them to make it. Numbers for customers that ordered after me were called before my order - all cold drinks. I saw my cup just sit on the counter while they made the cold drinks orders. Then when I finally did get my hot Okinawa milk tea the side of the cup was crushed down and the lid was not secure. Seems like the girl tried to put on the lid and accidentally crushed the cup.. Had I not noticed before leaving the store and tried to drink the tea I would have been wearing a hot Okinawa milk tea - not a good look!!! I asked the girl to change the cup, but the girl did not seem to want to until the cashier told her to give me a new cup. Then the tea in the new cup was delivered back to me AGAIN with the lid not secure...seriously???? If I could give zeros stars for this customer service experience I would! read more

Love the black garlic ramen... It came with several big garlic cloves those already fried... So yummy, the ramen were not too salty which is a plus on my book ... The drinks were fantastic as well, we had a hot ginger milk tea and a milk tea with boba and grass jelly (30% sweet), they both were really good... Finally!!! There's an Itea in San Leandro!! I have been waiting for them for months already. I am a milktea fan, and always want something to drink while at home or work. Since it's just few blocks from my home, I don't need to go to Oakland or Castro Valley to just buy a drink. I went both on their soft and grand openings, but that was much crouded on the grand opening. Drinks: Came out pretty fast and still taste good when there are lotta orders. Boba is always good and chewy like the way I want. Foods: I came late at night and the ramens were all sold out =(. But instead of ramen, I tried their popcorn chicken and chicken wings. The portion for the popcorn chicken was huge, I gotta finish it with my bf. Both of them are yum but I will definitely come again to try their ramens. Staffs are nice and sometimes bring your foods to your table when it's not busy. All drinks in the grand opening menu are just $2.50 til Dec 11. This iTea is fast. Once you get the drinks a couple of times, you'd know how to adjust the sugar and ice levels to customize your drink to your liking, and then it'll be exactly the same going forward. Of the 6 iTea stores that I've visited, this one produces the most consistent taste visit after visit. But the reason they get the 5th star is because, even though most of their orders contain cow's milk, my daughter's milk teas with soy has never contained any cow's milk; whereas she's gotten an allergic reaction to milk teas with soy from other iTea's (and other milk tea shops) because of residue. Whatever they're doing to wash their containers and reduce cross-contamination is working really well, at least with dairy. I no longer worry about getting a drink for my daughter at this iTea. Large portion size for the fried snacks is definitely for sharing. read more

I love i-Tea. It's my favorite boba place, whether it be in San Leandro, Oakland or Alameda. The great thing about the San Leandro and Alameda store is that they have popcorn chicken. It'd that addictive kind too, especially when you add that red pepper powder. But for me the best thing about all of them is that they do a great Krema series. I often do Wintermelon Tea (it supposedly has less caffeine) with Krema and I add Aiyu Jelly and Aloe Jelly. My number two drink is the Kiwi Fruit Tea with kiwi fruit pieces and aloe jelly. I got a Taro milk tea and the flavor was fine but there were little chunks of what looked like it must have been the taro powder or something and it really made the whole thing not fun to drink.
