Last night was the best dinner that I have had in a long time. Appetizers - clams, mussels were superb. Sauce was great, the clams and mussels were large and perfectly cooked. Rice balls a must. The paella, a Wednesday special was beautifully presented and delicious. Try the bolognese sauce. The best anywhere. John, the owner, is very hands-on. The entire time my party was eating the kitchen brought out select dishes that we didn't order because they wanted us to try things from the menu. The menu is simple but the food is above average. Went in to pick up the family meal deal on a rainy cold Friday a week before Christmas. The warm bread smell emanating throughout this place was magical and possibly the best part of my week. Then, for about the same price as a pizza and calzone for 2 adults and 2 kids to split , we got a beautiful family meal prepared with love. The family meal is amazing. Fresh chopped salad, homemade bread, veggies, roast potatoes, pounded chicken Milanese style, Mac and cheese, roasted green beans and zucchini, these little fritter things I'm not even sure what they were but they were just wonderful. And dessert! The attention to detail and the amazing quality of this place is unsurpassed. This place is amazing. I can't wait to go in for dinner and try some other menu items. Had my engagement party at Iachetti's Kitchen. The day was fantastic! John (the owner) took time to talk with myself and fiancée ahead of time to plan the menu. He listened to what our vision was and turned everything into reality! As guests arrived they were greeted with hors d'oevre's, Shrimp cocktails & Halloumi cheese to name a few. As the guests took there seats appetizers hit the table right away, flatbread pizza's, meatballs and lamb chops cooked to perfection! The servers were very attentive, checking in on all the tables to make sure glasses were full and the guests were happy. It's weird to write a restaurant review during the days of Corona, however Iachetti's really deserves kudos for stepping up. After being locked up at home for a couple of weeks we decided to try and step out to diversify our menu. We were happy to find Iachetti's was doing curbside pickup. They put together a few packages for a meal for 4 and we opted for the dinner 2 menu which included chicken cutlets. Ordering was easy because of the streamlined menu. When we got the meal it was placed in the trunk. We got the meal home and unpacked and rather than a meal - it looked like a feast. The meal included multiple appetizers, salad, bread and entree with multiple sides. Finally, also a chocolate chip cookie for each one. The flatbread was very good as well as the freshly baked bread. The salads were freshly cut and came with dressing and croutons on the side. The chicken cutlets were good and each person got 2 of them. They came with vegetable, fried rice and Mac and Cheese. I particularly enjoyed the rice which had some green onions and other vegetables mixed. Yummi. All the meal was very affordable and packaged well. All in all on these days of corona shutdown - I'd highly recommend taking advantage of this superb meal - until you can finally dine in person at the welcoming Iachetti's. Iachetti's saved my Thanksgiving! Not only did they have an incredible selection of delicious food options, but they made the process so easy for me to order ahead and pick up mid day on Thanksgiving, so that it was still warm when I got home and ready to serve! My family loves Iachetti's. The owner, John, is always so friendly and has really creative recipes. We always enjoy going for dinner (the Sunday special, pasta pomodoro, is the BEST), but today we decided to try the brunch menu. It did not disappoint. The homemade tater tots were done to perfection, as was everything else. My husband had the salmon, I had the poached eggs hollandaise with steak, and my daughter had the chicken and waffles. He made awesome potatoes croquettes with a chipotle sauce that were out of this world! also a shared appetizer of delicious meatballs! I went to Iachetti's tonight with family. The food was superb and the service even better. I tried the Parmesan Crusted Cauliflower, that I could have bathed in the aioli it was so good. The Iachetti's meatballs were so good we wanted more. Then start the dinner and it gets even better. The Sole was the best i ever had and my brothers could not get enough of the the Roast Prime Rib. John and his wife Cheryl are not only the ultimate host and hostess: they invite you into their kitchen and graciously offer tastings. And their enthusiasm is contagious. We went to Iachetti's with another couple last Sunday and we were really disappointed. I ordered onion soup, and got two slices of burned gruyere cheese topping an otherwise tepid and tasteless soup. I had a battle royal with the cheese, having to stab it with knife and fork just to eat it. My friend and I both ordered salmon. It tasted fishy, and we were both a bit sick afterwards. My husband ordered crab cakes, which he usually loves. They were mushy and he, too, was sick for the next day or so. My friend's husband ordered the pasta special, which looked like it had been thrown together. We ordered a cranberry apple tart for dessert. This was also burned. We had heard great things about the restaurant, so we were very surprised. The service, however, was good. read more

Yesterday was my first time at Iachetti's. It is a lovely contemporary style restaurant. From the moment we walked it, it was a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Our server Shannon was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We started with apps, I had the meatballs and my friend had quinoa salad. Both very different but equally as yummy. We both had the Beer can chicken for entree and it was a delicious dish. In a very old world italian way, the chef came around to the dining room to greet us all. We found this place on yelp after making some returns at Paramus mall. We were immediately greeted by both the owner and waitress. From start to finish this place earned every single star. The piping hot bread and spread , the appetizers - meatballs and parm cauliflower .. omg The avocado aioli was to die for. We got complementary potato fritters with dipping sauce .. I could have eaten 20, simply amazing. Short rib dinner was tender and well presented, delicious. Could Barely fit anything else in our stomachs but decided on the pecan pie for our anniversary dessert. Scrumptious!!! We just left and this is our 2nd time here, once for brunch 3 weeks ago and tonight for dinner. We literally love this place, brunch was awesome and dinner was just as fantastic. So it's thanksgiving and, while I did the main course, John from Iachetti's did everything else. We had amazing appetizers all afternoon - the smoked gouda, ricotta and fig flatbread, rice balls, meatballs and more. This was my first time at Iachetti's Kitchen and my wife and I loved it. Rice balls, French onion soup were excellent. It was hard to me to decide between the linguine and clam sauce, braised short ribs or the NY pork chop special. I went with the short ribs because they were served with grits that I love and do not see to often. The ribs were melt in your mouth and the grits creamy and tasty. My wife loved the moist beer can chicken. The waffle dessert was great. John and his wife were wonderful hosts and the staff very efficient. We will be going back for that linguine and clam sauce and the Thursday Prime Rib special! read more

Love this place! My mom and I went for dinner on Friday night. The restaurant was packed. The staff is always so lovely and the food is delicious. We've been here several times and have been very happy with the meals each time. The menu has a great assortment of options - pasta - flatbreads - chicken - fish. All made with real ingredients one can actually identify. The salmon cake special is great as is the chicken but really you cant go wrong. I read some reviews where people were dissatisfied with portion size and price. Which was so surprising bc I've always left with leftovers bc the portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Iachetti's Kitchen is my new favorite place! The food is superb and the atmosphere is very inviting. The aesthetic touches are perfect and the staff is unsurpassed! Every time I am here I feel as if I've been welcomed into the home of close friends or family. I almost hesitate to write this review for fear of not being able to get a table again. Upon entering, we are greeted very warmly by Cheryl (and often her sons). Otherwise, it is Marissa, Dawn, or Dane all of whom are equally friendly. Through all of the friendliness, the service is extremely professional. John and his family have come up with very imaginative dishes to please even the most discriminating palate. None have ever disappointed and have always been simply excellent! I've had their pancakes for brunch; the salmon over lentils, their Thanksgiving dinner special was my latest and compares to the finest traditional feast! Their sirloin steak is probably one of the finest I've ever had. The scallop appetizer is superb! For a "lighter meal" I've thoroughly enjoyed their root vegetables salad. Need I go on? What I am saying is that no matter what you choose here you can't go wrong!!! My wife and I have loved every time we have dined here and cannot recommend it strongly enough.
