i came here because my co workers would always bring food from this place and its always good. so i finally have a chance and went 2 days ago around lunch time, that was wrong timing. there was no parking around the area, i had to park to the other block and walked over here. i came in and as i was about to order i realized i left my wallet in the car. so i told the lady that i left my wallet and will just come back. i turned my back and i realized i can order right now so i dont have to wait long when i have my wallet. i turned back around and i saw one of the guy behind the counter rolled his eyes on me for forgetting the wallet. that was really unprofessional. i was already stressed out that it took me a long time to find parking, had to walk to this store and this guy had to roll his eyes because i forgot my wallet. that was very rude of him. the food is good but i will never come back if im treated that way. read more

I really like this restaurant and have eaten there maybe 6 times. I would ordinarily rate i-Tea 4 stars. The last time I ate at iTea was on Saturday, March 17, 7:45PM. Instead of my usual, the garlic ramen, I ordered the Y25. It tasted fine. Unfortunately between 3-5AM the next morning, I got MAJOR FOOD POISONING complete with the horrible, classic symptoms. I called the manager at noon to complain and report the problem. She was sympathetic and said that this had never happened before and that she trains her staff on food handling, etc. She offered first, a free bubble tea (I said no thanks), then a free ramen (I said no thanks). I'll continue to scan the reviews before returning to i-Tea any time soon. read more

Worst than Castro valley. You have to stand in the long line to get your drink even though you called in. Meanwhile, Castro valley allows their customers to go to the front to pay when they come to pick up. read more

Not a big drink guy, (I usually get a plain milk tea) but it was pretty tasty. The gf gets different varieties and says the drinks are really good. I've gotten a taro drink and it's made with real taro. I also ordered an order of the popcorn chicken which was really good. They serving size was huge and the pieces were cooked really well. I'm very picky with boba places; if there aren't more than 3 drinks I like on the menu I'll stop going. With iTea I could literally close my eyes and choose something random and like the drink. The boba here is so consistent- it's both chewy and has the right amount of sweetness. I definitely recommend this place if you like a stronger tea taste in your drink. read more

So far so good. Gonna give t-4 a run for their money. krema black tea is pretty good. Fried donuts with condensed milk are good and fresh, not greasy. This is a tea place with really good food!!! For a fast bowl of ramen, it's so good! Beef tendon also on point, that sticky, gelatinous goodness- not what you would except at a boba place. My cousin and I usually go here when we're at her place in San Leandro; this has been our go to spot when we want boba and snacks. But girrrrl let me tell you, this place gets crowded, and for good reasons! They have a variety of yummy drinks with all sorts of combinations, which gets hard to choose since every single drink that I've tried so far is pretty good. And with their food menu items, it's hard to choose of which one to get. At night is when it gets crowded, but the workers are all efficient and fast that your drinks come out in just a few minutes. Stopped by here while passing thru the area, and it's awesome. LOTS of great boba & other drinks to choose from, open and spacious with lots of tables, and prices seemed much less than other places. They also have very good pix on the wall to show you all of their offerings, Warriors game(replay) was on TV, and they even have lots of great Asian meals ranging from Taiwanese favorites to Ramen. My only wish is they had MORE of these locations, especially closer to Walnut Creek! read more

I love coming to I-tea with my friends and my family. First they are super clean and nice sittinf area. They are are fast and very friendly, especially the manegar (i think she is the manager). If anytime order goes wrong (which is rare) she fixes it right away! Awesome place! read more

Horrible customer service. They served me the wrong ramen order. I took a few bites and noticed it wasn't the spicy miso like I ordered. When the waitress came out with the correct one, I pointed out that that was probably my order and she said she'd go back and check to see what went wrong (since she already saw a dish at the table). After a few minutes, she did not come back and so I had to wait back in line at the front to confront them about the mishap. They ended up bringing out my correct order, but I was not comped nor given a sincere apology about the inconvenience. read more

Goodbye Starbucks, hello passion fruit green tea. Always good vibes going in, and happy hour specials are great! My go to appetizers are the popcorn chicken, egg rolls, and fries. Milk tea is relatively the same everywhere. The ramen here was excellent for the price, Ive had 15-20 dollar ramen from ramen restaurants that were worse. 11 dollars for this ramen is a steal. read more

If I had a choice between T4, Tapioca Express, and I-Tea, I would choose I-Tea every time. All 3 boba spots are conveniently (and competitively) located within a block of each other, but I-Tea just has so much more to offer. For starters, they use fresh fruit and tea daily. Secondly, not only do they offer snacks (I highly recommend the seasoned curly fries), but they actually have lunch/dinner food. They offer ramen, rice plates and now baked rice bowls. I personally prefer the I-Tea in San Leandro due to the upgrade in space - I've been to the one in Castro Valley, Alameda, Oakland Chinatown and Newark and while their quality is just as good, it lacks sitting/table space. I admit, prices are a tad but more expensive, but I rather pay for the upgrade than get that bitter day-old aftertaste from my boba read more

This is Taiwanese night market quality tea and food. I miss the night markets so much, and this place brought me rushing back to the night market experience. The tea is great (though go with 30% sugar if you aren't used to really sweet Taiwanese boba), and the fried food is even better. read more

Another Boba place in SL, plus- variety of food and drink selections. Hard to find parking and depending on the time of day, it can get busy and have long lines, this if you are only getting drinks, call ahead then line up to pay and your drink will be ready already. read more

I Like their appetizers the tea is good too my favorite ones are the mango but the reason I change my review is because now they take longer to give you your order last time I order a soup that they told me I can't order to go and I had to change my order then they forgot about my order I waited more than 15 min and until I ask where was my order because every one after me had left then they when back there and brought me the soup The least they could've done was say sorry we mess up here and at lease since I waited so long game it to me i. This place is normally very good but sometimes their customer service is horrendous. I don't even want to come here anymore. I'm willing to drive 45 mins to the city for a drink. That's how bad it's gotten. It's a shame cause they really capitalize on being open late. But when I ask them to put less ice in a drink, they say they can't? I don't care if the drink is going to be less, because I don't mind. But what I do mind is my teeth get sensitive from it being TOO cold. The consistency of the boba starts to change as well. Like if I don't drink all the boba right away the boba will be harder to chew and have that weird texture in the center where it doesn't feel right when you chew. Not just that, then after being told something seeming VERY unreasonable (like less ice?!) they don't even say anything just look passed me and ask the person behind me what they want to order. I told them I wanted the drink but no boba, they can't do that either. Well what if someone had an allergy? Just order a different drink. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because their food is still good and I have no issues with that. I think this place is in need of new management or a change in policy. Here for the millionth time. If you like sweet teas with milk this is the place. You can adjust the sweetness and ice to most drinks. Sometimes. Crowded d/t happy hour but worth it. Half price for drinks and snacks. Drinks are a little pricey but so is Starbucks. If you haven't tried this place...you must. A little different than T4 and Quickly. read more

My family went to this place on a Saturday afternoon. It is located in a old and small shopping center and the parking was crazy. We need to wait for over ten minutes for a spot to park. We only order drinks. The taste of tea was very light, or it was covered by the sugar and boba and pudding. It's not number one but still good if you like sweet more than tea. read more

The only place that I have found in East bay that has good ramen. This place is super authentic. The Black Garlic Oil Ramen is on the creamy side. The seasoned egg is yokey on the inside. The Beef tendon ramen is delicious. Big fan! read more
